anyone have any recommendations on these?
The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa goes rarely on sale, but they'll get me when it's 50% off at least.
@Moroboshi876 nice game, but, imho, not worth even 50% less
@sheriff
WILL: A Wonderful World is a great game.
@sheriff Will: A wonderful world I can vouch for. It's a puzzle game that has you swapping words and events to alter a story, and the story gets very mature VERY fast.
Actually playing my physical copy of Mietetsu: Pure Station. The localisation isn't perfect but aside from that it's been a nice, chill VN so far. WILL: A Wonderful World was pretty interesting too.
I'm almost kinda tempted by Shelter Generations at that price, but I'd probably never get around to playing it.
I wonder why they left out Rabi-Ribi when literally all their other games are here. Shame because that's a fun one.
@sheriff Pan-Pan is a charming little game that can easily be finished in one evening that is worth its regular price, already at budget level. At 80% off there's no reason not to buy; it basically just costs some spare change from other purchases.
Buy PanPan everybody it’s great!
@sheriff Maitetsu pure station is good.
I can vouch for Mercenaries Saga Chronicles. It's a very stereotypical FFT style game without any bells or whistles, but since it comes with three games you get a ton of content for your money. Plus if you're like me, a no frills SRPG is very enjoyable.
If anyone is a bit interested in Pan-Pan, definitely buy it at that price.
It's a charming little isometric adventure that has you explore a small island at your own pace, while you try to figure out how to solve puzzles to explore the rest of the island.
It's a bit obtuse at times, but nothing frustrating, and you can easily complete it in one sitting.
@Moroboshi876 I'm on the same boat here. I want Ringo but I'll wait a little more.
I'll get just Pan Pan now
I have Pan-Pan, Ringo, and Paper Dolls, but haven't played any of them yet. Button Button Up and Incredible Mandy are on my list, but I'm in no rush, so I'll wait to see if they get even cheaper later.
Pan Pan may finally win me over. Shelter generations seems like a beautiful idea, but if I couldn't handle a Pikmin dying, I don't think I can handle this one.
Nunca en mi vida había escuchado de ninguno de esos juegos.
Here is the correct link for PAN-PAN https://www.nintendolife.com/games/switch-eshop/pan-pan ☺
I've gone for Pan Pan as it looks like the perfect game for the current climate
Yesterday I got Bastion at 2.5 € (80% off) on the French eshop and yet I don't see it mentioned in any of those "super sale" news. No idea why, but can't wait to try it out tonight
@sheriff Pan Pan is pretty good for the price
@MrAsild In my opinion purely, Bastion is the only game I have truly hated. I need to express myself about it—I have no idea why it is ever recommended. Everything about it was a massive annoyance for me: the nonsense narrator, the incongruous design, the pretentiousness. It's my biggest Switch regret.
@HeroponRiki I full agree on mercenaries saga while nothing all that genre altering they are three sold games and can be enjoyed a mission at a time as some can be fairly long later in each game. If anyone is a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics or Tactics Ogre this really is just more of the same and on higher difficulties if you are used to the genre can take about 80 hours to get through all of them.
Looks like a lot of subpar games which are on sale all the time.
eShop sale....well if that's your game then go for it.
@Dman10 Looks can be deceiving.
@PanurgeJr Discounts can be deceiving too
@hakjie11 Sooooooo......what does that even mean? Are you suggesting that an 80% discount won't actually be 80%?
@PanurgeJr lol...no, just that some might not even be worth it even after 80% discount and some are totally worth it without discount
@hakjie11 That still doesn't explain what you meant, or how it applies to what I said.
