Tell me, how is what Apple is doing any different from what Nintendo, Sony or Xbox is doing on their platforms? Why is it OK for Nintendo to take 30% of sales but not Apple?
Microsoft Windows is an outlier but that doesn't make it the rule. We should be happy Microsoft allows any shop on Windows at all aside from their own Microsoft Store, but we shouldn't take it for granted.

I don't see any way Epic Games wins this battle. If you're using someone's operating system to deliver games to the consumer, it's only natural they're asking a percentage of the profits. I agree 30% is way too much though. 10-15% would be more fair.

I wouldn't mind upgrading to a newer model every 3 years or so as long as every Switch game remains playable on the newer model.

I believe Xbox is going to do the same for their home consoles going forward.

I need to charge my Switch twice a day, though I always put my Lite's brightness at full capacity.

To be clear on the length: it's about 8-10 hours.
This is a very good length for an indie metroidvania.

I'm interested but I'm going to wait for reviews on this one.
Yuji Naka's track record hasn't exactly been the best.

Alright, in that case we agree. I still don't trust them in turning the disastrous DW9 into a worthwhile game though. The fact they haven't shown any gameplay at all during TGS is very suspicious if you ask me.

But they still use all the same assets and what-not, so how about adding a new gameplay mode as DLC and charging $15-20 for it instead of releasing it as a completely new game?

Forgive me if I'm wrong but you seem to be defending Koei Tecmo's business practice of releasing the same game 3 times without the prior version's content. These should be DLC or expansion packs to make the base game better instead of asking the consumer to buy the game 3 times.

I looked a bit more into it and you're right, they're saying it won't be open-world anymore, but siege battles will still be a part of it. How's that going to work if it's not open-world? Their comments feel very conflicting to me and I don't trust them at all.

At least wait for the reviews to come out before buying this game.

I think it's possible. Technology has advanced quite a bit since the base PS4 launched in 2013, especially on mobile devices.

I really like Octopath Traveler and I think Tressa could add a lot of unique game mechanics to Smash. It's never going to happen of course.

I do believe an updated Switch model will come out in 2021. I don't think it will be a huge leap, but certainly big enough to run games at 1080p in handheld mode and maybe 1440p docked. 4K is not going to happen though.

I've played a good couple of Indie games.

I'm interested in both Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2. If I end up buying one of them (or both) it will be my first Monster Hunter experience.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps I will also purchase, probably next month. Balan Wonderworld also looks interesting but the footage they showed was very shoddy, so I'm going to hold off on that one.

All in all an excellent showcase of third party software. Much better than the previous two for sure!

It has potential, but there're a lot of issues with animations and framerates in this trailer. I hope they'll take their time and have enough budget to fix these things before release.

If you haven't played Alwa's Awakening yet, I can highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to the sequel.

Helicopters are cool and all, but I never liked these kind of games.

I've never played a Monster Hunter game. Maybe it's something I have to get into because they look pretty cool.

I loved the 3DS but the Switch replaced it as soon as it came out.
I never touched my 3DS since.
