Stardew Valley's Version 1.4 Update Is Now Available On Nintendo Switch

No, not again. Last time I played I was gone for like, a week. This game needs a warning label for how addictive it is.

Welp, time to drop another 100 hours into this game. Between this, Pokemon, Civ 6 and Atlier Ryza I'm glad I have 2 weeks off coming up! I'm gonna be practically glued to my Switch!

@Heavyarms55 Toss Monster Hunter in the pile.... just crossed 105hrs on Shield, 20ish was breeding Sobble for a shiny. 580 hours on MH. At least 250 hours on Civ 6, which I’m about to get back into because of DLC, and I’d say at least 500 on Stardew.....

Think I found the cause of my backlog issues. 🤣 Oh, and 280+ on Diablo 3.... Smh.

Good grief whyyyyy.... I guess I can now check out the new 14 heart spouse event for Alex so I can finally divorce him. xD Might break the 250+ hr mark for this frickin' game in the near future. 👀🧐

Wow I was just about to get into this game for the first time!

@JayJ Well worth your time! I’ve had trouble getting into Harvest Moon-like games in the past, but this one is so laid back and infectious. Stories are much deeper too.

Without spoiling anything, I’ll toss ya a few tips.... don’t worry/stress your first year or so. There’s no true deadline for anything (besides minor Fetch quests for townsfolk). So just enjoy the game.

Watch the tv forecast and plan to mine on days when it’s rains since you don’t have to worry about watering crops then.

Lastly, fishing is a good source of income during the first year.

Civ 6 running great now, then this happens. Welp I know how my Xmas break will be spent

I guess it’s going to be a Stardew Christmas for me! Like others here, I’ve put a lot of time into this. Such a charming game.

I think this holiday season is when I finally get my hands on Stardew Valley. Slept on this one for quite awhile now and I might as well push my current backlog further into the abyss.

The gift that keeps on giving. These updates always come at perfect times when I’m starting to feel that itch to jump back in.

Good thing I just abandoned it (I loved it, but I have too much backlog and I can't focus), so now when I resume this game it will be the best version yet.

Why do you do this!!! I've just started Terraria and now this update. Time to put my farming boots back on and try that new map Happy holidays farming folks.

I saw that Stardew Valley update was updating when I went to download Puzzle Book (today's free game in the QubicGames promotion). Did not expect that it was THE update.

This game is a masterpiece, I've avoided reading any guides because I love to learn about it myself. It's like a long lost Genesis game. Does it automatically update?
