Have yet to try shovel knight. However I just feel like there's plenty of nintendo characters that could come instead. We'll just see I suppose :s

Was really worried about this game. Never pre ordered it. But was really tempted by the beautiful pre order. Sadly I never beat bravely default and probably won't be getting this either. Looks interesting but not my taste.

I really hate it when Nintendo "expirements" too much on the lesser known franchise. Once or twice is okay but seriously? They do weird stuff to lesser known titles or barely promote em and then complain that they sell horrible and blame that the character isn't suited for game development. Like honestly if you gave them a decent game that made sense and stuck to their core. You would see sales like they should be.

This is really stupid. Not everyone in America has a toys r us or even a best buy. My nearest for either of those two stores are 2.5 hours away. If this is the case and they go out really fast online I may simply just luck out on em

These many amiibos for just one game? Hmm Nintendo this game better be kick ass or you better have a wii u animal crossing game in the mix. Seems like quite an awful waste of an Animal Crossing Engine

These are really good looking. However they look eh compared to some other flagship titles 3ds LE. Nothing beats the Majoras Mask one however these are nicer than the ACNL 3ds xl. I kinda wish the N3dsxl had interchangeable faceplates!

Could care less for the costumes. These stages are welcomed though! Kinda disappointed that Mario doesn't get the SMM costume it's kind of a cool look for him! Does anyone else think that this was just a "throw away" kind of dlc and that they are releasing bigger better stuff for when the ballot ends?

Honestly they could have just sold the amiibo and I would be fine with it. Maybe I'll ask for this for Christmas so I don't have to pay for it. I mean it could be very fun or complete crap. Still looking for a Main Wii U release for Animal Crossing

@VanillaLake I'm pretty sure the series "belongs" to Nintendo. Nintendo bought a majority of their stock for that IP so while Tecmo Koei "owns" that franchise it successfully goes to Nintendo.

Really wish NoA would actually advertise this better. It's almost October, come on this game just screams for Halloween. How can a game go far if you don't advertise? If it doesn't do well they'll blame it on being niche. When really it's their job to sell us these games.

I usually HATE how unreal engine games look and feel. From the demos and some games but This looks incredible. It doesn't look cheesy or a bad computer game like some do. This actually flows together and creates something wonderful.

Really sad, that this might/is the end of Konami for console releases. Loved Silent Hill, and absolutely loved DDR really hoping some other company can take their IPs same thing with Sega I miss NiGHTS, Super Monkey Ball and etc. I would love to see these series revived sometime.

Really interesting to look at! Obviously played the first nes one. But only being 19 years old. I really only grew up with the n64 and up. Still have yet to try/fully beat mario world. My favorite would be have to be either the galaxy series or SM3DW or he New series since playing with family is always better!

Should be downloading this tonight! I honestly forgot I downloaded the e3 demo tried it yesterday with 6 people. Everyone loved it. Such a fun idea I really like all the color references throughout the game

Really interesting article and video. Thank you! it reminds me of playing the original Animal Crossing back on the game cube. That gave me such culture shock to just about everything from the Japanese statues to the Raffle at the store. Which is almost identical. Went to the osaka pokemon center last month and did the same raffle as Tom Nook did with the balls and rolling it was really cool! That never happens where I'm from.

I was on the edge about this game but ultimately I think I'm gonna get it. I need two games to qualify for that pin set on best buy and super mario maker and this will be it! I'm just glad it's coming out in September!

@Nintendo69 I feel that way as well. I have loads of other nintendo characters that I would really like. Which my opinion seems to be very unpopular but lol. Skull Kid, Toad/Captain Toad, Chibi Robo, Paper mario, mallo etc.

I am actually excited for Happy Home Designer. However I don't like the whole card idea. Really 6 cards for idk $6? Seriously Nintendo? Also for the amiibo party if they show more and looks worth it maybe. Other than that I'll honestly buy the amiibo so I can finally have an animal crossing memorabilia

Really hoping Nintendo does something good with Bomberman, Castlevania and Silent Hill. I know the last two may be a stretch but each franchise is literally art that is just waiting to be shown, molded, crafted, and show to the player. Keeping things locked up does nothing.

I honestly wish that ranked battle didn't switch modes every other hour. I'm fine with the stages that do that but honestly the modes? It's kinda been what's keeping me from starting it up. I've been very busy and don't have time to just log in to see the current rotation

@Nintendian really? That's so strange. See I can't come to finish ALBW because I feel like the game had so much to explore and looked great in the 3d mode where your on the wall. But then they put the top down view upon it. It drives me crazy.

I love these videos and majoras mask 3d was amazing. I couldn't finish it on the n64 but loved the remake on the 3ds. Once I started it. I couldn't put I down.

Finally America gets Kirby return to dreamland. Can't find that game anywhere here, I mean you can if you wanna fork over the extra cash . Like double. Also is just Dance worth it? I'm more used to the actual dance games of dance central to where you MUST actually do the dance like footsteps correct and etc.
