Re: E3 2014: Devil's Third Confirmed As Wii U Exclusive

@Damo

That trailer has a bottom in it, as well as some bad words. Be warned!

Sarcasm? The screen grab at the top of the article also has a bottom, and no where in the body of the article is a warning served about the cuss words. I will assume this oversight is due to e3 euphoria...

Think some of the posters are missing the boat on the whole "art style" thing honestly, from what I can tell a lot of the flourish that I would associate with the Wind Waker is coming through in the animations. Just looking at stills or even the scenery I would agree, but this seems to be an attractive game in motion.

Haha! If this message was placed at the head of many a comments section, it might prepare me for what's to come.

"Wow! Look at all this total crap!" Awesome. I'm assuming you guys either meant for that or that is unfortunately well placed.

@CaviarMeths you're the one who seems to be in a "bubble" of reality, there is nothing to support your claim of good sales numbers for this entry. Retailers slashed the price in reaction to flogging sales, and I'm certain they didn't order copies to replace the sold ones.

Heres a quotation I found hilarious (in reference to Sakomoto's involvement):

Responding to criticism that was raised on the game's story, Yosuke Hayashi explained in a September 2011 interview with G4 TV that it was "definitely the product of Mr. Sakamoto at Nintendo. We definitely worked with them on the project, but that was all him."

@ThomasBW84

Oh I quite enjoyed the review portion, my comment wasn't meant to undermine your reviewing style. Final scores are too arbitrary though and invite comparison with other, dissimilar games.

The Super Dodge Ball: Advance game was pretty darn cool, beating elite teams and unlocking their players, or choosing an underrated squad for their unique throws. Sounds like I would get some mileage from the NES version as well.

Re: EA Boss Peter Moore Apologises For Frostbite's "Stupid" Wii U April Fools Prank

@wombatkidd
@JohnRedcorn - I agree

This has certainly become twisted, into another occasion to admonish fanboys and tell them how stupid they are to care about their hobby.

I don't think April Fools gives anyone license to say or do illicit things under the guise of humor. Had these tweets actually been endorsed by EA I still would have thought them strange, but instead they amount to sabotage of EA's reputation by some twit of an employee lol

Re: As The Maker Of Flappy Bird Withdraws His Creation, Nintendo Denies Any Legal Complaint

Wow, @NintendoRocket is out of his mind.

I do understand what you're saying @Squiggle55, but I feel like it's a contrived argument. Why should anyone care what somebody does with their own money - it's simply no one's business IMO. The app creator wants to walk away from a personal catastrophe, there is too much bad will generated by the whole situation. To try and channel that for good, I just think it's too late... Humble Bundle and other gaming initiatives do a great job of contributing, there's no need to ride the coat tails of the now infamous project.

Re: Renegade Kid Releases Début Moon Chronicles Trailer

@unrandomsam I appreciate what you're saying but throwing the developer under the bus just won't change the way Nintendo Life handles its coverage. The fact is Jools Watsham is a prolific developer for the 3DS; you can expect his games to appear, especially when they fill gaps in the 3DS line up. While your concerns about the quality of his offerings are valid, there is no reason to doubt his sincerity of purpose in bringing these games to Nintendo systems.
