@Fuz I'm sure it will go on sale again. Maybe it will take a little time, though. Good sales have been less and less frequent on Nintendo systems, I think and the games that go on sale are largely the same in Europe for quite some time.
@RadioShadow Google IARC
And yes, you can create a second NNID on Wii U (not on 3DS!), but I think it's understandable that I want my purchases connected to ONE NNID and not a bunch of them.
Just checked the German press release and despite the fact that IARC is now working on the eShop, which makes the rating process fast, streamlined and FREE for all countries participating (which includes Germany), we are still not getting:
-Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures
-Petit Novel Series
-Life of Pixel
-Adventure Bar Story
To the publishers of those games: You know what, don't bother bringing any of your games to Germany in the future. It's apparent you don't care about your customers here and I sure as well won't buy anything from you again.
@Tempestryke This is a Collector's item limited to 1000 units sold in Japan where merchandising is way more expensive. There are lots of way cheaper Steiff plushes available. That aside, Steiff didn't only invent the teddy bear, they still make the world best plushes. You can't compare their quality to what you can get on etsy or deviantart at all. My sister still has her Steiff cat which she got 30 years ago when she was baptised and it looks like new. I also doubt that most people on etsy know anything about the materials they use and whether or not their products contain any harmful substances or colouring.
Steiff is a 135 years old company which needs to pay people/ earn money and for which only the best materials are good enough. They are not a bunch of random dudes selling some self made stuff online as a hobby. If your standards for plushes are not as high, just buy something else. It's still good to have the option for people who care.
@ULTRA-64 That was widely misinterpreted by journalists. The program itself actually only said that you can keep using it, by registering the Wii Fit meter. It never said it wouldn't work any more after the trial period is over. As long as the program itself is still installed, it will work. You probably can't re-download it, though.
I bought it half a year ago for 4€ and because I had downloaded the free trial version when it was up, I only had to connect the fit meter to the console to basically get the whole game for free. Bargain of the year.
@sketchturner
1. It's all handmade
2. It's all handmade in Germany, not in some third world country using child labour
3. Steiff is of really high quality
4. It's a limited Collector's item
5. ...by the company which made the very first teddy bear in history
@sillygostly The digital version of the game is the same. As soon as you've purchased a total of 3000 Poké Diamonds you 'unlocked' the full version of the game, in which microtransactions are no longer a part of. Pokémon Picross works the same btw.
Could you please stop acting like this is part of the original Harvest Moon series? Long standing franchise? Back to the roots?
THIS is the second (!) game. If the German publisher of Nintendo games (before NoE was a thing) suddenly decided to make its own Mario games, it wouldn't be part of the legacy, it would be a fraud - and so is this.
@Waninoko Now that you told me this, I remember a NL article about the situation in Poland. I'm sorry, it's that bad there. :/ I noticed the contact information on your homepage was from a Czech company, but thought it was your local distributor for all Nintendo stuff and also responsible for providing costumer service. For as long as the situation is like this, I'd still always contact NoE in Germany directly. I'm sure you can write to them in English and I know they can transfer accounts easily (and do so). The question is, if they also do it if you are from a country where Nintendo products aren't officially distributed. But honestly, I can't think for a reason, why they wouldn't. You are, after all, still a paying customer.
You guys forget that those are Europe-wide discounts. The UK is one of Nintendo's worst markets within Europe, which is why their games tends to get cheap pretty quickly, there. That's not the case in most of the rest of Europe, though.
That aside, they should update their currency conversion rate. The € prices are a lot more attractive than the ones in £.
@Waninoko Well, I get that that's frustrating, but I don't understand why you did contact Nintendo UK?! First of all there are contact details on the polish Nintendo website (I just looked it up); secondly, even if there were no direct contact person within your region, you should contact Nintendo of Europe and not Nintendo UK. Nintendo UK has nothing to do with Poland, Nintendo of Europe is responsible and I'm sure they would have fixed this (at least they did for me in the past).
@Grumblevolcano Games are already tied to accounts. The sole problem is, that those accounts are also tied to hardware and Nintendo is the only one able to do a transfer in case you don't have the old and new piece of hardware on hand. Iwata confirmed last or two years ago on an Investor's meeting, that accounts won't be tied to hardware any longer, though. So if Nintendo didn't change its plans, it's safe to assume we will gain full control over our accounts.
@Dimitk0o It works automatically as soon as you put three Nintendo games into your basket (excluding pre-orders, though even those worked in the beginning). Like most other local retailers with online stores, they don't ship internationally unfortunately. Sorry! :/
@KTT The NNID is a unified account system and if your console breaks it takes literally one call to connect it with a new one. You don't lose any of your games, so stop spreading lies.
@MitchVogel "via destructoid.com" I've sent NL an e-mail regarding the European release of Story of Seasons four days ago, hours after NoE issued the press release and before destructoid even wrote about it. Just sayin'.
@riChchestM This one. This is the original and the other one is terrible.
@Yomerodes No, they can't use "Harvest Moon" as a name, since Natsume owns this brand name worldwide. They've always been indirectly involved with the European releases, which is why it was used in the past.
The game is called "Story of Seasons" here, just as in the US.
So, Story of Seasons is finally arriving in Europe on January, 8th and apparently no one cares. I even wrote an e-mail yesterday to NL and they didn't even bring a news. We can forget about the Popolocrois crossover, if not even the main series manages to cause some buzz. -.-
@mookysam I'm pretty sure Nintendo publishes them, as both games got German names in the German direct, which indicates the game will be translated into German, which Square Enix wouldn't do. Not for these games anyway.
@Dr_Lugae NoE does all the translations simultaneously. It doesn't take more time to translate a game in five different languages by five different translation teams at the same time than doing only one translation by one team.
Besides, Europe often enough got text heavy games months before the US, like the last Prof. Layton game (and the spin-off) or Bravely Default.
@Volke93 Kimishima is not president of NoE. And why would he insist to launch 3DS Nintendo Selects in Europe, instead of launching something similar by himself in Japan?

@zool What a ridiculous statement.
Re: Code Of Princess And Yumi's Odd Odyssey Studio Agatsuma Is No More
@LinkSword No, I'm from Germany (and only have a PAL system). But if you are right I was misremembering or thought of another game, I guess. :/

@Fuz It was quite often on sale, actually.
Re: Super Mario Maker Updates Set to Continue, Along With More Mystery Mushroom Outfits
It's basically free marketing. I really don't see why celebrities would want money for it. On the other hand, I really don't miss them either, so...
Re: Bravely Second End Layer Is Coming To Europe In February
@Kolzig If you don't mind importing:

You'd have to live with the giant ass USK logo, though.

Are these event courses (and their costumes) only available for a limited time? Don't have time to play this for the next weeks unfortunately.
