Nintendo is doing 24 special offers for the 24 days of Christmas, and today's deals include a pretty sweet bargain for fitness lovers.
The Wii Fit U Meter - which works in conjunction with the game to track your physical activity outside of the home - is on sale for £3.99. It's available in red, black and green, and you'll need to purchase the game separately to use it.
Speaking of which, the game, Balance Board and Wii Fit Meter are also on sale for £39.99 - quite a saving on the RRP of £79.99.
Elsewhere, some of the offers have carried over from yesterday - so that 2DS with New Super Mario Bros. 2 and a T-Shirt is still going for £79.99.

I actually bought this when it came out (I know), and I can say quite honestly its the best version so far. It's ridiculous fun. But I guess the casual console craze had moved on by then.
Remember though, no free shipping if it's under £20.
I recommend the Wii Fit Meter to anyone trying to get in shape. As of February I've lost 48 pounds and I have to admit playing Wii Fit U and using the Fit Meter was a BIG part of it.
I really liked Wii fit U when I trialled it on release and this offer IS decent........however i have no interest in the meter really
@Clamango well done mate, that's allot of hard work you've put in there!!
I bought it half a year ago for 4€ and because I had downloaded the free trial version when it was up, I only had to connect the fit meter to the console to basically get the whole game for free. Bargain of the year.
@scamander that's great, I thought you had to connect the meter when the trial was first on to get the full game for free though!?!
@TruenoGT
I actually checked the Nintendo Ebay store yesterday, and got it for $25. For anyone who is interested, here's the link:

@ULTRA-64 That was widely misinterpreted by journalists. The program itself actually only said that you can keep using it, by registering the Wii Fit meter. It never said it wouldn't work any more after the trial period is over. As long as the program itself is still installed, it will work. You probably can't re-download it, though.
I did a bit of digging and found this:

If any of you are able to test this out, I would appreciate it.
I already have a balance board and the trial installed on my system (never launched it), but I don't know anyone who bought the pedometer/fit meter, so I can't test it for myself.
If Nintendo had used the 3DS pedometer, or even created a 3DS separate app, I would've jumped on the bandwagon sooner.
@OfNullAndVoid I just bought it yesterday, too! I can't wait to try it a week from today... Okay, I guess I have no choice but to wait.
Also, I haven't tried playing Punch-Out!! with the Balance Board, so hopefully that'll be enjoyable.
@shinesprite
I bought the wii fit u meter early this year for £5 on ebay and had the trial version of wii fit U on my wii U. The unlocking still worked and now i have the full digital version. I thought it would only work during the trial period but it will still unlock it as long as you have the original trial version whilst it was still in the e-shop
I got the wii fit u box set on nintendos ebay store with free shipping that included this, the game and the balance board for 25 bucks. There are still a few left too.
... And even less than a Little Mac (amiibo), too!
@shinesprite The Wii Fit Meter does so much more than the PokeWalker! It can track temperature, altitude, calories, and intensity. Nintendo's pedometers have been proven to be some of the most accurate on the market.
If anyone's been thinking about Wii Fit U, go for it. People see the minigames and assume it's nothing but that, but it will show you exactly how to do so many bodyweight exercises and encourages you to keep going.
I still have the Wii Fit U trial installed so ordered a meter in the hopes it'll unlock the full game still, if not I guess I'll just pony up the asking price. It was fun and I did actually loose weight with it.
Of course I had to make it £20 for free shipping so I had no choice but to add some Amiibo cards to the order. I mean, it was the only way!
Bought this for my wife recently at Target on clearance for $4.98. I had purchased one for her when it released but she lost that one. She doesn't use the game at all anymore but she still checks her steps, and it's fun to look at the charts when we go on long car ride vacations.
I haven't seen them for a while though for anybody who might still be interested, sorry.
@megamanlink : That's a nice surprise. Looks like you've bagged yourself quite a sweet deal there.
Just my luck, I recently went to Florida as never left the UK before and my meter which I have had since day one got sucked down the toilets in Universal! Litttlerally wish thesecwerevin deal before I ordered my replacement, but still I paid £6.99 so I presume after Nintendo charge postage I think I did good, oh and I hate auto flush suction toilets lol I was more annoyed about my data I burned over 1500 calories on the International Drive in one day and lost the data
My wii fit u meter broke after a month. Was pretty disappointed.
I'd rather the Big Mac meal
Grabbed the Wii Fit U package deal after I looked down and saw my gut.
I love the WII Fit Meter.
I love competing the walking and altitude maps.
I sadly haven't lost weight due to medical and medicine issues.
Thankfully I bought my second one for $7 at Best Buy last year on sale.
I often see them brand new at Goodwill here in the US for around seven or eight bucks (buying out the stock that Target couldn't sell).
@OfNullAndVoid: Hey, thanks for the link, I just grabbed one myself. The shipping is free, but they do hit you for sales tax. There's still 18 left in stock after buying mine if anybody is wondering. $25 + tax is a steal, the next best price on ebay is $44.99 shipped. Grab this deal while it lasts.
