Re: Xbox Title Ori And The Blind Forest Is Making The Leap To Switch Next Month

N1ntendodo

A bit recently, I went ahead for the Game Pass Ultimate deal after getting an XB1. I did all of that because I wanted to thank MS for all that they are doing with Ninty. For what MS folk are planning to do, Im happy to help them out and make this Ninty/MS partnership blossom. I have no problems with MS trying to extend their services as a brand to Nintendo than a competitor, especially if it helps make a good impression over at Japan, which sales in the past there are problematic.

Re: Crash Team Racing Will Soon Allow Players To Buy Wumpa Coins With Real Money

Let me put this as clear yet concerning as possible.

Pay to win players have the money to pay for microtransactions for whatever they want and all they have to do is sit down and watch. A lot of money. Easy to win. Easy to do. So easy to get what you want. REAL easy. Avoids the time and challenge.

Now, zealous complainers of microtransactions have plenty of words in their mouths to say like the wallets of pay to win players and all they have to do is sit and watch. Easy to win. Easy to do. So easy to get what you want. REAL easy. Avoids the time and challenge.

It has become apparent to me recently that you folks are IRONICALLY becoming the very thing you dislike. You may think you got a good grip against microtransactions, but no, microtransactions got YOU. Ethics talks and stuff like that are only effective if they are tried and tested THOROUGHLY, not through something that are practically common resources. The world of video games and its glory are not built on common resources through money and affordably cheap words in quality and quantity, but rather through the wonders, innovations, and accomplishments of challenges. That is the gaming world I enjoy and I really hate to see players in this state who are slowly becoming entangled in an ever losing battle, when both sides now see there’s a bump in the road, like a speed bump at a parking lot, and they just stop and not go over it, because they want the experience to be easier and faster like the vehicles they drive on to get to their destination. Nobody wins in this, I realize.

Now, Activision, when compared to Fortnite Battle Pass, are clearly not doing enough if getting money is their supposed purpose. This is easily avoidable if you do not want to pay, especially if they serve no competitive value or can be easily obtained through reasonable grinding, which I can see from my experience in comparison to Fortnite, it is reasonable.

Very recently, there was a Fortnite article, even shown here in NL, about the $3 million winning 16 year old World Cup Champion. People came over to say good things about it, despite their dislikes about Fortnite. How amazing Fortnite has gone far. Despite the barrage of discontent and despising, it has grown to a respectable force in the gaming world. Everyone involved rose to the challenge and out came winners, from the developers to the winning high school students in the World Cup. They put their noses to the grindstone and saw the world fleshed out before their eyes. It is those kind of people we respect.

The world is ever changing and its those who take the challenges who then become winners. A world without microtransactions? I don’t mind. But these days, maybe complainers ought be transported to the 80s and 90s where difficult challenges in small packages are in place of microtransactions and lets see if they can afford by their words from their wallets.

I will take the challenge.

And I won’t stop doing that.

Usually, microtransactions are a hot topic issue, but I noticed something peculiar about this whole thing that takes the wind from your breaths and make you back off on your argument of this for your sakes. Hear me out.

If I’m to summarize this in one sentence... You just crossed into Fortnite territory without even realizing.

Characters are nice and are the thing to go for, usually and even for me. But performance wise, WHAT do they even bring to the table? Look at the stats shown of each character according to their class in the character selection menu, any difference much? Very VERY little, if any, and none of them are game breaking if they do differ in the slightest. And a good chunk of us are still learning the karting mechanics here. Its a different beast to MK8. Karts are found to be the same as characters, but with no stats. So, all in all, you are arguing over SKINS which add NOTHING competitive to the game. Do you have any idea how much of this zealous stance is driving you into in this case at your own expense? There are similar things here that are said about kids in Fortnite and parent gamers have to step in and say no to the things that dont really add to the game. If the actual value of the things we want is arguably less than the evil of microtransactions, let them go. In this particular case, just grind for the characters like we usually do.

All things considered, I am very surprised to see the complainers practically in league with Fortnite players fighting for the things they want, even if the items they want are valued dirt cheap. The price for them? The time you put your nose to the grindstone.

Re: Pearl And Team Chaos Win The Final Splatoon 2 Splatfest

I was expecting the predictable Marina camp to win and, like I said before, the devs were watching even before the final Splatfest. I was with Chaos. Now I’m just happy to see the predictability factor just broken in the end. I dont care what the future holds or what we all might end up doing in 3. This Splatfest was the place where its nothing held back. Excellent work, Chaos, and Order, you’re a good competitive bunch too.

Also, since the Squid Sisters made up with a fresh start in the story, glad I can get Callie a win as a Team Marie supporter in 1. Everybody wins! Squid Sisters rules!

Life for some of us can be rough. Did anybody expect it would be served for you on a silver platter so easily? It may be an imperfect product, but Ill still buy it for the experience and to fill the void in time. Also, a lot of people seem to overlook one thing... If SwSh don’t satisfy in the end, then have you really forgotten about the one thing people been hyping for that could satisfy better... the Sinnoh remake?

@Lordd_G As a 28 year old gamer who majored in accounting in college, I picked up some sense of skill and insight to what’s going on. It just feels good to me to listen and pay attention to certain things. After all this time, I do feel like a professional in reading gaming news and seeing considerable possibilities instead of being a near sighted uncultured junkie who looks only after himself.

For a long time, us Nintendo fans had been looking and asking MS to return the Banjo franchise to us for just not using them right... But we would never have expected back then that MS would approach us with Minecraft at first and then slowly build up a relationship with us like this. Not only we got Banjo back in the deal, but, basically speaking, MS is offering themselves along with Banjo and Rare. Also, with MS wanting to become a brand than a serious console competitor, we are in a prime position. With an opportunity like this, I am very happy that we can welcome MS in bringing in their games to us and we can help them establish a good presence in Nintendo and Japan down the road. It would be wise to ask for their input and assistance in online infrastructure and in making our next gen system so we can make sure everything works for all of us involved.
