Re: New Patent Sparks Talk of Potential NX Details

N1ntendodo

I just said my stuff about this back at NintendoEverything, but yeah this might be somehow tied to the fabled Fusion concept. The console part may NOT be COMPLETELY digital, as it would rely on the handheld device/ handheld cartridge or disc (maybe GameCube-like) to get the game data displayed in HD. A handheld game that can now be playable on a console? Definitely Fusion worthy.

Re: Talking Point: Considering the Future of Nintendo Direct and Beyond for Reaching Old and New Fans

N1ntendodo

Directs must continue and it's about time for one right now. I noticed a regular pattern has been established during their course: two months apart max. The latest exception was the April Fools Direct, which the time before that Direct left us HYPE DRY, yet the content made up for that time greatly! If it reaches September, expect a big deal of content from the next Direct!

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Game Updates and DLC Are Fantastic, Albeit Starved of Attention

N1ntendodo

MK8 DLC FOR DAYS.
Smash DLC, stages and characters are the real deal.
Splatoon, it is fine. It's just more and more of the same thing. Splat this, splat that. Would having it all on launch really make a big deal? There'd be more people dropping out that way, because nothing new gets out. Talk about hype dry there. They HAVE to lock it to keep interest going. Also, some development time is needed anyway, for some things.

Re: Exclusive: Project CARS "Simply Too Much For Wii U", Developer Now Waiting On New Nintendo Hardware

N1ntendodo

This might stoke the "third parties are afraid of Nintendo, because its fanbase doesn't much tolerate their games on systems due to their thriving on high quality" down the road. And you know what? All the third parties that crossed against Nintendo and its fanbase are going to get it now. We should make them fear us even more and MAKE THEM SWEAT about even thinking developing with Nintendo. Be very vocal about it. This ain't about pride, but they sure will be given a warning before they try. So, this is a case of the need for a stronger identity. Be very hard on third parties so when like Project Cars even comes to Nintendo's next system and it fails, we WILL laugh about it for the low quality game it may as well be. (Not laughing if its high quality.) We will not be seen as pushovers. This will send a fearful message about us. There are plenty of reasons why it's known Nintendo has strong first party games as well as great indies now in the mix, so, even if they refuse to develop for Nintendo, we will make them show respect to the company and fanbase. Once they fear us, the fanbase won't be used ever again like that. So you know, I do own a PS3 and PS4 as my good alternatives AND I do acknowledge that we do need GREAT third party titles in the NX's library. Also, the Wii U's weak sales did its part of the problem, I know.

Re: Ubisoft Launches Its eShop Summer Sale in North America

N1ntendodo

Got my eye on Child of Light, but I guess I can wait for next week, which the sale still goes on... Why? I just went to my GameStop to resolve a dilemma involving a missing Street Fighter V beta code and I did get it... As well as a King Dedede Amiibo that was there! There are three rare Amiibos left for the taking. Ness, Wario, and Charizard.

Re: Editorial: Satoru Iwata Embodied The Playful Brilliance of Nintendo, and His Legacy Will Endure

N1ntendodo

Come tomorrow, a new day will begin. What happened... was indeed a wake up call and made us stop and think. Come tomorrow, we will move forward to the future, knowing what we must do. Every step we take now will be with purpose. Iwata's ideals will not be in vain and we will make sure it doesn't. Let's have fun and see fun in the games we see. Remember this as our new Nintendo president comes forth, whoever he is.

Re: Editorial: Satoru Iwata Embodied The Playful Brilliance of Nintendo, and His Legacy Will Endure

N1ntendodo

Whatever happens next, we can and must be sure to carry on Iwata's ideals, as he was a gamer at heart and he was about making fun times in gaming. As Nintendo's fanbase, we must carry these thoughts into the future. You might want to rethink about Federation Force, in light of the events transpired. Put them in the light of Iwata's ideals and now what do you see of Federation Force? Yet another fun game that we can enjoy and further create and temper bonds, despite our initial thoughts.

Re: Tributes and an Outpouring of Respect Are Shared in Honour of Satoru Iwata

N1ntendodo

I just drew $50 to my EShop account and bought Lego City Undercover as a tribute to Iwata. I may be nearly completed the game and originally did on disc, but now I'm downloading it. Curious, anyway, to see how the data will be affected. Will I start anew or continue where I left off? Doesn't matter anyway. This is for a special occasion. $50 to Nintendo in remembrance of Iwata.

Re: Poll: What Do You Want From Nintendo's NX Platform?

N1ntendodo

@Aromaiden but the Wii U isn't really a hybrid. Did anyone forget their merging of the console and handheld divisions earlier? Once the hybrid comes out, that's it. No more second unit like a 3DS, because it's part of the hybrid. Ergo, rest of the effort can be used more to make games.

Re: Poll: What Do You Want From Nintendo's NX Platform?

N1ntendodo

I voted for the hybrid, because it's the greatest way to deal with the great complaints that many of you seem to forget here... Game droughts. Also, it would help to take your console game on the go as one unit, unlike PS4 and Vita. They have their sights on the mobile market, so, unless they are confident they can bring out more power, they are trading power for the masses in the NX. Bringing the mobile market to our consoles is key and to do that, indicators say they got something in mind. Inspired by Steam, digital sales rising than retail... Good signs.

Re: Editorial: Nintendo's Strategy Needs to be Global, With a Western Touch in the Boardroom

N1ntendodo

@Bolt_Strike No, mobile gaming is what overtook console gaming in popularity, all over the world. So, Nintendo has that in mind and is surely pursuing the masses than being in the power race with Sony and MS, so they can try to gain more money from the kids and casuals, while converting them to their consoles for more money. It's more easier to get them than persuading fanboys of other consoles or other types of hardcore gamers that are difficult to gain.As I said before, the company and fanbase is interested in the mobile to console initiative.
