Things are going to get real nasty at the very end of these Splatfests. I even read some of the responses if the other side won one time. Flaming and possibly even toxic. It will be very bad news, if the winning streaks for Marina continue, cuz Pearl will likely burst and maybe even call Marina out her identity.

The date and place of the NA Smash and Splatoon Finals at PAX East when its close to April makes me wary of a Joker tease there.

You know what? I think regional variants should be introduced and represented from 1 or 2 gens in a current gen mainline Pokemon title. No sense to go all out and have nothing in the end. So, I say regional variants of Johto, Hoenn, and/or even Sinnoh (in anticipation of the Sinnoh remake) should do.

@gloom @justin233 Alolans, or rather regional variants, is the one thing that is unique among those gimmicks and should continue. No powerups, just different typings. This is pretty much the fanmade Delta typing in official form.

I used to have an XBox 360, but couldn’t financially continue the support as my money at the time as a teen/college man did not satisfy, so I stuck with Sony and Nintendo. I was left speechless of what they did. They did what some people would dream of, seeing Pokemon if they were irl. Im impressed at the designs and detail they put in to make those dreams come true, and now Id love to hug that Pikachu. My Discord buddies and I have been thinking what other Pokemon could like as well, with how they are portrayed. Gardevoir could look excellent with her elegance, Primarina would look great in an opera setting, all the canine and feline Pokemon you can think of, Eevee and the Eeveelutions, and more... This art direction has SOOO much potential of pure IMAGINATION, I wish I could see more of it with the other Pokemon. I daresay, this has set the standard on what a liveaction video game movie would look like, transferring what they can from the OG source to live action. With the Sonic movie coming up, I am curious as to what Sonic looks like. Other movie ideas I can think of in this manner... How about Metroid, Star Fox, or even Zelda? Anyway, a good first ambitious attempt and kudos to make this No 1 trending on YT, which beats even Toy Story 4. If there are more Pokemon movies like this in the future, I wouldnt mind seeing a live action story featuring Red and his journey throughout Kanto.

Sadly, its going to be rougher, now that I know recently that the Chinese government want to limit playtime to 1-2 hours for everyone under 18. They want to curbstomp on video game "addiction", because they are disgusted with the unproductivity they see.

After seeing Miyamoto do those Pikmin shorts a while back, this will be very interesting. The feelings before this movie's release are kinda like before we watched the Pikmin shorts, but with added anticipation.

@SKTTR Sorry, but that sounds like an "ends justify the means" approach and sounds too convenient for it to be an honest statement. You can put in a Goomba and even that sounds more deserving than a Pirahna Plant, since its the very first enemy you come across in the first Super Mario Bros. And Im sure there would be a nice moveset for Goomba, too. But, to the point, you seem to want to trash somebody for having an expectation. Not cool.

Some say Pirahna Plant is revenge against Waluigi supporters, but thats dumb, even if that were true. The bigger target of Sakurai's wrath is the leakers who dared to ruin our fun of surprises, I believe. He snapped at them like a Pirahna Plant. And if the leakers continue, Sakurai might pull out other unpopular characters into the mix... Like Tingle. Furthermore, if theres anything to rage about, Im considering its a WASTED slot, when any other fighter should be in.

Heres a thought against cloud gaming. Suppose a tornado came about and knocked out your power, to say the least of damages. To get through the hard times, you would be happy to have something to keep your mind ticking. Now, you may have a backup generator, and you got power back, but no wifi... This is where I say no to cloud gaming. NOT HELPING BETTER AT ALL IF YOU WANT TO KEEP ON GAMING OFFLINE.

Im anti political, ever since I declared myself unfit for political talk, because its not me. Even if I was somehow involved, Id rather watch from the sidelines and learn the ebbs and flows of both sides, NEVER to participate one of two sides so blindly. Im a gamer, thru and thru, and gamers are real human, because we sought to escape the real world, since the early days of gaming. Since then, I see that gaming has become the last sanctuaries of humanity, because of what we can do in the world that we created, and I see the potential in our atmosphere to do what politics cannot do. WE and we ALONE get to decide for ourselves when to stop and what to play. My real vote is to vote for myself and the polling stations wont have my vote.

They had the means of making Birdo a trans or whatever throughout all the regions in this day and age, AND THEY BLEW IT with the continuation of this mess. Birdo is just straight up female by default, like how the Solo movie's Lando "pansexual" issue was settled. Poorly handled. Again, they had the opportunistic means, but they failed. Now, a simple "make Birdo trans" move is impossible, not even with an "Ends justify the means" approach, because thats lazy storytelling.

So, if gyro controls are implemented well here, then prospects are good for when Blizzard's Overwatch would come to Switch. I do wonder how gyro controls would work there, the computer mouse is essentially the OG gyro control, but in basically 2D

All in all, I think we can wait and be patient. I do believe that the advice that a delayed game is more worth it than a rushed one applies here. Its not even HD remastered for it be up to date and for sale.

You know what? I think the solution is easy and simple from here. Keep the review scores, but please do add in the systems that Eurogamer has been using. Declaring what is Recommended or even Essential along with the numbered scores should be a standard that informs and caters to all audiences.

@TheMadPolarBear I encoutered frame issues too when its down to the final stretches of 50v50 with gyro controls on. So yeah, Im forced to have no gyro, but have gotten a hang of stick controls since then. Really need to fix the framerate issues with gyro when theres so much action happening

I had an inkling (no pun intended) about seeing those many Octo level vids. Thought they were spoilerish, I wanted to tackle them by myself. I was right that if they were giving away that much info, theyd have to make a smooth transition to the Octo Expansion and that can only happen around E3 time, and they did. So happy with the release time.

@rjejr Did you forget? From what was shown in the past Direct trailer, any DLC characters and such are obtained by participating in those tourneys. Why would we pay an "entry fee" just to compete for those things?

Another way to look at this news is that Nintendo is aware of those people that are predetermined to call the Switch a handheld than a hybrid. Nope, this is Nintendo's response. Its console days live on in the Switch and the handheld division just goes for a big boost.
