Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Sticks With Mario Kart 8 Through 2023, But What About Switch?

Moroboshi876

Would it be bad? I mean for a company to keep supporting its current system and not having a 4-5 year cycle. Would be nice for a change.

Having said that, I'm disappointed that Switch is not getting its own Mario Kart, nor a second main Mario entry (who knows, but after Odyssey turning 5 next month I would've expected at least a tease in the last Direct). And I begin to believe that BOTW2 will be a next system's launch title. It was initially said to be due for Christmas 2020, and the Direct should have confirmed its final release date, yet didn't. Something is smelly here.

Re: Cruis'n Blast Gets A Permanent Price Cut On The Switch eShop, Now Only $19.99

Moroboshi876

@Gwynbleidd You totally misinterpreted me. I was sad for the game, thinking that the price cut was due to low sales, being a great title. It turns out that's not the case.

I think no digital game should cost as much as a physical copy of the same game, and in this case the physical copy could be found cheaper than that, so its digital price was, to me, ridiculously high. And that goes for Nintendo and its first-party games too.

Re: Review: Windjammers 2 - Sweaty, Strategic, And Better Than The Near Perfect Original

Moroboshi876

I guess the excellent new style - pixels toggle on Wonder Boy was a one time thing, sadly.

Anyway, still unclear about how it is a second part and not a Windjammers remastered, but of course I'm going to get it. Please anyone give it a proper physical release this time, not just stricly limited / limited run edition with all the bells and whistles and at least a standard version in order to keep it affordable given that it's ultimately an arcade title.

Re: The Taito Egret II Mini Is Getting A Western Release

Good thing this time they said it before launch. I got my Astro City Mini from Japan.

Now let's hope it's not SLG who releases it in Europe, this way there's a chance it ends up on Amazon.

If not, I'll get it from Amazon Japan, which makes you pay customs in advance anyway, so you can forget about bad news when it arrives to your country.

Re: Arcade Paradise Will Play On Our '90s Nostalgia Next Spring

Moroboshi876

Looks exciting, but while I salute the fact that they're releasing it physically too (and that they're announcing it before launch, which is a whole different story), I can't understand why these indie games do have physical versions and other much more expected and by more important companies don't, such as Ghosts'n Goblins Resurrection.

Re: Shantae And The Seven Sirens Has Received A Free “Spectacular Superstar” Update

Moroboshi876

@RupeeClock Thanks for the heads-up, but sadly this is the "Asian" edition, which is available only in Play-Asia, meaning pricier, more dangerous when it comes to custom taxes, et cetera. If it was available in Amazon Japan that would be great. I'll be playing Pirate's Curse and Half-Genie Hero, and if in the meantime there's a retail edition of Seven Sirens, great. If that doesn't happen, then obviously I'll have to buy it digitally. Thanks!
