Windjammers 2 is a much anticipated release that's due to emerge from Dotemu soon. After the excellent re-release of the original game the prospect of an all-new entry, with a suitably modern visual overhaul, has a number of us plotting some multiplayer get-togethers.

Dotemu has now released a new trailer that showcases Sammo Ho and the returning Jordi Costa; you can see the description for these below:

Meet Sammy Ho, a gardener and budding star athlete hailing from China. Sammy’s mid-range agility and powerful throws make him a dangerous rival, and his special move channels a ferocious dragon’s energy for blistering shots on goal. Returning contender Jordi Costa is also bringing his court-crossing slides and mighty strength back into the action.

The trailer also makes a point of announcing the game for Xbox GamePass on console and PC, but there's no suggestion it'll be coming to those platforms earlier than others like the Switch. It's seemingly still targeting 2021, but obviously it's going to be tight for the game to make it - hopefully it's not far away.
