Nice trailers, as usual. Dang it! Sucks to wait some time longer to buy the game. ...Well, I was actually getting Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in its stead, but there are way too many games coming soon anyway.
It looks nice! Seeing as how I already have at least three GameCube controllers, getting the adapter would only be easier on me when it comes to group play. I've had this pre-ordered for quite a while now. Can't wait to finally have it in my hands when the day comes. ^^
Awesome, great review! I just did a last second pre-order on the game today while I got Hyrule Warriors. The demo is fantastic, so I'd imagine the full game will be spectacular!
Voted for Castle Siege. I always loved that stage and the music there. Fighting on that stage while listening to "Preparing to Advance" was always the best! Knowing the Wii U version will have a bunch of music, I'm excited to see what'll be available! ^^
Step 1: Spam Pikachu's thunderbolt. I guess they needed more practice, since one of my friends fell off of the stage when I did that. Apparently, he didn't like shielding because he thinks its being cowardly. Well, I guess that's why you gotta live life on the ledge, then! ...I'll stop now.
Etrian Odyssey Untold?! Well, I decided to skip out on quite a few games this year to save money, and although Etrian Odyssey IV is awesome, it took me 90 hours to finish. That, and I prefer physical copies. Gah! Now I have to decide! T.T
It certainly has! Seeing the massive amount of comments on the site and others yesterday was proof enough. I'm still a wee bit disappointed that I wasn't lucky enough to get one while reaching the qualifications, but oh well. With my usual bad luck, I'd shiver if they announced something similar for the Wii U version.
Great read! I'm really anxious to see how the game looks on-screen. I haven't seen any gameplay of the game in-person, so I have no idea how it looks like. I recall Mr. Sakurai saying something along the lines of "Web posts of the 3DS version doesn't do it justice", so I'm a bit curious. I'm still concerned about how it feels. I've always played in a considerably rough-ish manner with Super Smash Bros., so I'm still trying to remember to be as gentle as possible. ^^'
Wow. The codes getting on ebay isn't a surprise, but it would seriously be quite strange to pay that much for a free demo. Although, I'm certain someone will buy one of 'em. Dedication, I guess. I'd give away codes if I ever got 'em. Knowing my friends, they just might get bored and toss 'em away soon.
Wow! This is the most amount of comments I've ever seen on this site! I thought the last Club Nintendo demo thing wouldn't be surpassed. I met the requirements, but I didn't get one. It's a bummer, since whenever they do this kinda thing, I never get lucky! Oh well. Time to pretend the demo doesn't exist for another week.
Nice! I think I'll consider getting it. Then again, I should probably consider getting Triple Deluxe soon. I just need to finish that backlog of games I have.
Sounds good to me! I haven't played Block Drop U, but I'm certainly interested in Twisted Fusion. I've been keeping my eye on it ever since its Kickstarter.
Wow, I didn't think something like this would spark so much complaining. I can't say I agree with the opinion, though. It is a bit odd in a Mario game, sure, but seeing as how that kind of thing doesn't come in often, it's pretty wacky in its own way. Don't worry, the magic is still there.
This is probably my favorite update. I've always loved the music the Super Smash Bros. series has to offer, and video game music in general. Now I'll have to decide whether to play normally or listen to the music on long trips.
...Oh. So those are the rewards. Well, I already have some of those games, seeing as how they helped me reach platinum status in the first place. The rest of them are ones I don't care for or would have gotten already if I wanted 'em. I'll just get one of those large retail games and give it to a friend or something. I wish they had offered something unique instead. Ya'know, something the average consumer can't get.
You know, after about a year's worth of detailed surveys and registrations. Oh well. I wonder what the rewards will be next year.
And wow, look at all of the comments! o_O
The tournament was great! Oh geez. Axe's Pikachu kept me outta my chair! I get all hyped up just thinking about that match! The end was pretty emotional. Sad to see a great commentator retire, but it definitely isn't goodbye forever.
"...he’s one of my best friends..." I must have been living under a rock or something. I never knew. It's nice to see their thoughts on the game, and I'm glad they're not as ridiculously dismissive as some that I've seen as of late. In So Cal.? Sweet! I'll probably force myself to stop being lazy and go to one if it's not too far. I don't usually go to tournaments, so that needs to change.
@Cresartist Agreed. It's like how many say that video games cause violence. If anything, I have never understood child pageants. I find them cringe-worthy...but aside from that, if something like that is allowed, then I don't see why an artistic medium, that uses characters that do not represent actual people, needs to be enforced as such.
The inclusion of these rules in anime, comics, and video games probably isn't necessary. Using Senran Kagura Burst, for example, it's set in a fictional world. A game such as that shouldn't encourage child abuse. There's a fine line that separates fiction from reality. It'd be best to take a moment and see that line, for people that do act on this sort of thing. As far as its content goes with the whole nudity thing, I wouldn't say it's any form of child abuse. Ninja females with supernatural strengths =/= female children. The ideas of all of these scantily-dressed females and whatnot transition to a topic that can relate. As tasteless as I see way too many over-sexualized characters, there's no reason to limit one's creativity with such a law. Now, actual child abuse images, of course, were rightfully removed.
I'm not surprised at all that the images weren't real. However, I'd love it if they returned those two battle modes. I loved Bob-omb Blast to death in Double Dash. Shine Thief was a close second. Heck, give us actual Battle Arenas and I'll be even happier.
Voted for the first Mushroom Kingdom U stage. It looks like it might be viable in tournament play, and with how much of a Mario fan I am, and how beautiful New Super Mario Bros. U looks, I'm excited for that stage! ...And I reeeally want that Van Gogh-inspired swamp background to make it in. I love that one!
Child of Light for me. Words cannot express how much I love that game! Once I finish the backlog of games I have yet to finish, I'll probably start over with Child of Light.
Great interview! I really hope she gets even further with her awesome musical talents. I, in a way, can relate. Video game music is actually what got me into playing the piano in the 7th grade, and from there, I learned as much as I could by just using internet videos and midis. I really hope to make a career out of something I love as well, and music is just one of them! I'm definitely not an amazing musician myself, but I know I'll get there with enough knowledge and practice. "Once I was able to start ignoring the negativity, I became a lot more independent and introspective because I stopped caring about what other people thought of me and focused on how I felt about myself. It helped me find real value in the people and activities that made me happy in life and to stop caring about the people who made fun of who I was and what I liked to do, and that was an incredibly empowering feeling...please just focus on what you love about yourself and what makes you happy in life and just forget about the people who try and bring you down." I love this paragraph! Bullying is part of what made me who I am. I'm thankful that I've gone through it so often, because I now know what's best to think of myself. It's why I'm always so serious about that kind of stuff and why I don't let it step a foot in the presence of those I care for. All in all, this is probably my favorite Ninterview. Splendid choice! ^^
There are quite a few amazing Wii U games so far! However, I'd probably say that Mario Kart 8 is my favorite out of that bunch. Usually, it's the games with the most replay value that make me love them so much more.
Well, what do you know? At the time of writing, I managed to get second place! I would've gotten first if it weren't for the first half of my races. Those were pure torture!

@Swiket That was too funny.

@Maximal_OPrimal Yeah. I guess the release isn't so far away, so I guess I can wait a little longer to keep that first-time surprise factor in.
