And some thermal paste (your choice of brand).
Replace the shell on the Switch and replace the analog stick and clips/latches on the JoyCons. Reapply the thermal paste when you put the Switch back together and it'll feel like a brand new system.
Trust me, it's not dying, it's just the case falling apart. I've done all this myself and my launch Switch feels literally brand new.

"I don't know why Nintendo did it, and I don't know why anyone would do it. A should be bottom, B should be on the right, X should be along the X-axis on the left and Y should be on the Y-axis on the top. Can we make button layouts make sense or atleast standardized"

Nintendo did it first with the SNES so anything since then has been a deviation.

"Wow, Sakurai is really ignoring his fanbase.
Literally the only people who wanted that dead game guy are 30 year old virgins.
Also as I expected, the move set is as bad as possible, only some punches, duck-I mean bird attacks and nothing more.
Dissapointment 1000"
No, the people who wanted this character are people who experienced the N64 while it was new. Banjo Kazooie is one of the best games on the system and arguably better than Mario 64 in many ways.
Are those people thirty-somethings? Absolutely. Most of us have families at this point.
I get your perspective. I just wanted you to know how things actually are so you're more informed next time you comment.

Re: Melee Player 'Hungrybox' Backs EON GameCube HDMI Adapter

@Dayton311 "I read this article 3 times and I still don't understand a word of it...."

One of the most famous professional Super Smash Bros players is endorsing an adapter that plugs into the back of launch GameCube consoles to output HDMI.

He also hosted a tournament using this technology which previously was unthinkable due to game breaking lag when HDTVs upscaled the signal from the original video cables.

Re: Check Out 20XX, A Roguelike Inspired By Mega Man X That Could Be Coming To Switch

Mechageo

This is one of my favorite Steam games and I'm glad it's finally getting the recognition it deserves. It's a simultaneous co-op version of Mega Man combined with Diablo. Basically, randomized loot/gear with randomized levels. The physics are identical to X4 through X6 and you can play as both X and Zero (Different names and designs of course).

It's really a blast when played local co-op. I hope it does come to Switch. I'll probably buy it again.

""With a team of 4-5 people"
Jeez, that's some commitment. They must have 1 person locked in a basement working on Virtual Console and another person working on a web browser."

Any decent development team will have several different roles including developer, manual tester, automation engineer, UX/graphic designer, someone to gather research and feedback, etc. That many people for one team isn't that surprising considering how robust the feature is.

Re: The SNES Classic Mini Uses the Same Hardware as the NES Mini

@rjejr "So your telling me since NES Mini production stopped 7 long months ago they've been making SNES Mini? So they'll have 70 million SNES Mini ready at launch? I doubt they've been manufacturing SNES Mini for the past 7 months, if they were they could have started putting them on sale 3 or 4 months ago."

That's exactly what I'm saying. Most reports show that there will be more SNES Mini consoles at launch than were created during the entire production run for the NES Mini.
