Re: Nintendo Announces Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee! For Nintendo Switch

LordGeovanni

@NotAceAttorney I slightly disagree with your thoughts on visible encounters. Random Encounters force you into a battle scene and give you the potential to not be able to run away. That aspect still forces you to balance your health items and Escape items. With visible encounters you know how to run away from them and how to better conserve limited potions or such. That is the aspect that I am currently worried about. But I do fully agree, visible encounters that you can see the Pokemon will completely suck.

Re: Nintendo Announces Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee! For Nintendo Switch

LordGeovanni

@UmbreonsPapa
effectively they would just be no way to stop all this movers and Packers from destroying the game like they have currently.

@Markiemania95
Part of the difficulty inherent to RPG as a genre requires grinding. The ability to pick and choose your battles directly is counterproductive to the entire purpose of the RPG genre. It is already affected the other two core RPG series. Both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest have suffered from this and a large majority of people don't care because it makes it easier for them.

Re: Nintendo Announces Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu! and Let’s Go Eevee! For Nintendo Switch

LordGeovanni

So if this is connected at ALL to the main games, Pokemon is dead.

No other way about it. Pokemon main games are currently just FILLED with cheaters. And so is Go. If you can just transfer pokemon over to this game, and this game is connected to the other games, then it is just done.

Not to mention it looks like you just catch pokemon without weakening them, or that they are on the overworld so it ruins the RPG genre... This is pure pandering garbage and I guess I will just have to stop Pokemon for good.

Re: Fancy Some SNES Classic On Your Nintendo Switch? There's A Hack For That

LordGeovanni

I actually would buy the whole set if I could digitally. I would prefer a lower price than the physical classics, but I still feel it's a good price even at the physical price currently. What I most certainly would love, if a physical switch cart had all the SNES games and/or all the NES games. Those I would pre-order as soon as possible even at the physical price of the Classics.

Re: Nintendo And Game Freak's Latest Patent Hints At A New Direction For Pokémon On Switch

LordGeovanni

Is it too much to ask that they just make up a Pokemon game? I prefer traditional RPGs and Pokemon is one of the last types. Give us a new type or two, shake up the meta. Maybe give us specific Pokemon who get 5 Moves or give us just more of what we are already familiar with.

Above All Else, give us a break from the cheaters. Ban their accounts. Stop holding the hands of cheaters and saying to them "This isn't the right thing to do" just flat out ban them and be done with it.

If you ask me, they need a Pokemon game that explores multiple regions. Maybe a game that compiles three regions together. Two that are already familiar as post-game content and one brand new one as the major focus. Give us a challenging criminal team. Give us difficult battles. Give us a rude challenging rival. Don't give us Teletubbies land like we've gotten lately.

Re: Billy Mitchell Breaks His Silence To Address Accusations Of Cheating

LordGeovanni

@cleveland124
The problem is that Twin Galaxies actually did have a verification system. Multiple people trying to defeat Billy's score had their runs invalidated for stupid reasons. 1 reasons was for using an emulator, which this rule that Billy has hung himself with, was directly caused by him trying to prevent people from using emulators to beat his score. Another rule was that the "Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong jr." cabinet was invalid for Donkey Kong arcade scores. If it's the exact same game made by the exact same publisher why would it be a concern? Billy was given special permission to avoid verification processes. That does not make Twin Galaxies look good, but efforts to correct mistakes need to be taken as they are.

There is also his level of influence over the company and the level by which he would continue to progress cheating that has to be taken into account. Claiming that this was an internal motivation to keep him at the top needs to also be addressed that he was part of the internal mechanics of the company. He funded most of the company. And no matter how you want to look at it, multiple levels of Suspicion on multiple different videos means all his videos need to be suspect. If multiple layers of cheating were found on anybody's videos I would expect the same penalty. In this case, complete void of all records. Leopards don't change their spots depending on what day of the week it is or what year it is. With proof that there was cheating done by this person, with further suspicions on other videos, with the high level of manipulation he has used, there is no other recourse.

Re: Billy Mitchell Breaks His Silence To Address Accusations Of Cheating

LordGeovanni

There's a whole lot that I want to reference so please apologies if I don't properly reply to each person.

Billy is claiming that his tapes were switched, honestly Twin Galaxies is currently saying they do have the original tapes and multiple layers of inside emails between Admins as well as exactly where each one of them got their copies of these tapes. Effectively he is trying to claim foul by a company that has supported him for the last 35 years of his narcissism. Twin Galaxies is desperate to not fall either, but that doesn't mean they are not making the right action now.
@HappyMaskedGuy the funny thing is that he actually can't just sit down and get a new record. He is now unequivocally banned from submitting any new score moving forward. If I am correct he also had his achievement score in Pac-Man erased.
@cleveland124 when a person is accused of cheating, they're normally is a very in-depth process to determine the manner by which the cheating occur. This is that long report that Twin Galaxies just made stating that while they can't prove it was MAME, they can prove that it is not an original arcade cabinet. If this was just one or two instances in games that were not highly contested they probably would just delete those scores. In such a case right now with one of the highest contended honors in video game records, they need to make more drastic punishment. Due to the amount of cheating already been confirmed, this situation justifies having all of his records wiped: even games he did live and games he did in other areas. That sounds harsh, but that is the matter that one is punished if they do substantial amount of cheating. Billy has been found to be cheating in multiple situations for his betterment to directly impede others progress.

Listening to one of my friends online, I heard the absolute best description for Billy Mitchell. Billy dress and acts like a Disney villain. He has to have the perfect dark look, he has to be the unapproachable end boss in every story. And finally, he has been found to be a villain and is being properly punished. This is the point where the Disney villain has lost and finds it unbelievable that they lost. He is a panicking old man stammering in the corner and drastically try and grip onto the power he had, the last that power turning to sand and draining away from him and he has Nothing.

Re: Dragon Quest XI Switch Port Development "Still Unclear At This Moment In Time"

LordGeovanni

@YummyHappyPills
I will be honest here, I don't know about Unreal Engine 4 all that much. Originally I was told by a Dragon Quest fan local to me that's Unreal Engine 4 on switch was a later build then the Unreal Engine 4 that built Dragon Quest 11. As he was looking at a lot of the technical details, he's now saying that the Unreal Engine 4 that Dragon Quest 11 has been upgraded to is now more advanced than the Unreal Engine 4 version switch uses and is not compatible. If that source is Right, Nintendo needs upgrade Unreal Engine 4 on switch prior to Dragon Quest 11 coming to the system.

Re: Dragon Quest XI Switch Port Development "Still Unclear At This Moment In Time"

LordGeovanni

@YummyHappyPills @rdrunner1178

Based on what I've heard recently the Unreal Engine 4 version on switch is slightly behind other versions now. PS4 has a version that's just slightly more advanced and that is what they built it in. The only thing holding up the switch port is Unreal Engine not being fully optimized for switch at this time. If they just said that from the very beginning a lot of the tensions would not have occurred. Still does not give them a single reason why they couldn't have brought over the 3DS version.

Re: Niantic Settles Pokémon GO Fest Class Action Suit With $1.6 Million Payout

LordGeovanni

@ultraraichu I do regret to say it but I have lost the source I used regarding my information. I looked for about an hour but I still can't find it and I apologize for such. I do know at least from what I remember, Verizon and AT&T flat out denied niantic's claim that Niantic inform them ahead of time. If I remember correctly, Verizon even suggested removing Pokemon go from being allowed on Verizon phones because of the suggestion that Verizon was at fault. I remember doing some more research into it because of the FCC regulation prohibiting "sponsorship". Aka, the paid prioritization Sprint did for Go and the opposite of Verizon thinking of banning it.

It actually bothers me a little I can't find my source. Sorry.

Re: Niantic Settles Pokémon GO Fest Class Action Suit With $1.6 Million Payout

LordGeovanni

A lot of people are missing why Niantic was being sued fully. Cell towers did go down due to Pokemon go. That is directly niantic's fault. Companies like Sprint and Verizon have mobile Towers they can distribute as needed for additional coverage. Because Niantic refused to inform those companies in advance that there would be a considerable draw in that area all of those companies were unable to maintain the cell service expected. This is not the same as an actor failing to perform at a concert. This is more like the concert went under repair and then expect everybody to not be upset they can't watch the show they paid for.

Either way you look at it, Niantic settled which means that they felt there was considerable case and could possibly lose more. And I agree with that opinion.

Re: Vivendi Sells Ubisoft Stock As French Publisher Forms Deal With New Investor Tencent

LordGeovanni

I don't know all that much about Vivendi, but with what I heard that would have been the end of anything new coming from Ubisoft. By what I understand only establish IPs would be pushed, they would be milked to death and destroyed, and anything that cost more to go into they would have prevented. This means that obese off would not of had another game ever publish on a Nintendo system to be honest. I don't like Ubisoft but I don't wish a death like that to them.

Re: The Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 Are Headed To Switch On 22nd May

LordGeovanni

This is ridiculously bad. Capcom does not understand their customer base whatsoever. I prefer physical and that's because of a couple reasons. Number one physical is physical I have it in my hand not theoretically on my system. 2, I can sell the game later if I wanted to. Unlikely but still possible. 3, Capcom doesn't have the ability to void my purchase down the road by removing it from an online shop. If I have to clear up space and delete the game then I end up losing the game completely if they ever remove it from the shop. I am buying a game not a pass to get access to the game.

Re: Pokémon GO Finally Lets You Dress Up As A Fisherman

LordGeovanni

I actually noticed this myself. I didn't have anybody tell me like my usual YouTuber. I think this is pretty interesting, I've been hoping that they would add some new medals actually to give me more work to work on instead of just a bonus unlock but I'm not complaining about this.

Re: Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap Gets A Physical Release On 13th February

LordGeovanni

@SLIGEACH_EIRE
But Isaac also had the DLC included. If you included all of the DLC pricing as well it came to something like $35 usd. $40 is a pretty acceptable price for a physical copy of Isaac in my opinion.

This game is $20 digital I believe? I will hope for 20 or $25 but I think I'll be happy paying even $40 honestly. I am so glad I put off buying this game in the hope there will be a physical copy. I'm going to go see if I can pre-order as soon as I can.

Re: Video: This Make-A-Wish Mario-Themed Playground Will Brighten Up Your Day

LordGeovanni

I will say that Make-a-Wish is one of those companies I've never heard a bad thing about. It sounds like they honestly really do care about making a dream come true for the kids. I can't ever be less thankful for people like that in this world.

@BigKing
I'm pretty sure they got permission from Nintendo. If I recall correctly, Nintendo actually helps and reaches out to Make-a-Wish at times as well.

Re: Capcom Explains (Again) Why Monster Hunter World Isn't Coming To Switch

LordGeovanni

I am not one who cares for Monster Hunter. It is just that simple. The problem I have with Capcom in this situation is quite clear. First they have Monster Hunter XX on Switch but only in Japan. They're not making clear why they're not localizing it for the entire rest of the world. Second while Monster Hunter World may be too technologically-advanced for Switch, they are not explaining themselves at all regarding what they will do for switch. This is a small step in that direction, saying no we have no plans to bring mon hun world to Switch is the same as saying "no we do not intend to bring it in 2019, 2020, 2021." What they need to say, however, is "We are looking into making a new Monster Hunter for Switch", or "The next Monster Hunter we will be considering Switch the entire time." Stop leaving everybody in the dark and just say what your plans are for Switch. Stop talking about what you're not giving us and tell us what you will give us, even if it is a promise of only to look into it.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@BensonUii
I want people who want to play games to play those games. If it is on a "dead unsupported system" then that is on them. It isn't me being selfish that I would like new content. Rather that they are selfish that they would prefer to be spoonfeed games they should have gotten earlier but didn't want to buy a system for.

Expecting money for the content to "speed up the creation of new games" is just laughable. If it prevents development of those games Right Now, then it is slowing them down. If they have to be made later that delays the games that would be developed Then into even further times.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@BensonUii
There are good points that you make there, but I can already see two flaws. First, it still takes some time and man-power. Therefore, it is taking time away from development of other games. No matter low little, it is redundant work (as the game is already available elsewhere) and therefore "wasted" by not being on new content games. For example, the Funky Kong gameplay is all new. But all the levels and the other existing content? They are not just dragged and dropped onto Switch. It may be shorter development time, but it is still time spent.

The second part is the "it's just a quick and inexpensive effort." It is inexpensive, but for Nintendo. Not for people who want to play the game, nor is it for people who want the new content without paying the full game again. If I want to play Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze with Funky Kong? Probably $60 just as expected. But that is something that I feel is FAR overpriced if I already have the other version. And while others who didn't get the Wii U game may want that game, they still have opportunities to buy it and therefore make this redundant as well.

tl;dr Nintendo is still wasting time and effort. That directly interferes with creating new games and therefore DOES
"stop them from making new ones" as fast.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@NinNin
You can't see a difference in me being accepting of games that I want to play not being available to me compared to others demanding games that they couldn't play? You can't see a difference between exact opposites?

I said it three times now. I am COMPLETELY FINE with the fact I can't play certain games because they are not on a system I own. I am COMPLETELY FINE with the idea that if I deide to play them I have to go buy that console I don't already own.

I am NOT FINE with people demanding games be ported to another system solely to avoid having to buy a system they don't own. While it is nice to finally be able to play a game without having that system, I find it incredibly arrogant to assume games should HAVE to be ported just so they can avoid buying a system.

If you are not able to comprehend my stance on this I don't have a way to continue this topic without repeating comments already said by myself earlier.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@NinNin
My point is that you are failing at reading my own comment.
"you want to play a game that is available on a system you don't own" Exactly. But the VERY next thing I say is "Nintendo fans have been blasted for years that if they want to play those games they need to buy those systems. I agree with that."

You also say "you don't want others who don't own a Wii U to enjoy some Wii U games as Switch ports". Well, this is true in part. I want people who don't have a Wii U to shut up about asking for more and More and MORE Wii U game ports to Switch. I also want them to actually buy a Wii U if there are so many games they want to play. I am not saying buy a factory sealed Wii U. But it isn't hard to find a Wii U. Wasting time and man-power on remaking a game that was JUST RELEASED within two or three years ago simply to pan-handle to the crying babies that refused to buy a Wii U should not be Nintendo's focus.

Here is an idea. I think it is really cool, but because it involves GameStop I am 100% certain that people will bash it regardless. GameStop has a Gaurentee regarding pre-owned merchandise. Buy a pre-owned Wii U and whatever game you want to play. Play it and return them within a week. GameStop gives you back the SAME AMOUNT that you paid for pre-owned games. This also applies to pre-owned consoles. And even IF you stall out the week of time for your money back, you can still get store credit for up to THIRTY (30) days after purchase. So you can still put that money to getting new Switch games or any game for any console or game they have.

There ARE options to be able to play those games. GameStop even flat out gives you a way to effectively "rent" games AND SYSTEMS for no cost if you give them collateral. Why should I suffer game droughts just because Switch owners that didn't get a Wii U want to play the 20+ exclusive games they didn't want to play a year or two ago?

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@Kmno
They are allowed to enjoy the games they missed. It is almost like if they buy a Wii U they can play them. But that shouldnt matter, right? Cause after all the Wii U didnt struggle due to people deciding it wasnt worth the effort. Either people want the Wii U games or they dont want the Wii U. It is simple like that.

@NinNin
I will be honest here, I don't know exactly what your point was with comment #54. My later comment, #52 directly references the difference in my views of 3rd party ports compared to 1st party.

I believe I have also detailed the difference between early ports, such as Mario Kart 8, and later ports after a year of the system being on the market. Early ports start a console off, but they will eventually pull poor efforts forward. It is the 1st party's job, Nintendo's job, to show off the newest quality first. Why should we expect great things from the "Wii U Failure's Successor" if the successor is nothing more than the dumping ground of the Wii U's greatest games?

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

I feel I should take a moment to clarify something. I am not against third-party ports directly. Third parties can utilize ports such as Dark Souls, to learn the architect of the new system and increase demand for their new games on that same system. This could be the beginning of Dark Souls 4 on Switch along with other platforms.
My negativity is solely on first-party developers, in this case Nintendo, bringing back multiple years worth of games ~five years later just to fill out a catalog that they should be making new games for instead.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@Kmno
I haven't played Final Fantasy 15. Do you want to know why? I haven't bought a system that plays it. I would like to see it come to switch, but I don't expect it to come to Switch. I also haven't been able to participate in a lot of the New Kingdom Hearts remasters. Not because I'm expecting it to come to switch, but because I don't have a system that it plays on. Nintendo fans have been blasted for years that if they want to play those games they need to buy those systems. I agree with that. Why should I watch a new system I'm hyped for be flooded with ports of last generation games that I already own simply because other people don't want to spend $100 for a Wii U now?

It works both ways. If you want to play that game, buy the system it's on. Don't come crying five, six, seven+ years later that you never got to play the game simply because you refuse to buy a system that the game was on. Even worse, you can still physically by that system. Maybe not brand new, but still purchase it because I can find an NES on this very day if I needed to.

I am tired of being told that I need to grow up if I want a game that's on another system and now I'm being told I need to grow up because I want others to have to buy into the same mentality that they forced on me.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@NinNin
You seem to mistake me for somebody that never bought a Wii U. I have already bought or had the opportunity to play all of those games. why should I be excited to play a game a second time when instead I would rather have new experiences with my brand new console? Third parties bringing ports of old games makes sense in some capacities. It allows them to learn and understand the architect of the new system and find ways to create their work
First parties like Nintendo need to stop prioritizing bringing people into games that have already been published and rather focus on making new experiences. While it does help Drive the new console to have Mario Kart, it does not help anybody that participated on the Wii U when we are getting Donkey Kong tropical freeze over a year after the system comes out. Nintendo has effectively stated they want a major retail release every month. If you include third parties, they have been succeeding and I applaud them for that. But when their contributions are half the time merely ports of an old game from A system that is already defunct I do not appreciate their efforts. Pokken Tournament was an entire month of me having nothing to play.

And I will be a serious as I possibly can but not sugar coating any of this. If you want a Wii U game to play, buy a Wii U. That mentality is the sole reason why the Wii U failed so epically.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

@SM4SHshorts for the most part I'm not against all ports. And I do feel with it's portability, Smash 4 on switch would be amazing. However facts are facts and I do agree with you that smash 5 is too far away: if it was rushed it wouldn't be good.
The one thing that's ours me though is just how many games have gotten ports. Not even so much as how many ports have gone to switch but how many ports have occurred from a Wii U exclusive game?

Super Mario Maker. Yoshi wooly World. Bayonetta 2. Donkey Kong Country tropical Freeze. Hyrule Warriors. Mario Kart 8. Pokken tournament.

Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring

LordGeovanni

Bravo to ZeRo. Always good to know when to take a step back and enjoy things a little bit more.
As for Smash 4 Deluxe or Smash 4 Switch? Can we please stop begging for more ports? I am honestly getting a bit upset that every single good game that came to Wii U people are begging to come to other systems. If you care about playing a game go get the system it's on. The Wii U is dirt cheap the games are dirt cheap and yet I still have people complaining that they didn't get a chance to play Pikmin 3 or Smash 4.
It's highly irritating that people are clamoring for more ports ports ports and I just had a Nintendo Direct come along that has two ports of games that I already own and therefore have no interest in getting again. First party should avoid porting their own games unless it's a remaster and probably at least eight years down the line.

Re: The Creator Of BioShock Applauds Nintendo For "Setting Zelda On Fire"

LordGeovanni

First, I sort of like his outreach to Nintendo, saying what a good job they did. It does still feel a little bit awkward to me however. I also do not fully share his sentiments. The art for this game was phenomenal but the audio I felt was incredibly lacking. I do enjoy the atmosphere audio but I never felt the heart-clenching fear brought about by a boss battle theme. I never wandered into a new area and just had to stop because I was listening to music for 5 minutes.
But now let me get to the focus of my comment. I hate the idea of Nintendo abandoning the atmospheric aspects of Breath of the Wild, but I absolutely hated how the open world concept damaged my enjoyment of said game. Open World is awesome, go anywhere is awesome. But I like my Zelda weapons: No hook shot, no zany weapon like the Spinner or Beetle. And the dungeons were God awful. They felt like chores. Go in touch the spot, over here touch the spot, over here touch the spot... It felt insulting. After months of thinking about this, I would have rather have had an underground under all of Hyrule where the dungeons are specific entrances are like Zelda 1. And then routes to connect each of the dungeons together like a metroidvania. I also would highly encourage Nintendo not to give me unlimited bombs like this game. Made far too many things simple to just pull out my endless bomb stock to blow stuff away.

Re: SteamWorld Dig 2 May Be Getting a Physical Release

LordGeovanni

This rumor actually upsets me. I always prefer physical because it better secures my rights. To hear this months after I dropped $20 is a bit insulting. I would have rather payed $30 to have physical.

Short answer though? I will not be buying it now if it is getting a physical release.

Re: Aonuma Wants to Keep Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Freedom in Future Games

LordGeovanni

I have not had time to read the comments so please don't berate me if I repeat or dispute something already stated.

There were two things in breath of the wild that bothered me most. First was an easy thing to mention but the infinite capabilities of using bombs was in my opinion a bit overpowered. It is a major exploration tool that has a way of being Limited in its usage and consumption but that was completely thrown out. Maybe if you could synth bombs out of materials it would be a way of controlling how many bombs you could find and use, like arrows.

The second thing is something I am critically upset about. The dungeons were incredibly lackluster. Even if I stretch the definition of a dungeon, there were only five, as I count Hyrule Castle. They were far too small and felt as if they were chores. The lack of bosses at the end that were notable other than generic piece of Ganon also detracted from its ability to have a lasting effect. I also remember utilizing the champion abilities to bypass several parts of those Dungeons and therefore made them incredibly benign. I actually went back and did them the legitimate way and still felt ripped off.

I'm not saying that the dungeons have to be linear, but nor should they be obligatory. In my opinion, I feel they should all be there for exploration and a suitable prize at the end. Perhaps if they were the storage upgrades or if they did unlock new runes throughout the game instead of having them all handed to me at the beginning.

I actually just had another idea. What if the dungeons were similar to Zelda 1? But at the same they all connected into each other Underground? It would allow the underground to feel Temple-ish while the Overworld is wide open exploration based as well. Connecting the different dungeons could be metroidvania in style. I feel as if that may be a way to bring in dungeons without detracting from the open-air concept Aounuma is fascinated by.

Re: Here’s Why Traditional Dungeons Got Axed in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

LordGeovanni

I appreciated the efforts. I recognize the strengths of this concept. I ultimately felt as if the lack of dungeons did detract from my experience. I had like long exploration based dungeons. The lack of those was probably the biggest detractor to my enjoyment in the entire game. It is a major concern of mine that Nintendo seems to want to use Breath of the Wild as the go-to example for future Zelda development, and I feel this almost solely based on how they did the dungeons.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Update to Bring Bug Fixes and Map Improvements

LordGeovanni

I am happy with the change to tiger tiger and I am also slightly pleased with the changes to the minimap. I would like them to alter the controls or better yet allow us to alter the controls. I would rather have quick travel on the plus button and menu on X. I would absolutely love to have other options on the d-pad then just some basic controls. I also would like to see guides available to review not just seen once, for me, 70 hours ago.

Re: Rumour Buster: The Nintendo 64 Classic Mini Game List 'Leak' is a Batch of Old PDF Files

LordGeovanni

@ThanosReXXX
As far as I'm understanding, a Nintendo rep was speaking with a friend at a GameStop and what they said made sense to me. The controller itself is particularly finicky in how it's created. This was also the major problem Nintendo had with creating them back when the N64 was a major system. Even with that, the system doesn't have a lot of major key games, third-party support was lower, and the system wasn't around for as long as previous. All of these amount to the idea it would be easier to just institute virtual console on switch. I do honestly feel that Nintendo has refused to mention VC on switch in order to not cannibalize sales of the classics and they will mention VC once the online subscription has started.
