Most people love a good film, and over at Nintendo Life Towers we're no exception. So when the gaming world collides with the movie world and we actually get to write about it, we get a little bit excited.
And thankfully that day is today, as certain users over on Reddit have been recreating promotional posters for famous (and infamous) feature presentations in Super Mario Odyssey, and the results are frankly lovely.

I absolutely love it when fans make things like this. Especially when they're using in game engines for that purpose. I wish that Nintendo would officially say something about this, make recognition for these people and encourage more things like this.

I like(in no particular order) Akira, The Room, The Martian and The Last Samurai.

This is why screenshot modes should be everywhere, NOT LOOT BOXES. Imagine if they asked maybe $5 for screenshot and no loot boxes. I doubt that they won't be rolling in money.
It's an excellent feature and I wish the snapshot alternative in BotW was something like that as well. Ah well, I can't complain, now that I have to buy a ticket to The Moon's premiere

The Last Samurai and The Martian ones are pretty good. The IT poster is more creepy in the Mario version.
