The latest update for Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle introduces video capture, despite not making a big song and dance about it.
The free patch - which also brings with it the new Vs. Mode - means you can now record 30 second videos to share on social media accounts.
If you've performed an impressive pincer movement and you want to share it with the wider world, now's your chance.

Is there a list somewhere with all the games that support video capture? I was really surprised when i found out Gunbird supports it.
A screenshot of Peach Rabbid with camera seems appropriate.
I don't want you guys to feel silly
@EmirParkreiner I maintain such a list at ResetEra (where Mario+Rabbids was added to the list 10 days ago):

Since I got this game on Black Friday, I kept trying to use video capture out of habit but it never worked of course. Then one time a week or so ago when playing versus against my wife, I try again sort of on accident and it suddenly works. Kind of a surprise to me then!

Awesome, I just ordered this for $32 at Best Buy a couple days ago. Won't be playing it until Christmas but it's nice to know I'll be able to record gameplay!
Awesome, this is a fun game. Lots of cool things can happen so a nice addition.
The last update was optional. And I skipped it because I didn't need it. I will do the same with other updates. As long as Nintendo doesn't fix the "memory-storage" stuff on Switch, I'll skip the optional updates that I don't need!
@Henmii Why not just archive the game data when you've played it instead?
I was just thinking that it would be cool if there was a way to record some of this action. Nice one!
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Rabbid Peach is probably one of the best ever characters IMO.
I wish Nintendo would help get this feature out on more games sooner than several months after I finished them. On of the few minor letdowns I have with Xenoblade 2 is the lack of video support. I want to spam my Facebook feed with 30 second clips of complex JRPG battle mechanics that 90% of the people on my friends list don't understand!
@jariw,
When I "unwrap" the save-data for usage, the updates are still there. It doesn't solve a thing.
@jariw
Thanks, that's very useful.
I wonder why some developers are hesistant to use this feature, people sharing videos on social media is good free advertisement.
