I actually came to think of Kingdom Hearts first when I saw Zacian as a wolf with a sword in their month as Sora in his lion form fight with the Keyblade in his month :+).

Interesting and hope it will be a fun game and a game that fit well with touch controls :+).

What will be most interesting to see is likely if the game will be more core focused or casual focused.

Ouch, don't sound like fun for Warren Spector and hope he get his fixed or get a new battery he can use.

On the topic of Epic Mickey I wouldn't mind a port or a new Epic Mickey game :+).

I do remember the concept of Epic Donald and think that would be really cool as well ^^. Going around a Carl Barks inspired is something I would really like :+).

While many might say they are cloning Pokemon, I think if they are new to making games and make it a tribute I think it is fine. While of course they could have tried to make it a little more different from the original Pokemon games even the game do more so have the Dragon Quest Monsters kind of combat already.

I think trying to learn from the games they love are a good thing as they are likely motivated by their want to try and make things based on games types they love. I would probably try to make a game similar to one I like in terms of my first game or at least first game where I have somewhat of an idea of what to do.

Later when the company have more experience in game making and can truly more so experiment they likely will, they just have to learn making games first :+).

Hummm. I am thinking about if I should post an invite code to a Discord server that's made by and for people who originally was on Miiverse and use the server as their internet home now, but I am wondering about if that is allowed or not since it technically isn't allowed to post links to other sites and such or self promotion at least.

Still, I was thinking about this since some people here seem to be missing Miiverse and thought letting them come to a Discord server that's for Miiverse people could be an idea.
In case wondering, this Discord server is made by people who primarily were in the Zelda community.

So yeah, wanted to hear first about if this is something that would be allowed or not.

Not that interested in Mario Maker 2 even if I would love to see a Zelda Maker eventually, I can say that I imagine they could come up with new and improved system for sharing in Mario Maker 2 or have a website you can use to search up levels.

As for Miiverse I can say that many migrated to other places they could still get to chat with their Miiverse friends. While I might not have contact with everyone of my old friends from Miiverse, I do have contact with a fair amount of them still which I am really glad for :+).

I before this video didn't really care about Fortnite, but after watching it I can say that I have respect for Fortnite even if I don't play Fortnite myself :+).

@sdelfin No problem about mentioning it and hope you like Cuphead if you decide to play it :+). Recommend waiting to after it has come to the Switch so you don't come in the situation that you bought the PC version that has a mod to remove the film grain, but afterwards the Switch version come out with an option to remove the film grain.

But yeah, I do understand you on feeling flashing cameras and such being a bit much at times as well as shaking and all the other things. While it is understandable that SNES/old games have harder time removing such effects in order to keep the intended design, Cuphead is a bit of another case. While taking a way the film grain effect will take away the old feel a bit, but it will like people like me play Cuphead when I now can't due to the film grain.

Yeah, Cuphead looks great both with and without film grain(film wise), it is just that with film grain it is making it not comfortable to play compared to watching. And I am pretty sure the original versions of the old cartoons didn't intend to have film grain when creating them, that's something that came later or at least when showed at the TV/cinemas.

So yeah, best of luck to you and hope we both will be able to play Cuphead later and have fun :+).

@Deltath Ah, that part were more so for politeness, so don't worry :+).

You could say for us the film grain in Cuphead causes sensory overload or something like that, so like if we do try to play we are likely going to either get a headache later or get dizzy.
I usually don't have a problem with film grain in the old cartoons, but for a game like Cuphead where I am ment to focus it is hard for me with the film grain.

I don't really want Cuphead to be easier gameplay wise, I just want a toggle in the option the option menu that let you turn on or off film grin as you like and see nothing wrong with implementing that.

@Deltath I don't think it is quite the same thing.
For Cuphead's case it is constant small flashy spots repeated over and over, which aren't really a problem in other games. I don't mind particle effects or anything like that, but in Cuphead's case it is a constant visual distraction.

I know there are mods out there that say they remove the film grain and I have thought about those, but haven't gotten them as I had hoped for a official option.

I actually played Cuphead at a con a few years ago before the film grain was properly added and back then I had no problem playing and had fun and loved the artsyle as I love early Disney cartoons. So it isn't that the game isn't for me, it is more so about that I can't play it with the constant small flashes as they are too much for me.

It isn't about making Cuphead easier, it is about making Cuphead playable for people who have the same issues as me.

I don't mind not having a new easier mode, but what I would like is an option to turn of film grain filter as all the small flashes is too distracting for me, so I can't play it and enjoy Cuphead with the film grain.

It might make the game a bit easier as you don't have distracting flashes, but in this case is it is more so about convenience and accessibility if anything as there are people like me who can't play Cuphead well with the film grain.

I know the intention is make Cuphead look like an old cartoon and I really like old cartoons as well and have no problem watching them, but it is another thing when I am trying to focus while trying to play.

So yeah, hope the option to turn of the film grain comes to the Switch version of Cuphead so I can finally play Cuphead properly :+).

While some less likely than others, I wouldn't be too surprised if they happen either.

@Miles_Edgeworth I would love a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game as well, but I am not too sure if they would reveal a new one before Chocobo Mystery Dungeon is out.

Still, can hope for a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and would really like a new one at this point ^^. If a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game comes it will be interesting to see if it is for 3DS or Switch.

I would really like if an offline version of Dragon Quest 10 came to the rest of the world, but also let you play online with friends for raids and such if possible if they still include large scale battles that are meant with humans coordinating together :+).

But yeah, will be interesting to see and hope Dragon Quest 10 will come to the rest of the world ^^.

I think I would really want a browser on the Switch and technically it is weird that we haven't got one already. Yes, I do know I can just pick up my iPad, but it would be really nice to have a browser in my view, and if you have a browser you technically have all the other multimedia apps too :+).

It is kind of weird that I have to point out to people that aren't that into gaming super much originally that the Switch doesn't have a browser at all, or that you have no way of talking to your friends on the Switch, and not counting the voice chat through the Nintendo Online Service app as I want text chat.

I have some friends from Miiverse that I can't contact in any way anymore, so a simple text/friend chat feature would be nice.

But yeah, we will see how it goes and hopefully we get a way to talk to our Switch friends through text chat soon :+).

Norwegian here and I can say that the text have been changed and as far as the original Norwegian text I haven't seen yet, but I think even from the English text, it seems to me more like the text is saying that more games are going to be revealed in 2018, not launched. The word launch isn't even in the English text.

@JimmySpades It won't surprise me if Fe ends up selling best on Switch, beside Steam maybe as Steam has a much larger audience, but I think the Switch will likely generate high sales for Fe :+).

I think EA might have the wrong mentality in terms of Switch if they just base their success on Fifa on the Switch, as Fifa aren't really interesting for a lot of Nintendo fans, or at least for me.

I think Sims and a improved Spore would likely be better to base their impressions on. Still I don't know every game EA has so, might be more games there that I don't know about that would be good for the Switch.

Either way, EA has to adapt a little to the Nintendo audience if they want to sell, as many Nintendo fans don't really have the same taste as the mainstream audience, so they have to adapt in a sort of way.

Will be interesting to see how it goes for Fe, EA and Nintendo :+).

I don't really if care if EA is tied to Fe, I need Fe and I think we all know that the game will likely be Nintendo friendly.

As for the Nintendo Direct part I think it seems likely with January and we need to get to know about Nintendo Online Service soon or later so :+).

I am not going to comment on if BOTW is a actual Zelda game or not, but there are things that I feel for me could have been better.

First of all I am a story/lore lover and I will say, while there was story and lore here and there it wasn't enough for me and I am hungry for a lot more, but I think the upcoming DLC pack should help either a bit or a lot and hopefully a lot :+).

I do like the world and the exploration aspects, but there aren't really enough for me usually to really get invested in even if I find cool things now and then.

Fighting and such I don't care about that much, more so something to access more story and lore for me and I have to earn to get the next story/lore.

I kind of wish Zelda games had two modes, one which is more like BOTW or to say a focus on gameplay, and the other one a focus on lore and story and giving the world a lot more meaning.

BOTW is a good game and I did enjoy it for what it was, but for me it isn't the kind of game I am most into, whether or not you say it is a Zelda game or not.

What I suggest is that you write to them how much you love the Monster Hunter series and how much you want Monster Hunter XX or a Monster Hunter game for the Switch to come out here as well :+). You are also way more likely get a reply this way and writing how much Monster Hunter mean to you as well as maybe a particular moment you experience something really good related to Monster Hunter.

In any case it is up to you and I hope for you and other Monster Hunter fans that the Switch gets Monster Hunter XX or something kind of Monster Hunter game for the Switch, so hope for the best for all of you Monster Hunter fans ^^.

Of those who really want Monster Hunter XX to come here as well, I recommend actually emailing Capcom directly and tell them that you want Monster Hunter XX or at least a Monster Hunter game on the Switch.

@Krillin_ Thanks ^^. Still I at first didn't really try, but I did try to self study a bit through apps and such when I had understood that I actually started to learn Japanese and actually many things at that point where things I knew just from watching :+).

In any case I do wish you luck on your own Japanese learning and hope it goes well for you and that you are able to learn Japanese to a level that it can at least be helpful in Nintendo Directs ^^.

How far you go is up to you and I say go as far as you want and do what's right for you :+).

@JaxonH I didn't really intend to learn Japanese, but because I started watching anime just to have something to watch, my brain/subconscious taught me some Japanese without really trying as I have a good memory and I would say above the normal anime level most people learn just by watching, but still at a kids show level.

Kind of coincidental, but I can't complain with partly being able to understand Nintendo Directs and similar :+). Still can't complain ^^.

Anyway, I do want to learn Japanese more for real and I got that book as a present, just that I need to get back to it as I have been focusing on other things as well as having school and things when I got it. (I can probably start reading it again after typing this comment).

I own both a Switch and a PS3/PS4 as I am a JRPG fan, which Sony usually have more of than Nintendo.

Haven't it been for the fact that the JRPGs usually comes to Sony, I probably wouldn't have needed to buy a PS4, but I am fine and don't mind having a PS4 :+).

Glad that both Nintendo and Sony are doing so well now and can have a kind of symbiosis together ^^.
