Battle chasers had the misfortune of being kinda bland but the games graphics were never an issue. This game will probably play better so I'm interested.

I wonder if this will help the online, it was pretty dead on PC last I checked.

I love cloud gaming and I want more of it, if also like traditional stuff to be maintained too. That's about all I have to say really.

The main reason I like Shadow PC is because it just gives you a streaming PC to play games you already own.

Xbox gamepass let's you stream games and you can buy them too. What we have now on Switch is just full streaming so far and that's not exactly what I'm looking for. It's still nice though, I just don't want them to do this and then say "why bother making a switch version?". I STILL want that option.

First time I have ard of this, I'll take a deeper look later, it looks good.

Can't be helped yet. They have to expand more. Maybe if people buy into it more we'll see it get pushed out to other regions.

I'm in full support of this, cloud gaming is amazing and I've been doing it myself on PC and mobile for a while now thanks to Shadow PC and Xcloud.

I understand people being concerned about servers shutting down and now t having their games anymore, that's something the devs here will have to address since platforms like shadow and xcloud let you actually download the games too.

I don't understand, yeah he does something bad... And then gets punished for it. It's not like he does it and then hit away with it. THAT would have been an issue.

@graysoncharles I'm using it too and I get the same issue. Microsoft thinks my internet sucks but the games run fine :/

@graysoncharles Works fine for me and I'm at about 90ish from what I checked. My mobile internet is slower and I can still get it running.

It may also depend on who you're streaming from.

Why not just have an article for all the games coming out?

I want to see how well this works on the Switch. This could open up a lot of options.

One of these days I'll play one of the games in this series, I've been meaning to for a while, just haven't got the chance.

Let me stop you right there, I never said it wasn't still eating at me, just that I'm not mad. It's possible to be bugged by something and not be angry.

Then they make articles and ask for input, so I give my input on how I feel the DLC was handled. That's it.

@Northwind You keep saying I didn't say what they could do now, an apology would be something they could do now, I just know they won't.

They could also just refund DLC purchases and give the DLC for free, that would be amazing.

And yeah, I'm not mad at all, the fact that this happened like, a year ago doesn't mean I suddenly will change my mind, they still did wrong.

Handheld, I have it set up on my desk and I'll just pull out my pro controller to play on it sometimes.

It's like they know that people just want to buy the left joy-con, because it sucks, but refuse to accept it.

@Northwind Well they easily could have just added the content as free DLC since they didn't deliver on their previous promises. The entire reason we didn't get Pokémon appears to have been false and we're getting them anyway. They need to acknowledge that they were wrong and apologize. That would go a long way into building back good will with the people who had criticisms.

Also, you're assuming a lot if you think I'm harboring any strong options towards this. I don't hate the developers, I just don't like what they did, which is hardly an unhealthy position. There's nothing wrong with holding an option that someone is wrong. It's all about how you act on it.

The game looks cool and I'm liking that they are supporting it still. I'll probably get it when it's on sale for a little lower.

@WallyWest I get that you had to buy another cartridge to get other Pokémon, the only reason I was never upself then was because Ru/Sa was such a large jump that it made sense that it wasn't a big deal not everything was brought over.

@Northwind The main criticisms for this game stem from one thing, they lied.

I could care less they we got less Pokémon if it meant we were getting a better game like they promised. I remember them saying at one time that Pokémon were cut to improve animations.

That would have been amazing if true, the animations in Pokémon have been stiff for a while. Turns out, that wasn't true. Stuff like that is why I'm unhappy with the game, not just because some stuff is missing.

@Camari Someone does, either you buy the DLC or you have to hope someone else who did is willing to share what they got so you can get Pokémon that we could have had earlier.
@WallyWest There was a massive jump in gameplay, character design and everything between 2 and 3,wbich was what we were promised when they told us we would not get everything in SwSh. That turned out to be a lie and thus, people are upset. Then they turned around and are selling Pokémon to us that they could have put in and are making you also pay to transfer Pokémon ymto their bank and sit there in the hope you can use them later if they don't get into SwSh.

Well as long as Game freak continues to ignore the criticisms, they are going to keep being brought up. That's just how it is.

Still annoyed that the Pokémon weren't there to begin with. The fact that they are coming in now shows they could have done it.

That's just me though, I hope people who buy it enjoy the DLC.

A metroidvania that shouldn't be a metroidvania huh? The game must be good then if it can still get an 8 despite that.

It looks interesting, there's just not enough yet to get me hyped.

@Northwind Okay, I wasn't sure if maybe it was just this game or what. I haven't heard of a significant number of games that needed patches just to run.

I'm not saying they don't exist, I've seen them. I just didn't know there were THAT many.

Never heard of it, it looks cool though. I'll have to check out some reviews later when it comes out.

@CodyMKW That's perfectly fine, my issue is when those servers are shut down. That's a big reason for why some folks prefer physical.

Personally, I have no problem with digital and I prefer it.

@Piyo Mediocrity is often in the eye of the beholder. Some markets are very niche.

A second-hand digital market sounds interesting.

That's still not as bad as them not being available at all.

@Piyo Sure, but even after digital is gone, you can still buy physical copies. That's the big difference I see here.

@Shadowthrone So if people want to get the game in some way they can still buy it? I was under the impression that physical copies of the game were basically non-existent according to the article, that's what I was talking about.

Yep, this is what will happen if games are released only digitally (in general, I know this game had some physical copies). It's why I don't pick on people who just want physical copies of their game. It's a fair argument that your game could vanish at some point.

That's a neat tidbit, they probably did just want people to figure it out in their own.

Good, I liked this game a lot, been looking at it on steam.

I saw the title and thought that Final Fantasy 13 was suddenly getting a remake.

So it's only fault is it doesn't do anything new, that's not terrible.
