@nessisonett You have to keep in mind that, if they want to sell anything in China, they have to follow their rules.

I don't like the censorship either, I also don't think Nintendo can do much about it. This change will have to happen from somewhere else.

@nessisonett I don't see Nintendo doing as much shady stuff as Epic.

If anything, Nintendo is pretty open about how out of touch they are with the gamers at times.

Nintendo also doesn't do sneaky stuff with your data (sell it to China).

Not only that, but its usually great when Nintendo takes a company under it's wing. Like when they saved Bayonetta.

I'm both impressed and a little depressed. It's hard to describe.

My condolences to the family. I can't say I've heard of this individual, but I can tell he made an impact to a lot of people.

Yeah I'm hyped for this. It's not about the graphics, it's about the gameplay and it looks like they are finally listening, maybe.

Nope, not really interested. The first one didn't interest me and the demos were boring for me. I just wasn't feeling it.

Doesn't seem to bad, I'm happy more rogue-likes are coming out these days.

I like seeing games turned into board games so this is pretty cool. I'm not sure I'll get it though, not at that price.

Didn't like Octopath since battles felt grindy.
Grindy games aren't bad and they work because you don't FEEL like you are grinding.

I was hoping this game fixed that but I haven't heard anything positive just yet. I'm withholding my judgment for now.

@nimnio I forgot if they just used money or something else. I think it was random drops you got from enemies. A core or something would drop and then you'd used it to see what you got.

It was not very fun. Luckily, I got stuff I liked but only because I was LUCKY.

I never got everyone.

@nimnio it was horrid. You'd have to keep farming resources just to have a CHANCE to get a blade you wanted.

Which isn't to say that the blades you get are all bad. It's just getting the exact ones you want is impossible. It's even worse if you're a collector trying to 100% the game.

@Ogbert I guess maybe I don't get it then. I'm not sure how they'd objectify a female Slayer.

@pepepopo I guess if they wanted they can go the Samus route. Slimmer armor, mostly.

@nimnio In the game you can unlock blades with different skills and rarity.

However, they are locked behind an in-game gacha system so it's difficult to get who you want.

@nimnio Did you play xenoblade chronicles 2?

I hated the blade gacha a lot but generally enjoyed the gameplay.

@sanderev On one hand, I agree with you, they have their own customs and beliefs.

On the other hand, some countries abuse people, like what's happening in China with Muslims. It makes this issue where I don't want us to be the world police but I also think something should happen on some cases.

Sounds decent overall, I like what I'm seeing.

Anyway, I'm familiar with the "it takes a village". Saying. Ultimately, the individual is responsible for their choices. The parents hold some of that responsibility too though.

I don't trust public school systems to do that well, they haven't in the past.

They've always been inept at programming and other junk.

@Munchlax That's a fair point and I would argue that them not doing the aninations or being prepared for it shows that they just weren't ready for 3D.

They put more effort into the animations of colosseum than the newer games. It's kinda sad.

Honestly, I would have preferred Pokémon stayed with the 2D look.

It's pretty clear they weren't ready to embrace 3D yet with the mainline games.

I get loving 60 fps.
If I bought this game it would be with the understanding that it's good even at 30.

I don't expect most AAA games to be 60fps unless made by Nintendo.
