Re: Expect More Open-World Zelda Games Going Forwards, Suggests Eiji Aonuma

I'm just starting to try botw for the 1st time recently to see the hype up to this game and so far after seeing the map I feel like it's a chore more than anything, I'm still free to give it a chance but If the world is full of collectathons I won't even bother with another 100+ hours game, hell even a link to the past/between words is so timeless because you can pickup and play that in less than a day without trying when you know where to go, adding "expanded" maps or padding is not a modern game positive mechanic that should be moving forward, people who have kids and jobs or a busy social life don't have time for multiple games in this manner, it doesn't help that other genres are following suit with this same formula also, I'm having more reasons to keep playing older titles more and more since I recently purchased my steam deck which is one of the reasons I picked it up in the 1st place with its pickup and play focus πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ˜

Gaming trends are indeed very strange indeed these days

@AmazonianBeauty don't put it all out to see on public sites, you wonder why any "opportunities" goes to waste, of course I hate the people who use these situations for obvious nefarious intention and that is not going to stop but with the advantage of legacy consoles being able to personalise your console the way you see fit should not be in the same discussion in something like this it is and it's an fustrstion

I can't say Skyrim and the multiple different versions I had to complete

But to me with a honest answer sonic 3 and knuckles and sonic 2 also, I've lost count as to how many times I did completed them, this is why i roll my eyes for sega when hey announce a remake or remaster, it sounds petty and violent
