Excatly there is so many options to play GB, GBC and GBA games on Android and Windows pc or retro goodness on original hardware, this is just a waste of time and space, no one has time for it

@Luigi_Skywalker it's one of my favourite systems too also brought my original gba at launch with super mario world, still remember that, own 100+ gba games, will never need a subscription service to play any of these games, happy about that.

@StuTwo i really don't have any care about this online service when i still have my own gb carts which are still working to this day, i own them and nothing including nintendo can take them away hiding the service behind a subscription model which can be taken down at a future date, not wise to invest in on something like this long term.

@russell-marlow that is the problem you have, it's the indie devs who oversaturate the industry with chiptune garbage because they don't know what the hell they are doing, they are in it for the cash, not for a good retro experience like 20 years ago imo

i hated when indie devs went crazy over the 16 bit craze and just oversaturated the digital market with retro stuff just because with no reason, i got the hate but the history of it just shows, look at how bad the psn store is with "retro" stuff, not messing to it, just there because it has retro graphics, no substance!

@TheFrenchiestFry this is why the streets of rage soundtrack is so legendary, even donkey kong on the snes is history, the composers worked so hard to get the quality sound with what they had at the time and i was amazed when i found out about donkey kong and what they did to get the music out on the snes, they are magicians! work their magic

@Tupin yes exactly, big example is the recent Mario collection, it's not hard to emulate all those games in the compilation on any device that you own, but Nintendo keeps on demanding a £50 price tag for this abomination and it really hurts that Nintendo feels that they can exploit people because they are loyal to the cause and want to be devoted by them, even when nintendo lays eggs in a nest and don't care in the process about anyone's loyalty, all they care about is convenience, they don't care about the long term and their legacy! and nothing else!
