@Lroy The American version, and when I tried it said that I could not register this cart. At first I thought maybe I’d just received the wrong region’s cart, but it didn’t even give the usually warning from import games I get that I can’t register said cart in my region.

Of course it’s lazy. They’re greedy b*stards who couldn’t even bother registering Burnout Paradise with The My Nintendo program.

My Island is still prett rural, and I have achieved. 5 Star rating, I still have a huge forested areas of all kinds of trees. I just have a few themed areas like Campground, Beach, village, zen and a few villager houses I’ve tried to keep in theme: proper/flower, fun, woodsy, sporty, farm, etc.

As a physical only gamer (unless a game that I want only releases digitally, this article is ’blasphemy’). I won’t buy a digital only Switch.

That would mean they’d have to stop getting cheap on internal memory and/or pack in micro-sd card. I don’t see it happening.

I agree, I’ve said for years that MS and Nintendo should collaborate on making a new IP.

In addition it would benefit MS to bring their bigger IP to Switch, especially in Japan, as Halo, Rare Replay? And possibly Gears would do well on Switch especially if they want to advertise these franchises to Nintendo players for new entries on XBox Series X.

If Nintendo shared some of their older games with XB Game Pass it would also build some good will on that front as well.

In addition, it’s a no brainer that if Nintendo wants to eventually create an N64 Classic, they’re going to needs MS blessing and protect share a bit since some of the best/biggest games on N64 were Rare created and owned.

@PhatToad yeah, but it required a little bit of extra cost. In order to do it without having to redownload everything, I had to buy two micro sd card adaptors on Amazon, then I used them to copy directly from the used, smaller micro sd to the larger new one directly when they were both plugged into two separate USB ports on my pc.

If you decide to just redownload your games instead, you don’t need to worry about losing save data, I think it’s tied to internal memory on your Switch,

@wazlon yeah that’s true about a map, but they could easily include a mini-map in the right hand corner (even if it were opaque) to rectify this problem if ported to the Switch.

I’d love to see most of these games ported to Switch, but I’d also add in Call of Duty.
