The wokesters in Nintendo’s marketing department need to realize that these celebs, and really any celebs aren’t going to influence most families to consider buying a Switch, if they already aren’t interested.

All I want is Fallout on Switch (3, New Vegas, 4).

@TG16_IS_BAE Only that it hopefully leads to better quality and more games from 3rd parties in the future (the last half of 2020 hasn’t largely born this out, yet.. but that may be because of a certain Pandemic).

@TheFrenchiestFry look we know that, but we also know they’re cheap sometimes (putting only half a collection on a physical cartridge..), so I wouldn’t put it past them to do a Cloud only version and think THIS is what Switch consumer will be satisfied with, when we will not!

@TheFrenchiestFry no it is not a gross mischaracterization. It’s a very real possibility. We know how lazy and cheap game developers can be, and say instead of Capcom green-lighting RE 2 Remake (or 3), which probably could run natively on Switch, they may give us a ‘Cloud’ version?? No, thanks!

@Retro_Player_77 that might be a better solution just break up complicated AAA games into “chapters” released quarterly and released digitally that way. I’d rather have that than streaming for AAA games on Switch.

I call bull****, I think they’re just cheap, and I’m worried that if successful, this will only encourage other developers (Capcom?, etc..), to just go this route rather than giving Nintendo Switch owners proper respect and ownership through a true port of even last-gen AAA games.

If this takes off it’ll just make AAA game developers lazy and then quit porting games natively on Switch (even digital versions-which though I prefer physical would appreciate much more than the ‘Cloud’).

Yeah in my opinion it was mostly “bleh”, but I’m not a huge fan of ultra-Japanese type games. If you’re someone that is, then happy for you! I’ll wait for a real Nintendo Direct and I do plan on buying Bravely Default II and Hyrule Warriors though.

There’s some good games here, and then there’s a loooooooot of shovelware, some of it on licensed games.

I was on the fence on this game, but you’re review pushed me over.

Aleste was the only real “surprise” which I’m interested in, besides the big Nintendo titles.
