During the recent New Game+ Expo Showcase, Inti Creates announced it would be releasing "totally bonkers" Kanna Raising Simulator DLC for Blaster Master Zero 2. It'll be arriving on the Nintendo Switch and multiple other platforms next week on 29th June for $1.99 (or your regional equivalent).
Here's a bit about this new mini-game DLC starring the plant girl Kanna, along with some screenshots:
Adds the ultra weird mini-game "Kanna Raising Simulator" to the extra menu. Capture a variety of materials to make fertilizer and grow your very own Kanna! There are loads of potential Kanna to grow, and you can check out everyone you've completed in "Kanna's Strangallery"!

Good to know there will be plenty of crazy fun in this one as well once I get around to it. Still haven’t finished the first one!
I'm still waiting for my copy of the game... I had hoped Blaster Master Zero 2 would get a physical release, and it is, via Limited Run, so I ordered that. Going to be a while, because every time they announce new DLC, the release date gets pushed back, so they can include the DLC on the game card.

I enjoyed my time with the game but won't be returning to it for this. I do appreciate how weird and random it is, though.
I’m sure glad that girl’s a plant otherwise a DLC about fertilising her might not have passed the ESRB.
I can definitely say that this is not what I was thinking would be added when I noted that BMZ2 only had one extra mode... Hope it's zany fun for the fans!
@JJtheTexan Considering the DLC is out so soon, I wonder if LRG may have already known and planned for it. I'm gonna hold off getting mine for now. According to a twitter reply, they're going to be sending both games to bestbuy later on as well.

I have the physical edition preordered so I’ll have it by proxy but yeah like... I’d have rathered a proper Blaster Master Zero 3! I’m sure that will come some day... at least I hope so!

@javiboy2 I think so. They make it a point to explain the game cards usually won't be manufactured until all patches and free DLC are released. That's why I'm still waiting for about a dozen pre-ordered games from LRG, Special Reserve, etc. ^_^
