@sdelfin isn’t the Arcade version of Double Dragon already released in Hamster’s Arcade Archives series..? Or I could be wrong.

I bought thus collection physically (Japanese Import) and most of the games had English, but a few did not so I “double-dipped” for the American eShop version because Arc translated the rest of the Famicom games into English. Still a fantastic collection. Highly recommended!

@Kitchener you can do it, 10 minutes at a time, I believe in you! That said, I’d love for Oregon Trail to be ported to Switch by Hamster in their Arcade Archives series or something..

If they’ve grown so much, maybe they can finally make that sequel to one of the greatest tactical strategy games ever: Advance Wars: Dual Strike, heck port the first 4 games to Switch too (though I don’t know how the Dual Screen would be compensated for).

Definitely getting Heist, been waiting for a physical of that one for a long time.

@Tyranexx YES it is! And that music is just inspired! More people should experience it, and I am hopeful SE will bring it over (along with the DS/3DS ports of IV - IX) since XI was received so well, and they have also recently (Nov) ported over I - III as well.

I’ve put in over 550 Hours or so and 100%ed the original quest (yes, even the Koroks, made much easier by their mask), 100%ed the DLC and have about 10% of the Master Quest finished.

@Tyranexx I really hope that SE ports DQ VIII 3DS version to Switch with upgraded visuals, the orchestral sound track from the PS2 version, all of the DLC bonus equipment and possibly a few new plot elements/side stories. It is my all time favorite JRPG.

@LavaTwilight Well..they did get the AC Direct on February 20th Correct (along with Emily Rogers as well, btw), so maybe their second half of their rumor/leak is correct too!?

@LavaTwilight zippo/Sabi on Twitter. Apparently there were rumored 2 Directs for February. One was predicted for the 20th for A.C. (That turned out to be true, obviously), so perhaps the other is too?

@Chimera_Police that’s one reason ~why~ even when games come out for Switch like this which I am not personally excited about, I am still excited for coming to Switch 1) I am happy others get to enjoy a game they really like, also 2) it means that more copies of games selling and more Switches selling=more good games likely to release in the future on Switch, some/most hopefully I’ll enjoy. I agree with you 100%.

EVEN though I am not a big Animal Crossing fan, and hadn’t planned on getting this game (though Nintendo does have 25 minutes to convince me..), this Direct does give me hope for a General Nintendo Direct coming in the next couple weeks, because it points to rumors of two Nintendo Directs happening in February coming true.

@KryptoniteKrunch they could offer NES and SNES games at a trifle rate, if they also offered a discount to NSO members to purchase the games off that list they want permanently, individually. Then offer some or all of them individually to the general Switch audience at full price. That would be a win-win.

Nope, but it could be if they start to offer their retro games selection individually, with a discount of full purchase for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

@retro_player_22 oh yeah, would love Cadence (in a double pack with Crypt?). Plus I think MDHR already promised a physical for Cuphead, but I believe they are waiting until after the DLC is out.

FYI: NintendoEverything is reporting that this game has been delayed due to the Conronavirus and that a Physical Cartridge will now be included in the box and not just a download code.

@Zuljaras same, and for the same reasons. Though if a game releases digital only, I am not averse tombuying it, personally and I have been known to double-dip when initial digital releases get a physical X).

@BenAV exactly-that’s what I’m most upset about the Byleth pick about, I and millions of others paid good money for a glorified advertisement rather than a fan favorite.

@Nintyfan that’s your opinion, I disagree. Halo (most of them) are revered classics and would be a welcome fit on Switch, which lacks that type of game (compared to what we have now). It could be goodwill to share with MS, maybe after that they’d share Rare Replay and a new Banjo too?..

@YANDMAN if Halo TMCC can run on X360, then why not Switch?

Plus if they want they could include 1-3 and ODST on a Cart, then Reach and 4 as D/L in which they could fix those issues.

Nintendo should trade exclusive of this to Microsoft in exchange for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Switch.

@Nintyfan Yeah they are light on content. We know very few 1st party games. And most of the 3rd party we know of right now is either niche Japanese, Indy or Shovelware/mobile ports.
