How would a "soft dry cloth" clean anything but a little bit of dust?
I normally use a damp hand/shower cloth to clean off dirt and grime from controllers and screens. (Damp, not wet. Make sure you wring out most of the water)
I don't see why you would need to use alcohol or disinfectant right now. The only people who should be touching your Switch or other gaming devices are yourself and your family members, who should also be quarantined in your home.
Interesting.
An EXCELLENT film, one of "the big ones", back when I was discovering Italian, "grindhouse" and "extreme" horror.
(Some Lucio Fulci movies would make for a good premise for a horror game too, games have certainly taken a lot of inspiration from him over the years)
As for those who are whining about the "animal cruelty" in the film, I hope you're also a vegan.
The animals killed in the movie were eaten by the natives, this was part of their diet.
The animals in the movie CERTAINLY didn't suffer as much as those in the meat industry/factory farms/dairy industry or the numerous other ways we regularly use animals for food and entertainment, but I guess you just don't want to see how the sausage is made, so to speak. (and I'm all for eating meat, just don't be a hypocrite)
Most gamers and Switch owners already have a PS4/XB1 or a gaming PC. Kind of necessary if you want to play most of the great games of the day.
I can understand a lot of lapsed/casual gamers bunkering down right now and buying convenient consoles. Obviously, the Switch would be selling a lot more units if they were more available.
Nintendo needs to give this series a big worldwide push with a new game.
It could fill the void left by Silent Hill and be in the same ballpark as Resident Evil.
Remember, when Nintendo finally gave Fire Emblem a big push with Fire Emblem: Awakening, the series absolutely exploded. Fire Emblem was always roughly on the same level as Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest in Japan, and it finally reached the same level worldwide with the popularity of that game.
From what I've seen, it's VERY accurate to the Sega Saturn original.
If you don't care for that game, or don't believe it's worth $25, then this isn't for you. (or wait for an inevitable sale)
I've heard the source code for the Panzer Dragoon games was lost, perhaps that's why they're being remade with new graphics instead of just re-released like other Sega classics.
I just hope they get around to remaking PANZER DRAGOON SAGA.
Considering that Spring Man is PROBABLY going to be one of the skins for the fighter, this will be the first time an Assist Trophy has made the jump to DLC Fighter.
It's good when a new Nintendo IP gets a fighter rep in Smash, and hopefully Nintendo will keep the ball rolling and announce ARMS 2 sometime soon. (since they've not supported the first game with paid DLC)
As for the fighter, it's PROBABLY going to be multiple skins from the game.
@SwitchForce Now I'm seriously wondering about your nation of residence. Trying to rack up some social credit points? 😂
Yes, China demonstrably LIED and endangered other nations.
"And you think they are the only one-this is what I called narrow minded mindset people whom only spouts hoaxes"
What the ****?
"Really they closed their borders already so what are you getting at? Brownnie points-missed that already EU nations where already closing their Borders."
...What? Anyway, yes, Italy have admitted they delayed their response and delayed closing their borders for the aforementioned reasons.
"Really where this evidence please bring this forward for the rest of us here and the world. Oh and remember most manufactures are located in China so your telling me those companies are making poor quality items. I think your going to eat your own words here."
If you need evidence that Western-made goods are higher quality than Chinese products, you really haven't been paying attention, or you're completely delusional. Multinational corporations USE China for their cheap slave labor, which is not only unethical in itself, but helps to prop up the disgusting, irresponsible, oppressive Chinese Communist regime. Products from Chinese companies certainly are of lower quality and products contracted by multinational corporations often do have highly publicized manufacturing issues and flaws due to cutting these corners in manufacturing.
Yep, the Switch is manufactured primarily in China and shipments haven't been going out since mid-February, last I read.
After the warehouses empty, that could be it for a few months, at least. Of course, that goes for food, supplies and other products as well. Even if you don't buy Chinese products, a lot of people do, and that's going to put a strain on certain other products that are manufactured outside China.
The world really needs to stop doing so much business in China, they've proven to NOT be trustworthy, in more ways than one.
Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition (AMAZING game, that took inspiration from traditional Western RPGs, basically the closest thing the Wii U had to an Elder Scrolls/Fallout-style experience, along with Breath Of The Wild)
Xenoblade Chronicles X-2
Xenosaga HD Trilogy
Xenogears Switch port
Make it happen!!
Can't wait to see what they bring to BOTW 2. (which is probably where most of their manpower is focused at this time)
Lmao There's a not-so fine line between HOMAGE/PARODY and BLATANT IP THEFT.
They literally have AC characters on their commercial product.
Nintendo often seem too "protective" of their IPs, I don't believe they should use their massive legal budget to threaten and shut down non-profit fan games, for example, but in this case I'd say it's pretty justified.
A Goosebumps game could be great if it was simply playing through several of the classic books in the adventure format, with an art-style that resembles the eerie, glossy, evil atmosphere of the classic covers. Instead, they keep doing these goofy mash-up things, just like the movies, which frankly didn't capture the spirit of the books, or even the lighter TV show, imo.
The Goosebumps books were some of the most fun, exciting reading experiences back in the day, couldn't wait to get the new book in our hands and were always looking forward to what the next entry in the series would soon bring. R.L. Stine managed to bring the experience of regular comic book reading and hype to young-adult novels/novellas and he did it with the horror-anthology genre, which hadn't even been popular in comics for decades at that point.
I'm trying for Quest, the only one I don't have yet.
The other ones are very good. I actually preferred playing Dig 2 and Heist on 3DS. The stereoscopic 3D, the more practical zoomed-in view on Dig 2 and the bottom screen map, made the 3DS versions definitive imo.
Nintendo: "Sakurai dear, it's 4PM, time to start work on the next Smash Bros."
Sakurai: "Yes honey"
Lol Whatever he does next will be great. Personally hoping for more Kid Icarus. It's very surprising they haven't remastered Uprising for Switch yet, maybe they'll start raiding the 3DS library at some point. Games like Samus Returns certainly deserve more exposure on Switch. But yes, I have a feeling Nintendo isn't going to let him off the hook for Smash unless he severs professional ties with Nintendo, retires, or personally passes the franchise's torch to someone else.
@Trikeboy "Why are their views any different or less valid to yours?"
They're not.
That's the point.
People don't care about the personal opinions of entertainers, they dislike the entertainers being looked upon as an authority figure or moral arbiter and touted as such by the media.
Unless they run for office or use their station to collaborate with campaigning and policy-making, their opinions certainly don't hold any more or less weight than your own.
"God I love Brie Larson. Every time she speaks it helps us see which members of this community are so goddamn insecure. Newsflash, if what she has said in the past about a certain group of men has offended you, maybe take a look at yourself and your behaviour to find out why. As a straight white man I found none of her comments insulting in any way."
I don't know exactly what she said and I don't care.
From what I gather though, going out of your way to insult and finger-wag people who criticize a celebrity in turn for criticizing them, whether you personally feel it was warranted or not, certainly says a lot about you.
And so I ask you: "Why are their views any different or less valid than hers?"

Animal Crossing, Doom Eternal and MAYBE Resident Evil 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII will be the last major releases unaffected by this plague, as they would likely already be printed and/or sitting in warehouses.
But honestly, video games are not important, none of this should be a concern at this time.
Protect yourself and your family from this awful disease and the social fallout; it could get A LOT worse from here on out.
The totalitarian Communist regime of China had to use exceedingly brutal methods to contain this mess they created, disregarding our concepts of human rights. (though, of course, we can't ever be certain they're telling the truth of the situation right now)

Yep, even the PS5 and Series X launches will probably be delayed. (And don't forget E3 was already on shaky ground after mass DOXXING people last year)
To be honest, if CORONA-CHAN has her way, we would be LUCKY if we get ANY new console game releases later this year. Remember, even if development isn't affected, they still have to manufacture and ship these games. (unless they're digital-only)
Video games aside, a lot of people seem to be sticking their heads in the sand over this. The reality is, we could very well be under martial law situations in many areas of the nation in the coming months with serious food and supply shortages as the warehouses empty and the shipments halt.
More than likely, Nintendo delayed or cancelled their Direct. For one reason, they probably think it would be insensitive as people around the world are dying from the plague, markets are crashing and people aren't really thinking of video games right now, and two: they may not even be sure if they can deliver on games later this year.

There was evidence of a Direct in February too, as there was a sale and a few small announcements that seemed related to a Direct.

Even though the script had some definite issues, they created a very unique, imaginative sci-fi fantasy world with early-90's atmosphere and excellent art design. Some of the ways they referenced Mario lore was very creative as well.
And yes, Hoskins, Leguizamo and Dennis Hopper were great.
It's sad, they assembled all this top-tier production talent and even started with an academy award winning director and screenwriter but a lot of things just went off the rails. Apparently the biggest issue was that Disney basically demanded they rewrite the script on the spot, during production, after they bought the distribution rights to the film through Hollywood Pictures.
It's still an entertaining cult film and has it's fans, but it should have been much more.
This kind of book, especially, is meant to hold in your hands and experience, to treasure on your book shelf. Otherwise, just read a Zelda Wiki and look at artworks online.

Nintendo should farm out all their neglected franchises.
There's several quality studios who would love to do new entries for ALL of Nintendo's classic titles.

IGN is the definition of CRINGE.
All the major publishers should just agree to broadcast online Direct-style presentations on the week that E3 would have been.
And make that a tradition for gamers every year.

Re: Rumour: Two Nintendo Presentations Expected To Air Before The End Of March
Probably not happening, don't get your hopes up.
More than likely, Nintendo delayed or cancelled their Direct.
For one reason, they probably think it would be insensitive as people around the world are dying from the plague, markets are crashing and people aren't really thinking of video games right now, and two: they may not even be sure if they can deliver on games later this year.

Re: Random: GAME Mentions Non-Existent Nintendo Direct, Quickly Removes All Evidence
There was evidence of a Direct in February too, as there was a sale and a few small announcements that seemed related to a Direct.
More than likely, Nintendo delayed or cancelled the Direct.

Re: Miyamoto Reveals The Moment He Knew He Could Trust Illumination With A Super Mario Movie
@Antraxx777 Yes, I enjoy the movie.

@T7Hokage017 I didn't say YOUR preference, I said mass audiences and corporate studio preferences.
I agree that 2D animation will always be inherently superior to CG animation.
Re: Zelda's Wonderful Hyrule Historia Book Is Getting A Digital Release
What's the point?
This kind of book, especially, is meant to hold in your hands and experience, to treasure on your book shelf.
Otherwise, just read a Zelda Wiki and look at artworks online.
Not a fan of digital books whatsoever.
