I finally went for it and boy it’s a lot of fun. It looks like I’m playing an n64 on a modern tv without looking like *****. I dint care there’s no frills. I give it at least an 8! Also the prequels are probably the lowest point in the franchise but there’s a lot of nostalgia to the time leading up to the movie when I was 13 and you could collect Pepsi cans with new characters and the Darth Maul action figure coming out before the movie.... this game falls into that rose tinted nostalgia area for me and I love it.

I’ve never played it but am definitely thinking of grabbing a Sunset Riders. I’ve been playing lots of Neo Geo games lately and have Kid Nikki a play yesterday and a full play through of Metal Slug, so I need some new arcade goodness. It’s between Sunset Riders and In The Hunt but im strongly leaning sunset riders and throwing in a viewing of Blazing Saddles when the kids are asleep tonight.

Re: Feature: Zelda: Majora's Mask At 20 - The Enduring Appeal Of Nintendo's Strangest Game

My favorite Zelda game of all time. I remember getting the holographic N64 label in an issue of Nintendo power before it came out then getting the golf cart with the holographic label and I played the heck out of it. One of the first titles I double dipped on when it came to 3DS and I even got the DLC for Breath if the Wild mostly so I could wear Majoras Mask! The best Zelda imo.

I have a mario figurine based on the art of that Japanese version. Same pose, coloring etc. I like that one most and think the European onebis boring. I like the days when they hadn’t solidified exactly the style of Mario and everyone.

Re: Comparing The Witcher Games To The Books Is Like Comparing "Spaghetti Carbonara With A Bicycle", Says Creator

Personally i loved the show, am loving the books (almost done with The Last Wish) and my wife surprised me with the Witcher 3 and I’m loving that too. Part of what I like is the differences between all three things.

Honestly it reminds me of Dexter a little bit. I loved that show and before season three came out I started reading the books. The tv show runners said hey we like this and are gonna go in a different direction now after adapting the first book. Then it felt like the author was constantly trying to contradict the show and make decisions to spite fans of the show at times... and I loved it. The books are amazing and are their own universe and the show was amazing and was its own universe. And you know how the finale was one of the most hated finales of all time? The last book was great right up to the finale chapter and the author freaking blew it too! Still a fun ride.

So I see the Witcher similarly. Three alternate dimensions of the same world that you can enjoy some parts of all and think some parts suck. What’s cool is that you can enjoy some of all of all three versions. You can’t say that about all franchises ya know?
