@DDFawfulGuy Forced? Force means to do something against one's will. The Japanese aren't forced to do business with America. They have every right to tell America to shove off and not work with them at all.

They want the American market and as such censor themselves for that extra bit of revenue.

Even still, you only read a handful of comments. That's a drop in bucket compared to the Japanese player base as a whole. That's not good enough as "proof". All that proves is outliers exist in every country.

@JohnnyMind Im pretty surprised myself. Alot of other games here tend to get heavy point docks for performance issues despite a glowing review, but doesn't seem to effect Zelda.

@LadyCharlie Videogames by default are a waste of time no matter the length. Every time you play your 3 hour game, you waste 3 hours which could been spent doing something productive.

Eh...pass on the game after the premise. But congrats all the same on getting a game out there.

@AstraeaV That is just one of the flaws of humans. It's not my problem until it affects me. Only problem is once it does affect you, no one will be around to care.

@Chocobo_Shepherd As well as you should. A reviewers job is just inform you, not tell you what you what should and shouldn't consume.

If you think that it's looks amazing and want to buy it, then congrats. The reviewer was never trying to prevent that in the first place.

@Wexter I think people need to stop befriending companies in general. In doing so you find yourself at a point of being afraid to criticize bad practices or staunchly defend a company as if your life depended on it.

@AstroTheGamosian One of those factors is you have to consider just how many movies a professional reviewer sees every year.

A professional film critic sees up to around 100 films per year. Not only that, sometimes they have to see a film multple times.

At most critics just said Mario was nothing special. Some agreed it would appeal to those more familiar with the franchise. Heck, alot of animations released per year receive middling reviews.

Only a few ever get real high praise.

Mario isn't special case of critics going to war with the audience.

@Arawn93 You are correct. I have no rebuttal. I say it's no big deal, because it doesn't effect me, or my enjoyment of the game whatsoever.

Nintendo is a company, not a person. A company whose job it is to sell you a product. Not be your BFF. We live in a world where everything is driven by profit. Not charity.

Sometimes your game bugs out, sometimes your hardware runs into a issue that requires complete shutdown.

Things happen and autosave is a convenience.

@The-Chosen-one ROLF. Smash Ultimate is the best selling fighting game of all time and sits right next with Mortal Kombat. Of course Nintendo is working on a new version, just as they will after that, and after that, till the series is no longer profitable.
