@BTB20 this game looks like it has been rushed (XC3), i dunno what the situation is because i don't follow it too much, i have no intention on buying this, the second one was a mess too and the developers making the games don't know how to upscale a 12 year old game to play on HD (XC1 remake on the Switch running at 510p is a joke).

I've been saying this for years, Monolith are a ***** developing studio, they are using ancient technology to create games, this game looks like a 360 game ffs 😳.

Well i dunno about the demo, but the online for the game is one of the most played games on the Switch, i see hundreds of available lobbies, everytime i refresh the lobbies, hundreds of others appear, indicating that there is a very healthy player base in the game.

If you're talking about the online for the demo, then get the main game lol.

Lol Bayonetta isn't dropping this year because Platinum are trolls, that idiot in charge is a well known high level troll. If it does, It'll literally drop on the 31st of December.

Really hoping we get one of the wrestling games, like No Mercy or Wrestling 2k. I'd even take WCW Revenge or WWF Warzone.

I think the service is looking quite solid now, with the DLC drops and all these classic games, it's really a no brainer now.

Neither. I got my Pokemon fix from Legends Arceus, that'll be enough for me for a few more years.

@WallyWest now see, i want to believe that the upcoming Pokemon games are going to be any different from any of the other games in the series, but i highly doubt it.

Legends Arceus was decent though, but these games look nothing like that.

This sounds like a bit of a disaster, and because most of the games would have been unique, the cost of these games would be stupid today.

They would turn into some annoying collection thing, with the cost of some cartridges probably costing as much as a Shiny Charizard.

Too many of these types of games, too many Metroidvania games. I have huge fatigue with the genre.

Imagine releasing a game for online multiplayer, with online infrastructure akin to what was available in the mid 00s.

To be fair, I'm not really too bothered, the last good Street Fighter game was USF4 and that was a re-release of a 14 year old game.

I love this game, one of my favourites but unfortunately the game was a mess on release, it didn't get resolved until Dark Arisen, by which point the hype train had left the station.

It was, just before it released, poised to be the Skyrim of 2012, but the game was a mess, no fast travel at all, pawn chatter couldn't be turned off, pawns did whatever the hell they wanted, difficulty curve was ridiculous. Game got a 6 out of 10 before Dark Arisen turned it into a solid 8 out of 10, fixing most of the above issues.

It's a bit of a hard sell, the battery life on these things have always been a bit shoddy, coupled with lack of physical games and high price point, it's a hard pass from me.

When you can buy a gaming laptop with better specs than this for around the same price. Why would you consider buying this?

These developers should just go ahead and open an OnlyFans account, with the way their going on now.

Not surprised, EA losing FIFA is a lot more damaging than they imagined it could be. Before than happened, everyone was talking about how little that contract actually meant as EA has many contracts with individual clubs and footballers instead.

What they did not realise, was that when they lost that contract with FIFA, the majority of the solo contracts they had with clubs and players were not going to be resigned.

I have no idea why i got it expecting it to be good, it's absolutely terrible. It was 11 years ago too.

No Mercy os the best, followed by every other N64 wrestling game ever made.

The ones on the PS2 were decent too, also 2k14 was actually quite solid as well.

Sunbreak is the only thing Nintendo are getting that im looking forward to.

But that being said im anticipating around 200 hours of content, which is perfect because after Pokemon Legends Arceus, that's enough for me for 2022 on the Switch.

My 3 Indie games are Hades, Dead Cells and Hollow Knight, if a game comes out as good as either of these 3, we'd know about it. Unfortunately none of these games will scratch the surface.

@ModdedInkling think about it another way, phones use be durable and would last for days, now you charge them two or three times daily and if you drop them they shatter.

But surely you realise why that is? Or are you gonna tell me "they don't build them like they use too"...

@ModdedInkling so you're expecting companies to train to use outdated software development tools just to cater to Nintendo's 10 year old hardware? This would also impact development on hardware that isn't gimped.

When you use outdated development tools to make modern games you get stuff like Fallout 76, this is why companies adopt new technologies. So they don't end up with a Fallout 76 situation.

For developers to make games catered for Nintendo, they would need to not make any games for other hardware manufacturers, so yes.

It is indeed Nintendo's fault.

This case with Capcom is a prime example of this situation, Nintendo's gimped hardware means that you're all shocked and outraged over a measly 13 gigs of storage in 2022

@ModdedInkling thats Nintendo's fault, you can't expect companies to continuously cater to Nintendo's backward mentality.

This is why despite the Switch's storming success, it rightfully has less 3rd party support than every other platform.

Nintendo are lacking in so many areas, storage is just one thing.

13 gigs is small, in fact by todays standards 13 gigs is the equivalent to 13 megs 20 years ago.

Get use to it, we live in a different age.

They should save themselves the trouble and not bother.

Not saying the game isn't worth it, just thinking that the game is designed to compete with Asobimo games (like Toram or Avabel), these type of games don't work well on consoles, they're built with mobile in mind.

They can be ported but you'd ideally want to play on an actual phone. Hence why the majority of the advertising points towards mobile game.

This is fake news designed to drive up sales of the hardware. There is no shortage but Nintendo will say this so people will think that they might miss out if they don't get one now.

So they go online to order it, it's just an age old marketing tactic "come and get it while you can, limited stock" - while sitting on a pile of the product.

A company doing this so late into a products life indicates that said company are looking to clear out stock to prepare for something new.

Buying a Wii U.

Damn thing was mostly collecting dust for the first year, by which point i sold it and got a PS4.

Second biggest regret was that stupid PS1 Mini which was an obvious cash grab by Sony.

3rd is the PS Vita, as good as it was, it had no games worth paying that much for the hardware to play them on, you can emulate all those games the PS vita has on a PC or even better, SteamDeck.

Only thing coming to Nintendo platforms this year that im excited for.
