A better way would be set weapons, limited carrying space and weapons "dull" or degrade in damage output the more you use until you go to the smithy to "repair" them. Only a small chance of weak weapons breaking, but it's more like Monster hunter where a sharp weapon increases damage and a dull weapon bounces/deals less damage.
Yeah the Euro and Japan for me, it makes the game a true collectible, well that and it's lackluster sales figures. While I felt it was a missed opportunity to expand the game more (it needed VR missions too for example) it was an enjoyable remaster.
Edit: I nearly forgot that the Pal instruction book flips the colours to red ink on black so plays with the yin Yang/twin concept further. Also the art in the instructions is equally brilliant. The red in person is definitely not as saturated as that pic on here.
It's strange because this is subjective, I barely play Fortnite, won a few royals then was like meh, the gameplay did very little. However I used to be highly addicted to Unreal tournament 2003/2004, literally would play 12-16 hours straight sometimes at Uni, never get bored of out fighting other teams, especially on custom 64 player maps.
If Epic actually ever re released that, with the amount of skins in Fortnite, that would actually make the kids realise how mediocre Fortnite really is.
I think it is actually a lack of strong competitive competition that helps Fortnite so much, but at least there's even variety in those regards these days too. Never once thought Fortnite intentionally addictive. Highly monetised and attractive to youth, but not actually addictive. It's more down to people not wanting to spend money on trying other things, why people consistently go back, the creators making new content to make it still interesting to do so. Oh and the simple fact that because so many people play it gives you a conversation. It's honestly a made for kids soap opera.
Edit: Roblox on the other hand? That one seems dodgy to me just because of how meh it is, yet how it has such a huge player base. My niece plays and I tease her she's a Roblox zombie 😂.
This will be leveraging cloud gaming, they'll utilise gamepass, xcloud in order to spread user base catchment across "all" platforms, like Call of Duty actually intended back in the earlier Activision days. it was only ever "payoffs" from Sony and MS that ever limited platforms. That's my take as MS seem to be converntrating on widening IP regardless of platform, to A)secure the deal and B) knowing full well in ten years the platform will NOT matter. It will all be subscription services, streaming and account based, all the hardware will reach a ceiling.
Quite interesting with the carpal tunnel, because every off centre controller for myself induces this after an hour except the GameCube. The Wii U gamepad and it's Pro controller are the top two most comfortable controllers I have used. I cannot play the switch for long periods because of it's controllers, both Joy con and Pro cause cramp. Also, Nintendo should definitely bring back Miiverse as part of NSO, it would really help sell subs, to 60-70% coverage. It would be a great "kids" social media.
Old games easily delivered? Yeah but not by Nintendo 😂😂. I love Shigsy but he needs to smell what he is shoveling sometimes. Nintendo are so far behind on compatability, pirates make them look incompetent, not one of the "best" software houses around. I'd hoped that Wii and wiiware was the beginning of creating a lasting structure but that caved in with Switch. I have thousands of playable software licenses, but no new hardware to play them on. It's Switch's biggest turn off for me right now. Supplementing it with a timed service is a half measure at best.
I voted for Animal Crossing New Vegas. I just love how Tom Nooks casino always screws over the player at every opportunity and piles on the debt. It's the "Dark souls" of lite life Sims

I'll play some more, hoping I'm not killing bushes for 60% of the actual gameplay, but it's impressed and simultaneously disappointed, which I guess is an achievement?
Got the Masquerade edition and like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 special edition, I'm very tempted to sell it on, as the game so far isn't gelling with me. Suffering from 3rd game syndrome. Disappointing.
Been playing this for a few hours today and something just isn't right, nowhere near as slick as 2014s Bayo 2. That game was so thrilling I couldn't put it down and wanted to keep playing. @KevinP I'm with you on Goldeneye. I still play it, and yeah it hasn't held up quite as well as PD but it's still a lark and such an achievement for it's time. Alot of people judge things very harshly comparing them to games that were inspired by Goldeneye. halo is a direct response to the sales success of Goldeneye, it kept selling and selling as word of mouth passed around, so there was big money in FPSs. Half life popularised a narrative fps for a PC crowd that was much much smaller than the fan base Goldeneye garnered at that point in time, so while technically a "better" game, Goldeneye really opened younger players and publishers eyes to movie style FPSs. You only have to look at the following generation of Medal of honour frontline (aping Saving private Ryan) and Call of Duty to see Devs and publishers took notice of Goldeneye s success and wanted to build something as action movie like and memorable. That's my take on Goldeneye, it should never really have been as big a success as it was, but it really hit at the exact right time in gaming.
@Gravitron still the best wrestling game made. Revisit it on my N64 every now and then for a two player tag team, 60 minute, hardcore, iron man match with my brother, chaining TKO, tap outs and pins after the 30minute mark. Just brilliant fun.
While I enjoy Goldeneye, I still have it on my N64 and play it occasionally. So my pick is Pilotwings 64, unlocking birdman mode and just chilling out, swooping around the maps was genuinely relaxing once you'd mastered it. I should'nt have traded that in all those years ago, but then, that could be nostalgia clouding my mind. Always have a soft spot for my N64, and those sticks are brilliant as long as you look after them all 4 of my controllers still work a treat.
@SteamEngenius I still chuckle at shooting people in the foot and they hop around like a real person. Modern Games barely attempt it, which also makes me chuckle.
Only been waiting since Wii Virtual console, and now it isn't available to buy, but tied to a subscription service. Typical. They'd need more acclaim games and some of the Wrestling ones on the expansion Pak before I'd even consider subbing. But really really glad a new generation can try Goldeneye, an probably say it's rubbish.
@Don aye I believe you can set up save states, but it requires a little more tinkering than I have currently done. It emulates a memory card just fine and I am that used to that era of gaming, simply saving to the memory card seems natural, not like this cloud malarkey that occasionally forgets what device you were on (X1 and Series S, i am starring at you) if you aren't connected to the internet. In fact that's my main annoyance with modern gaming, the nearly essential requirement to be online, even in single player. Barmey
Edit: oh the joy of having an actual portable GC is not lost on me, it's ridiculous that Nintendo didn't put some GC games directly on Switch, which ironically some other publishers have already (SW Jedi Knight kind of). Literally upressing those old games and they still hold up. They could have done a whole budget Nintendo selects range of older titles running on Switch.
@nukatha that's very interesting as I was trying to log into my Nvidia account on Wii U a while back to get it to just stream the games. the Wii U has everything technologically to do it. I originally thought that was how Nintendo was going to be comparable with the power gap with PS4 pro and X1X. Nintendo could have released some new hardware comparable and have the Wii U use a streaming service subscription so it technically didn't fall behind. Integrate Miiverse into that streaming service and it would have been it's own social media platform. Oh what might have been.
I can vouch for GC emulation, playing R Racing and Star fox assualt again and they are beautiful games at x2 resolution, also Burnout 2 is still ridiculous fun. Makes my GCHD adapter for my GC a little pointless now as my USB C dock can take the Wii U GC controller adapter and plonk the image on my monitor. 4 player split screen at 60fps.
"it can't be!", What a Solid selection of games. If Konami do, it would be welcome on Switch too. I liked what they did with MGS 3D, adding in the crouch creep really changed the game, so an option to have that in 3 at least would be great.
Had my Wii U on yesterday and it didn't ask for an update, however earlier this year I was thinking, when they stop online for Wii U will they free up more memory and CPU for gaming? A big part of the Wii U was being able to pause your game, go straight online, which worked much quicker than Xbox one I might add, and look up guides, FAQs or just a random YouTube video, then jump straight back into game. The two main games which 'hitch' when doing this are Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade X, which need every drop of memory so use more than the 1 Gig allocation. As Nintendo already gimped the browser functionality and Miiverse closed (integrated into alot of Nintendo games), then soon Eshop will close. Will they then add a 'retirement' patch which squeezes everything into games. Wishful thinking. I will have another look later today after I top up, as I still haven't downloaded the BotW DLC for Wii U yet.
@cdmac the older Xbox one and one X support VRR. I can say from experience it helps. It's more like playing on an older CRT for motion, but with the advantage of the clarity of a higher res lcd. Pretty good tbh, but big drops still appear, itmainly irons out games with poorer frame pacing (micro stutter some call it).
After tinkering with settings for years, and then getting the options from steam deck, anything above 24fps is ''playable'', as long as it is perfectly frame paced. The optimum seems to be 48fps, double your eyes natural perception, as very smooth, again, as long as it is perfectly frame paced.
There's no point in shooting for 60fps and have it dip constantly, any drop of 4 frames or more is easily perceptible. It just doesn't make for a good experience. It isn't the amount of fps, it is the consistentcy, your eyes adjust, so when it fluctuates, you notice.
The good thing about ridiculously high fps like 120, is the millisecond gap is so small, that 4fps or more drop is much less noticeable/perceptible, so it will nearly always appear smoother. Even if you lose 20fps, which is nearly an eye full of frames! However, if all those frames are dropped consecutively, you would notice a little stutter or judder in the picture.
Edit: There's also a really peculiar occurrence with frame pacing. A readout of 60fps on the monitor cannot pick up stalls in pacing. I have had a game at 60fps 'appear' to drop a frame, but not in the readout. The game has taken too long to display the frame, so chucks two out, probably identical, hence the appearance of dropping a frame. Mario Kart 8 on Wii U actually did this intentionally, but so the duplicated frame wasn't as noticeable.
That's my take on things.
Like I have been saying since around 2013 when Shigsy said "we don't know what to do with F Zero". Perfect fit for a Battle royal racer which could easily have been free to play. 100 racers, one ridiculous death race track that changes monthly, or seasonally. Free to play elements could be fuel for your racer or just skins, new machines, parts, pilots etc. Sales tag line "The fastest Battle Royal ever". Bad racers last 30 seconds, good ones could be racing 5 minutes before the track (or opponent) takes it's toll. Progress through tiers by racing well, eliminating opponents and time racing. Possible limit on "tries" per day to encourage unlimited battle/racer pass. My two pence.
@Clyde_Radcliffe yeah but because it's a fictional creature they're never portrayed with genitalia so they are all certainly the very definition of non binary. You can perceive them as either. I always assumed Pickachu was an angry little girl, but loads of people identify Pickachu as a guy too. Anyway, Nintendo aren't new to creating interesting new creatures. As I edited into another comment, Shiver is a inkquatic creature, you don't get more made up than that so it can be whatever you want it to be.
What do people consider Yoshi is? I assumed due to it's asexual reproduction it fell into a Non-binary category. Has everyone missed this? Yoshi's been around since 1990.
Nintendo have already pulled a large amount of games and other publishers pulled alot of content years ago. It's impossible to get some games from my wishlist now. Still, I have a solid library of games on both 3DS and Wii U so in that respect I am fortunate.
On a big Ridge racer stint at the moment, grinding Ridge racer 3D for cars I missed/skipped. Completing PSP Ridge Racer 2 as I got stuck on some of the harder tracks. I managed to get my hands on a copy of Ridge Racer 6 for Xbox, so playing via BC and discovering what a solid entry that was. I'll also be tinkering with Steam Deck a little as the verified/playable appears to be meaningless on whether games run or not, for instance MHW playable, but the GPU dies after 40 minutes of play, Castlevania LoS unsupported and runs like a dream on it.
Honestly, this is the last game I expected a remaster from Namco, as their recent PAC man games have been solid. The one game Namco should be remastering, in my opinion, is Ridge Racer 6 or 7, get that on Switch with online and a few amiibo skins. Remix a few more tunes and add a couple of new tracks, it's time for Ridge Racer on Switch.
Yeah I used to use the browser on Wii U for YouTube, support for that was ended ages ago. I'd never even considered using the actual App as the Wii U had more than enough power to simply run YouTube as it was first intended. The Wii U was really solid on the internet side back in it's day. It put Xbox and playstation to shame, then Ninty gimped it. Still not sure why they don't let you watch Nintendo Directs on it anymore, even via eshop.
There was once a time when the amount of Megaman games released equalled this figure. Jokes aside though, good for the old Blue robot mascot of Capcom. We all love a tryer. I personally didn't enjoy alot of the Megaman games, the music however had some belters in, so perhaps a rhythm action game is where Megaman should have headed for the modern era?
@dimi the Steam deck is more comfortable than the Switch for long play sessions. That is my experience so far with it, Switch cramps my hands, so usually detach joy con (still cramps, but lasts longer) or use pro controller. Steam deck is as comfortable for me as the Wii U gamepad, six hours of gaming solid with no issues. However I don't condone in any way what has happened to new Nintendo games being pirated and emulated. Steam Deck has been a wonderful device in it's own right, it is so much more than a beefed up Switch. The fact it can also emulate alot of other hardware actually detracts from the true purpose, which is to actually get more Devs to consider Steam store as a key component of their gaming releases.
Trying to remember if there was any weird DLC for Fire Emblem I might want. I still need to get the DLC for Breath of the Wild too and probably a few other bits, possibly a digital version of Pandora's Tower. Although I noticed last time on Wii U eshop that an absolute load of games have been pulled already, which was frustrating.
I always had a soft spot for Knife edge nose gunner (it scored below average on release), the sticks precision was actually very good compared to what would become the standard of modern games. However that isn't the reason I would like to see it again. It would have worked brilliantly with wiimotes and could work well using gyro assisted aiming. With multiple players it was an interesting sci fi rail shooter. It's so obscure I bet the license is abandonware, so could be resurrected on the cheap. Still I've always got my N64 copy, as this would never get added.
Good to see improvements as I have been on the fence about this game since announced. Panzer dragoon didn't float my boat the way previous games have and I adored the house of the dead 2 on Dreamcast (and later Wii). Still waiting for Overkill 2 though, why Sega let that die at a HD port on consoles with uncommon light gun support (PS move being the most traded in peripheral around that period) is ridiculous and a true shame, still play overkill on Wii U (why did that not get the HD version at least??) with my nephew, now he is old enough for the profanity and vulgarness of it all.
Looking forward to Pre ordering the Artbook version. Also that price for Bayo 2 on Wii U? Just like to say CEX has it for £6 here in the U.K, so if you were fortunate enough to own a Wii U still in the U.K, it's cheap as chips. I may get the Switch version of 1 and 2 when they all go physical, just for collection sake.
Ready and waiting, looking forward to dusting the old Switch off to play this. Enjoyed the trailer, looks like it has some fantastic set pieces just like the first two games, couldn't really ask for more. Bayonetta actually allowing the demons to co-host with her is great, but leaves me feeling perhaps she will end up being a boss, as the demons don't always behave. In fact it all going wrong midway, leaving Viola to face off against demonically controlled Bayo and Jeanne could be the order of the day. Got a feeling this one's going to be big.
I found using a Y splitter to be problematic with games on Wii U, with crashes and load failures occasionally spoiling gaming. you can actually buy any HDD and plug it into a separate powered enclosure. Soon after launch I used a Buffalo drive station, but I backed everything up to 1Tb SSD mounted in RSHTech USB 3 Sata 3 powered HDD enclosure. This was well over a year ago and the enclosure was £5 and the SSD £50. Not sure on prices now. But I have two copies of well over 200 games backed up. I definitely would not recommend a Y splitter though, had loads of crashes and falling through game geometry. The Wii U isn't the most performant console in the first place so you need to give it every advantage possible.
Surely the 35th anniversary would be a good excuse to start a Metal Gear anniversary collection? I already own them all, but it would be great for people who have never heard of the series (there's more than you'd think) to have a compilation to dig into. They haven't actually aged well, but there's alot of elements that form the basis of alot of newer gaming mechanics. A Switch and a Steam compilation would be great (currently replaying MGS V on Steam Deck), like one of Psycho Mantis' Hints.
It's been a long 5 years and even longer since Bayonetta 2 (my favourite game of 2014, which had some belters release that year). Eagerly waiting to dust off my Switch to play this. Hoping Metroid Prime 4 gets a release date soon too. I Assume the in-game purchases could be costumes or multiplayer extras, as you'll need NSO to even bother with Multiplayer (was good arcade fun in 2).
Literally one of my favourite Nintendo portables, if it had supported Original Gameboy carts and GBC carts I could have retired my SP. It had solid production values and showed there was a market for such a portable. Otherwise PSP would have failed. Nintendo could have followed that premium ethos with their next handheld without the DS gimmick. What is more worrying is the design of the original DS following on from Micro, ouch it stunk, hence the rapid redesign.
@Controller-Drift I really enjoyed the Wii U, got 17 games at launch and looked forward to most major games releasing. It didn't help Switch's best game, I was already playing on Wii U (midnight download while my 2 Switch's were on the way). Don't get me wrong I enjoy the Switch, but as far as "biggest" regrets, that would be the weakest launch I have ever had. Remember the Wii U already had 1000s of games at launch, I spent the second day of Wii U transferring my Wii (with that great Pikmin transfer screen), it was a joy. Meanwhile Switch day 2 I was clawing for more to do apart from Zelda (which I had started but was further on the Wii U already). Then since it has only had a few games that I got into. I also had an Xbox one, so that didn't help.
I have had, SNES, GB, GBA, GBA SP, Micro, GameCube, Wii, DS, 3DS,Wii U and Switch. Only ones kind of regret is Switch, it hasn't had the same magic the other systems.Maybe it has a longer time to shine though.
@OrtadragoonX it's more I don't really use as much as I used to. Just a couple of hours on a console in the evening, boil the kettle a little, have a shower and cook. Heating is cheap as it is a cladded flat, so barely flinches below 17 degrees when it is minus 3 outside. They will likely try to demolish them in the next ten years as they were built in the 60s, but they've never been expensive to live in.
I have been turning everything off for a very long time. My electric bills are around £6 a month, so £72 a year roughly. Regardless, it is worth being more mindful of what you really use.
I would actually prefer a brand new entry. I enjoyed Zero but it was such a rehash of previous Starfox games story wise. We need something more like Assault with modern controls, graphics and actual co-op (the feature they had to cut). I'd even take something like an Adventure sequel to concentrate on the characters and exploration again.
I'd like to see all four games on Switch (battle for Naboo definitely counts), or even a ground up remake of Rogue Squadron, absolutely loved the Sullust and Battle for Mon Calamari missions from the books so seeing those reimagined with today's graphics would be extra special.
@ChromaticDracula Nintendo can make the Switch detect Wiimotes and the sensor bar literally needs power, so an adapter for wired bars from USB or a new wireless bar wouldn't actually be too crazy. With all the Wiimotes floating about, it would help the second hand market. It might help Nintendo too, as they could make designer Wiimotes in limited runs, for the people that like to spend money.

Always have a soft spot for my N64, and those sticks are brilliant as long as you look after them all 4 of my controllers still work a treat.
Re: GoldenEye 007 Is Returning To Nintendo Switch
@SteamEngenius I still chuckle at shooting people in the foot and they hop around like a real person. Modern Games barely attempt it, which also makes me chuckle.
Re: GoldenEye 007 Is Returning To Nintendo Switch
Only been waiting since Wii Virtual console, and now it isn't available to buy, but tied to a subscription service. Typical.
They'd need more acclaim games and some of the Wrestling ones on the expansion Pak before I'd even consider subbing.
But really really glad a new generation can try Goldeneye, an probably say it's rubbish.
Re: Random: Wii U Emulation On Valve's Steam Deck Supports Gyro Controls
Re: Random: Wii U Emulation On Valve's Steam Deck Supports Gyro Controls
@nukatha that's very interesting as I was trying to log into my Nvidia account on Wii U a while back to get it to just stream the games. the Wii U has everything technologically to do it.
I originally thought that was how Nintendo was going to be comparable with the power gap with PS4 pro and X1X. Nintendo could have released some new hardware comparable and have the Wii U use a streaming service subscription so it technically didn't fall behind. Integrate Miiverse into that streaming service and it would have been it's own social media platform.
Oh what might have been.
Re: Random: Wii U Emulation On Valve's Steam Deck Supports Gyro Controls
I can vouch for GC emulation, playing R Racing and Star fox assualt again and they are beautiful games at x2 resolution, also Burnout 2 is still ridiculous fun. Makes my GCHD adapter for my GC a little pointless now as my USB C dock can take the Wii U GC controller adapter and plonk the image on my monitor. 4 player split screen at 60fps.
Re: Rumour: New Metal Gear Solid Remasters Reportedly Incoming
"it can't be!", What a Solid selection of games. If Konami do, it would be welcome on Switch too.
I liked what they did with MGS 3D, adding in the crouch creep really changed the game, so an option to have that in 3 at least would be great.
Re: Wii U Receives Its First System Update Of 2022, Here's What's Included
Re: Video: Masahiro Sakurai Talks About Frame Rates In Games
@cdmac the older Xbox one and one X support VRR. I can say from experience it helps. It's more like playing on an older CRT for motion, but with the advantage of the clarity of a higher res lcd. Pretty good tbh, but big drops still appear, itmainly irons out games with poorer frame pacing (micro stutter some call it).
Re: Video: Masahiro Sakurai Talks About Frame Rates In Games
Re: Talking Point: Which Nintendo Series Would Work Best As A Free-To-Play Game?
Re: Random: Splatoon 3's Shiver Appears To Be Nintendo's First Major Non-Binary Character
Re: Random: Splatoon 3's Shiver Appears To Be Nintendo's First Major Non-Binary Character
@RickRau5 Shiver is an aquatic creature....
Edit. Inkquatic creature.
Re: Random: Splatoon 3's Shiver Appears To Be Nintendo's First Major Non-Binary Character
What do people consider Yoshi is? I assumed due to it's asexual reproduction it fell into a Non-binary category. Has everyone missed this? Yoshi's been around since 1990.
Edit: sorry I though about this for a second, Nintendo has loads, Priranha, Caterpilla, Kirby, loads of Pokémon are non binary like Jigglypuff, Pickachu. Fictional creatures/characters are replete with non binary attributes.
Re: Random: Masahiro Sakurai Reminds Nintendo Fans About 3DS & Wii U eShop Closure Dates
Nintendo have already pulled a large amount of games and other publishers pulled alot of content years ago. It's impossible to get some games from my wishlist now.
Still, I have a solid library of games on both 3DS and Wii U so in that respect I am fortunate.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 13th)
Re: Video: Bandai Namco Shares Pac-Man World Re-Pac Graphics Comparison
Honestly, this is the last game I expected a remaster from Namco, as their recent PAC man games have been solid.
The one game Namco should be remastering, in my opinion, is Ridge Racer 6 or 7, get that on Switch with online and a few amiibo skins. Remix a few more tunes and add a couple of new tracks, it's time for Ridge Racer on Switch.
Re: YouTube And Cruchyroll On Wii U Won't Be Available For Much Longer
Yeah I used to use the browser on Wii U for YouTube, support for that was ended ages ago. I'd never even considered using the actual App as the Wii U had more than enough power to simply run YouTube as it was first intended.
The Wii U was really solid on the internet side back in it's day. It put Xbox and playstation to shame, then Ninty gimped it. Still not sure why they don't let you watch Nintendo Directs on it anymore, even via eshop.
Re: Capcom's Mega Man Series Has Now Sold 38 Million Units Worldwide
There was once a time when the amount of Megaman games released equalled this figure.
Jokes aside though, good for the old Blue robot mascot of Capcom. We all love a tryer. I personally didn't enjoy alot of the Megaman games, the music however had some belters in, so perhaps a rhythm action game is where Megaman should have headed for the modern era?
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Has Leaked And Is Fully Playable On The Steam Deck
Re: 3DS And Wii U eShops Approach Endgame As Nintendo Provides Closure Date
Trying to remember if there was any weird DLC for Fire Emblem I might want. I still need to get the DLC for Breath of the Wild too and probably a few other bits, possibly a digital version of Pandora's Tower. Although I noticed last time on Wii U eshop that an absolute load of games have been pulled already, which was frustrating.
Re: Nintendo Reassures Fans "More" N64 Games Will Be Added To Switch Online
I always had a soft spot for Knife edge nose gunner (it scored below average on release), the sticks precision was actually very good compared to what would become the standard of modern games. However that isn't the reason I would like to see it again. It would have worked brilliantly with wiimotes and could work well using gyro assisted aiming. With multiple players it was an interesting sci fi rail shooter. It's so obscure I bet the license is abandonware, so could be resurrected on the cheap. Still I've always got my N64 copy, as this would never get added.
Re: House Of The Dead: Remake Gets An Update, Here Are The Patch Notes
Good to see improvements as I have been on the fence about this game since announced. Panzer dragoon didn't float my boat the way previous games have and I adored the house of the dead 2 on Dreamcast (and later Wii). Still waiting for Overkill 2 though, why Sega let that die at a HD port on consoles with uncommon light gun support (PS move being the most traded in peripheral around that period) is ridiculous and a true shame, still play overkill on Wii U (why did that not get the HD version at least??) with my nephew, now he is old enough for the profanity and vulgarness of it all.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Bayonetta 3 On Switch
@Hewitt pre ordered, thanks for the fast link fella. Happy gaming
Re: Where To Pre-Order Bayonetta 3 On Switch
Looking forward to Pre ordering the Artbook version. Also that price for Bayo 2 on Wii U? Just like to say CEX has it for £6 here in the U.K, so if you were fortunate enough to own a Wii U still in the U.K, it's cheap as chips.
I may get the Switch version of 1 and 2 when they all go physical, just for collection sake.
Re: Bayonetta 3 Trailer Confirms Launch For This October
Ready and waiting, looking forward to dusting the old Switch off to play this. Enjoyed the trailer, looks like it has some fantastic set pieces just like the first two games, couldn't really ask for more. Bayonetta actually allowing the demons to co-host with her is great, but leaves me feeling perhaps she will end up being a boss, as the demons don't always behave.
In fact it all going wrong midway, leaving Viola to face off against demonically controlled Bayo and Jeanne could be the order of the day. Got a feeling this one's going to be big.
Re: How To Prepare Your 3DS And Wii U For Retirement - Hard Drive, Battery, Backup Tips
Re: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D May Return To The 3DS eShop Soon
Surely the 35th anniversary would be a good excuse to start a Metal Gear anniversary collection? I already own them all, but it would be great for people who have never heard of the series (there's more than you'd think) to have a compilation to dig into.
They haven't actually aged well, but there's alot of elements that form the basis of alot of newer gaming mechanics.
A Switch and a Steam compilation would be great (currently replaying MGS V on Steam Deck), like one of Psycho Mantis' Hints.
Re: Bayonetta 3 Gets "Mature" ESRB Rating For Nudity, Gore, And In-Game Purchases
Re: Reggie Thought Game Boy Micro Was "A Nonstarter" But Was "Forced" To Launch It
Literally one of my favourite Nintendo portables, if it had supported Original Gameboy carts and GBC carts I could have retired my SP.
Re: Feature: What's Your Biggest Nintendo Launch Day Regret?
Re: Feature: What's Your Biggest Nintendo Launch Day Regret?
I have had, SNES, GB, GBA, GBA SP, Micro, GameCube, Wii, DS, 3DS,Wii U and Switch. Only ones kind of regret is Switch, it hasn't had the same magic the other systems.Maybe it has a longer time to shine though.
Re: British Gas Advises Consumers To Turn Off Games Consoles To Save Money
@OrtadragoonX it's more I don't really use as much as I used to. Just a couple of hours on a console in the evening, boil the kettle a little, have a shower and cook. Heating is cheap as it is a cladded flat, so barely flinches below 17 degrees when it is minus 3 outside. They will likely try to demolish them in the next ten years as they were built in the 60s, but they've never been expensive to live in.
Re: British Gas Advises Consumers To Turn Off Games Consoles To Save Money
I have been turning everything off for a very long time. My electric bills are around £6 a month, so £72 a year roughly. Regardless, it is worth being more mindful of what you really use.
Re: Star Fox Character Designer Wants Nintendo To Port The Wii U Entry To Switch
Re: Want To See The Star Wars: Rogue Squadron Games On Switch? Let Aspyr Know
I'd like to see all four games on Switch (battle for Naboo definitely counts), or even a ground up remake of Rogue Squadron, absolutely loved the Sullust and Battle for Mon Calamari missions from the books so seeing those reimagined with today's graphics would be extra special.
Re: Review: The House Of The Dead: Remake - Control Issues Gnaw At Sega's Arcade Classic
