I hope he's a mix of both Iwata and Kimishima. Kimishima, in my opinion, was the better business man but I liked Iwata as a person so much more because he was so personable. Who knows, this is probably just a pipe dream, but hey, a man can dream.
It looks cool and all, but I fear its hype has come and gone and that not as many people will be interested in picking it up as they would have been if it had come out earlier.
@Yoshi Ok, that makes more sense. Thanks for your knowledge. I guess Nintendo can be a little confusing sometimes. Here's a little something to prove just that. Enjoy! 👍 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSV4SOWTct4
The fact that the 3DS has been around since February 2011 and is around version 11 and the Switch has been out since March 2017 and is already around version 5 just baffles me.
@Shiryu I guess your right. Those who criticize should merely ask themselves, "Can I do/think any better?" If the answer is no, then the right to criticize is not their own.
Still don't exactly know what to think about these games especially as a long time fan of the series. It could be great but it could just as easily be horrible. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
@SmaggTheSmug: I could be complete wrong, but I think I remember one of the videos about the game saying that you could experience all 8 stories in 1 play through. Again, I could be wrong, but that is what I remember hearing.
How is it for a jumping on point for the series. The game looks like a lot of fun but, I don't want to get into something too confusing that would make me not want to play it.
@ilikeike: Oh man, I know how you feel about Wonder boy. It was pretty easy up to that point (not to say I didn't die, because I did), but once I reached that point I, no joke, had to do it like fifty times before I finally got it. In my opinion that is the hardest part of the whole game.
Just beat the Wonder Boy lll remake last night and had a blast with it especially since I got it for half off. I still need to go back and get a heart and a few pieces of gear but that can wait.
I'll probably jump back into Mario + Rabbids (I'm on world 3 and loving it) and play some more sky rogue (don't know why but I love this game so much).
Man, I might pick this up or at least try the demo, but I have only picked up my 3DS like 3 times since I got my Switch all the way back in early July.
@MagicEmperor: Yeah, what happened was I saw it and was like sure I'll buy that even though I didn't research it. That was a mistake. Now I make sure I diligently research every game I'm going to buy because I do not want that to happen again.
@maruse: Yeah, I didn't pick it up when it came out even though it looked pretty good. However, I would love to have the chance to play it on Switch and see how it is.
@maruse: Sorry, I guess I didn't phrase it right. What I meant was that the thing we think Nintendo will do, they don't, and they decide to do the exact opposite. Like you said I didn't mean to say it was a bad game, just that no one would see it coming.
What we need is the Metroid Prime Trilogy. It would garner hype for Prime 4 and to be honest, I just want to play them on my Switch. But with Nintendo being Nintendo, we will at best get a Federation Force HD remake.
This is the Mega Man collection I have been waiting for. While I might pick the original collection up in the future, I had the first Mega Man Legacy Collection on 3DS and Legacy 2 is a mixed bag for me. I have only played the first X game before and I barely played it at that.
I don't know about anyone else, but I personally wasn't a fan of Mario Maker on 3DS. The fact that you couldn't search for stages kind of ruined it for me. I had some fun with it for a little while but I eventually got bored and just sold it.
When I first saw it in the showcase I was kind of like, "Ok, don't care" thinking it was just another lazily put together puzzle game. However, now that I have looked into it, its now one of my most anticipated titles of June (among MANY others).
Oh man, brings back memories. I remember waking up every Saturday morning and turning on the TV to watch some good old Beyblade Metal Fusion to see what kind of adventures Gingka and co. got into that day. However, just like @MH4 said, I'll probably never touch this game.

Re: Meet Blast Man, One Of The Explosive New Bosses Coming To Mega Man 11
The bosses in this game are looking quite similar to Megaman 1's bosses and I doubt that's a coincidence.
Blast Man - Bomb Man
Fuse Man - Elec Man
Block Man - Guts Man

Re: Nintendo Download: 14th June (North America)
@rjejr: Yes, if you buy the gold edition for $44 then you with get both the base game and the season pass which includes the DK DLC.
And by the way, your not a stupid old man, Nintendo can just be a bit confusing some times. 😉
Re: Review: One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition (Switch)
I've got nothing against them but, it seems like there are SO many Warriors type games being released in such a short timeframe.
On a side note, this intrigues me but, I still haven't picked up Fire Emblem Warriors or Hyrule Warriors so it can wait.

I think it looks interesting but I'll wait until we know more. On a side note, Pokémon Quest is actually pretty fun.
