The toy-spinning action of Beyblade is going to make the jump to Nintendo Switch in 2018, with news that Beyblade Burst: Battle Zero is coming to the platform on 25th October. The only caveat is that's a Japan-only release at the moment, with a price tag of 6,280 yen attached.
The game is also getting a special physical edition, which will feature a game-exclusive Beyblade with every copy. So if you're a collector, this a must-have addition (so let's hope it eventually gets a western release). The retail version will cost 6,980 yen.

I used to love playing with these. I remember when they'd sell toys with DS games like Beyblades, so this is cool.
I'm probably never touching this game, however. 😂
Eh ?!
I thought this series just only on NDS & 3DS.
I didn't know Beyblade was still even around... :V
Oh man, brings back memories. I remember waking up every Saturday morning and turning on the TV to watch some good old Beyblade Metal Fusion to see what kind of adventures Gingka and co. got into that day. However, just like @MH4 said, I'll probably never touch this game.
Beyblade is still a thing!?
Beyblade is still around?
@Mando44646 @Aozz101x - This is my exact response, too.
And I am an older dude, I remember these being just a flash in the pan.
Oh this brings back memories. I remember making my own custom Beyblade and being scolded by angry parents when my metal-bladed Beyblade had shredded theirs (and their little cardboard/plastic arenas) to pieces. Good fun
I remember having a beyblade toy that my brother took to school one day and returned in a very mangled state. It looked like he brought one from a few years in future and I got it just like a week before. I got so mad I hid the thing so neither of my brothers would find it and damage it further.
To this day I have no idea where the heck did I put it.
Day 1.
I need this😂!
My kids used to be obsessed with those things. The games didn't do much for them, but the actual tops and the stadiums and what not, they were all over them for a while.
Beyblade still exists?
Huh
3, 2, 1, LET IT RIIIIIIIP!
I love beyblade but the games haven’t been great.
No! Burst is the worst season of the anime!
Need the let it rip action on my switch. Hope it releases outside of Japan
