@OorWullie No, I also thought that maybe the reason there isn't an ability to connect a bluetooth headset was because it would interfere with the Joycon. Those the aquariums are bad enough!
Um... that's a lot of money. I'm no developer so I may be completely wrong but it seems kinda off that they need that much money . Also seems kinda strange it would take so much more money for a port for the switch seeing as how everything else says it's extremely easy to port to.This is just really weird tbh. :/
Woah! This is amazing! Can't imagine how much work and effort it takes to cosplay a character, especially with this much detail. This cosplayer should be very proud!
I've heard about this game. I think it got pretty good reviews and a lot of people really liked it. Although I don't think this trailer did it much justice.
There's such a stark contrast between the months leading to launch for the original splatoon and splatoon 2. The original one "You're a Kid Now! You're a Squid Now!" and "Lol, look at these weird pop star squid sisters!" In Splatoon 2 "Omg, we broke a bond", "We split Callie and Marie", "What have we done!" XD
I actually grew really fond of Zelda's English voice. It was a bit awkward at first since there hadn't been proper voice acting in the previous zelda games and it felt weird. But after a while I became really attached to it. Don't really know why tho XD
This is why I love these features. They allow me to play with friends and family who don't have the skill to play certain games. For example, I've been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a ton with my niece and nephew. It's especially a joy for my niece since she tends to go off the track due to the item chaos and would usually come last place. We use to always play Mario Kart Wii but the problem was that there was too large of a skill gap and whenever I would lose (purposely) she would get upset that I wasn't trying my best. I've been having an amazing time due to this feature and I'm hoping for more of these features in future games to come.
This is really cool. Gives me an excuse along with the dlc to start a new game. I think I'll go with the Spanish (Latin America) as it seems to be the best overall dub. Although it's gonna be hard not having Revali's cocky voice XD
One thing that always bothers me with these fan games is how these creators seem to always forget that Nintendo won't allow the use of their IP. Honestly at this point, I feel like it's just a publicity stunt. Step 1- Attach a beloved Nintendo IP so they can get some attention. Step 2- Spread the word on social media so that Nintendo definitely catches wind of it. Step 3- Get a takedown notice. Step 4- Make sound sort of sad reaction and use the attention gained to further their game. I'm fine with games copying ideas and basically using the same gameplay. Just make sure you create your own IP and assets but have very similar gameplay. A great example of this is Oceanhorn. It's practically a Zelda game but under a new name and etc.
That's worrying. I know Ubisoft hasn't always had the best track record but that's rare for any company. They make some awesome games and every company stumbles at one point or another. Wishing you luck Ubisoft!
This is disappointing if this is how Nintendo treats some indie developers. However I think I'll still reserve my judgement until we can get a story from both sides (although I know this is not likely). It's easy to paint to sides as black and white when only one gives their perspective.
That's really awesome. I love it when people play along with jokes and stuff that the community make up. Also this should hopefully help further her career!
I honestly doubt any of them died. I betcha they're just sitting and waiting. Waiting for their moment to strike and bring down fiery revenge down upon us. Don't let your guard down! XD
Instead of a mine cart, you could always use a metal chest you find in the water or even one of the metal weapons you have in your inventory. Problem is that it's a bit difficult to control
@Tsurii Yeah, the detachable controllers were on of the biggest selling points for me. Being able to play multiplayer from the get go and on the go is really fun.
I think they really should have thought out a better way to answer those questions. The fact that they don't directly answer the questions and said to try the steam version makes me feel uneasy. Especially since I was considering buying the game but I'm not so sure anymore.
@Danrenfroe2016 Dude chill. It's probably some childish skit where he transforms back into an inkling boy and forgets he doesn't have clothes or something like that. There's a lot weirder things in media these days. Trust me. XD. Not really anything to do with culture.
I'm really interested ARMS. I don't think it will be as big a Splatoon but if Nintendo market it right and there's more to the game, then it could sell pretty well. I want to see if there's some sort of single player campaign. Maybe little mac could even have a cameo.
I hope the switch gets a couple ports. There are a lot of people, including me, who never had a Wii U so there are many games I would love to be able to play. Really want to have Bayonetta, Super Smash Brothers and Super Mario 3D World. It would be awesome to be able to play multiplayer smash bros and mario anywhere I go.
@King_Johobo Do you have enough stamina? The full coloured horses take a lot of stamina to soothe so maybe that's why. Try making some stamina increasing foods. Hope that helps!
@VENOMVSCARNAGE While I do agree he had made some questionable decisions, I'm glad he made the Nintendo I know today. He wasn't always in the right but he did admit his mistakes and even took a paycut when Nintendo weren't doing so well. He really changed the industry with his blue ocean strategy and he's the reason I ever saw my family and friends ever touch a video game. He pursued his passion to make everyone have fun with games and he was a fearless leader whom was willing to take risks. And whilst the Wii did have a lot of shovelware, it introduced a revolutionary new control scheme (motion controls) and had games such as Super Mario Galaxy, Just Dance, Wii Sports, Mario Kart that had left their mark on me. Heck, me and my friends still play Mario Kart Wii and we even put on some Just Dance when we're at a party. And let's not forget he did start the cogs to create the more modern Nintendo we see today. With his push for Nintendo to begin mobile games as well as Nintendo branching out with their IP (e.g. theme park). I probably had a very different experience than you as I grew up with the Wii and the DS but those Days were probably my favourite moments for being a Gamer and I'm so greatful for Iwata for creating these special moments.
I definitely think that this is meant to be a reference to Iwata. The fact that it's named Satori and how it watches and protects the animals of the mountain kinda reflect how the Zelda team thought he was still watching over them. I miss you Iwata and your legacy shall never be forgotten!
I was going to purchase this, but I knew beforehand how long the load time were on the wii u and one the reasons I was hoping to pick this title up was for shorter load times. Oh well, guess I'm gonna skip this one.
The best thing about the switch is how clear the message is. You don't need to hold one in your hands to understand how cool this concept is, unlike the wii u in which people are still confused. Can't wait for more games.
@Danpal65 Yeah, it's been ages since I've seen any sign of game. All I remember is that there used to be a GAME store in Colonades (Noarlunga) that used to go to. Never bought anything though because they were more expensive than EB games, and that's saying something.
I'm happy the switch is doing well. It's a great console and with more games, it can easily become my favourite Nintendo console! I just hope Nintendo keeps up the momentum.
This is actually the outfit I disliked the most! XD Its cool that it glows in the dark but the other outfits are so much cooler. One of my favourites is the gerudo male armour. He is both badass and beautiful! Lol
@TossedLlama Cartoons today are actually pretty good with Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Star vs The forces of Evil and Steven Universe. I think the problem these days there are so many cartoons, meaning we can get a lot more shovelware.
Also I'm surprised people aren't in love the BOTW's soundtrack. I'm personally loving it since it really is standing apart from other soundtracks in the series and the use of the piano is just gorgeous. The soundtrack just creates such a calm yet somber atmosphere when in the wild and the songs in the villages help illustrate that each village is unique and has their own culture and etc. Idk, it just feels so different yet so familiar at the same time. It just feels like Zelda.
Another bit of advice I would give is for how to actually ride your shield. To do so, hold your shield out (zl), move forward and jump with x and follow with the press of the A button. For some reason I never figured it out so I had to look online. The game might of told the player but I may have been too hyped to pay attention! XD
