I really hope dragon quest 1 and 2 get localised for release. I've heard so many good things about the franchise and I really want to get invested in it.
@Madden87 true I definitely see where you are coming from. But I personally feel we should have more faith in Nintendo for their dlc, they haven't disappointed me yet. Also thanks for the civil discussion
@KingofSaiyanZ if it really is just a hard mode where enemies do more damage then that is definitely dumb, otherwise if there is a mode which switches enemy variety, where they located and how food can replenish health then that would be worth the price
@Madden87 As I said before all we can do is wait and see. We can't determine if it's cut content without seeing all the dlc and getting proper details. I betcha like what @abbyhitter says, if this was announced after its launch, there would be barely any uproar but mainly praise. People just have the assumption that day one means withheld content.
@AirElephant if all dlc is a percentage of a game that is being withdrawn, what about the case of mario kart and smash? Why not release the dlc tracks earlier and why did it take so long for Ryu, Cloud and Bayonetta to be included?
PS: genuinely not trying to cause an argument. Honestly just curious.
I just hope the community takes the wait and see approach rather than already jumping on the hate band wagon. We won't know till we can actually get the dlc.
@19Robb92
Edit :Ignore everything after this paragraph. I thought that they included the entire unfinished dungeons but instead they included elements from them. Big thanks to @Seacliff for correcting me. Sorry for the misinformation.
Fun Fact (if I am correct) : the dungeons that weren't completed in time for the windwaker were actuallu put in twilight princess. That's why is has more dungeons compared to other 3D Zelda games. I know it's a bit random XD
@ZurapiiYohane64 The magical armour from twilight princess would be pretty cool too (as long as it doesn't eat your rupees away or it has aleast been reworked) .
@JaxonH Agreed, everybody is just jumping the gun saying that this is cut content and blah, blah, blah. It's like the community forgets that Nintendo has done dlc before and that is has been very good, fairly priced and worth the price. First we don't know if it's cut content ( which I doubt since it's coming months after) and we won't know until it release so some people need to learn the wait and see approach.
I'll wait for reviews before buying this. Never played Bomberman so I want to make sure I'll get my money's worth and I want to make sure there is enough content. Loving the 2D cutscenes though. Full of colourful personality!
On a Side Note: Suprised to see Konami make a decent looking game rather than another themed pachinko machine! XD
I kinda want to watch but I really don't want to be spoiled. Hopefully nothing too bad. I'm curious to see their thought process behind this game. It isn't just simply "let's break the conventions of Zelda!" I want to hear about how they meshed all these different systems like the physics engines and the dynamic weather together. I'm super hyped to play this game. We've seen these systems in other games but have never seen quite a large array of thing put all into one game. Just a little bit longer!!!
I'm glad to see a very different approach for this hardware from Nintendo. The fact that they're trying to accomodate for third party developers makes me really happy and how we've seen several developers say how easy it easy is to port to the system reassures me. It's awesome to see so many indie games being ported, but I do hope we eventually (and hopefully soon) see more bigger third party developers. Still very hyped for the switch tho!
I think the guy is doing a pretty good job considering the massive task he had to take on. We've already seen a very different and better approach with the marketing for the switch as well as Nintendo trying to use their IP in other ways including a theme park and mobile games. I honestly think he is doing a good job and we should praise him for that.
@WOLF1313 Yeah, its completely fair to be upset at the total offering for Mario Kart 8 deluxe. I was also kinda hoping for more tracks even though I never had the original! XD
I don't really think it matters if its a Western Development Team versus an Eastern Development Team. It really depends on the developers and their skills. There are gorgeous, amazing games coming from both. For example Horizon Zero Dawn and Zelda Breath of the Wild. Both the West and the East make great games and it shouldn't matter where the dev team works /originates from. (Although I'm looking forward to the debate that will arise from the topic! grabs popcorn XD)
There are a lot of people who didn't buy a Wii U and Mario Kart is a recognizable system seller so it makes sense to revamp and repackage Mario Kart 8 instead of making a new one. Hardcore fans will buy it due to portability and a proper battle mode while other like me whom never played the original will jump on this. I understand that people are upset that they are selling a deluxe edition, but I feel like people continually forget to realize just how badly the Wii U sold and that there many people whom missed out on the original. So to people like me, this will feel like a brand new entry in the Mario Kart series.
I'm really pumped for this. Never had a Wii U so having Mario Kart 8 with a revamped battle mode, bundled in dlc and the ability to play on the go is a must buy for me. Can't Wait!
I'm actually pretty hyped for this. I think its mostly because of the colorful art style and awesome character design. Those were the first things that made me hyped up for Splatoon.
Never had the Wii U so this is great for me! Still don't understand the negativity over a port of Mario Kart 8. If you already have it, play that version. This is for anybody who never picked up the original.
Awww.. This is really sad. I wish the best for his friends and family. As a kid I used to go to the Blockbuster store and always rent the cartoon, so it feels like I lost an old friend. Rest in Peace.
