@CaptainQuo I'm playing it on my sw2, running smoothly so far, at more than 10 hours in, and I'm loving the game a lot, skipped a lot of my backlog for this one ha!

Started Inazuma Eleven Victory Road and trying to complete Tears of the Kingdom so I can play the new Hyrule Warriors

Both great games, hard to put down the controller once I get into either, ha

@Teksette the first two games are absolute masterpieces, I loved them so much as a kid growing up and I still love them now

I have never tried the third since our old computer couldn't run it back then, ha! I guess it's finally time to cross this one out of my childhood's wish list!

Hmm maybe you're right, you just read so much smack talk online regarding this sort of thing it must've been ingrained somewhere in the back of my mind to expect the Switch to be a gen or two behind.

Though, let me clarify I don't personally notice anyways, so long as a game runs without any frame drops it could 24 fps for all I known I wouldn't tell the difference, but hey the more the merrier! d:

Surprised that it seems to run at higher resolution and frames than the PS4 and Xbox Series S, good stuff

Oh man, Vanquish would've been a fun announcement, I was always intrigued by it but never got the chance to play it.

I have to agree with him, you could go to the kitchen and sneak some bites or wait until momma Nintendo serves the dish on the dinner table complete with garnish and all. Although, the leaks were getting overwhelming on social media and it got hard to resist the temptation of sneaking a taste

Allow me to add to your pile of your recommendations!
I played one back on the 3DS and I had a fleeting interest in the series in general.
I did enjoy it, and even then this one is a massive upgrade, it's an absolute blast.
In general, I really love Level5 games, they just have a wholesome, relaxing feel to them

I only made a twitter account so I can share screenshots and clips from my switch to PC. I'm not really upset but I hope this gets sorted out or they add a smoother way to post things!

It would be cool if this got Nintendo to do their own thing cough*Miiverse?*cough

Its been so long since the announcement...
and oh my god was it worth it!

I'm loving the gameplay mechanics, the demo is a blast. I have yet to try multiplayer, I'm just playing the bots but my goodness I can't wait for the story mode.

Day 1 for SURE

When I saw Crimson Glow Valstrax at #20 I thought that was it for my favorite monster, but then we got Valstrax at #4 and I couldn't be happier!
Still, I'm rather surprised that Rathalos didn't make it and a bit surprised that Lagiacrus made it in twice, glad to see it though!

I'd love a Killer is Dead switch release, but pretty much everything mentioned in the comments above and I'm sold

@Tasuki Been dealing with them since 2019, not sure what happened to you but they've been great for me, pretty sure 80% of my switch collection is from their website.

Love the character designs. I'll always appreciate their artstyle!

Insect Glaive main here, I love Rise but the hunts are far faster than previous games I feel, and they're more action-ey and straightforward, but that's just my opinion. I'm just glad I finally got to beat up my boy Valfalk

I had beaten the original on the DS a while back before it was announced on the switch, so I'm very happy about this

Recently started playing Sunbreak
Forgot how fun MHRise was, absolutely loving the expansion

The day it gets announced I'll let out a hearty "yessss"

One of the highest JRPGs on my wishlist that I never got to try. A wishlist that has it next to the likes of Xenoblade X, Skies of Arcadia and Shadowhearts

Oh and yup I anticipate those more than I do new games and I'd pay 60$ for each of those, 90$ if it's a double/triple pack; so sue me d:

To each their own, I don't think there's a shortage in new games whatsoever

I really like getting the chance to play JRPG games I missed out on back in the day for not owning a Sega or Nintendo home console until the Switch, and having them physically in my game collection is such a joyous feeling to me. I try to avoid emulating in general; for no reason but a preference (and again, having a physical copy is what I enjoy)

Allow me to clarify, I admit that I'm definitely a part of the problem haha, I prefer remasters/rereleases over remakes, aside from a few QoL touch ups I'm happy with the game looking as authentic to the original release as possible.

I just don't think we're having a shortage of new games so that's a unfounded concern I feel, and I do believe the remasters and rereleases on the Switch caused it to have, what I consider to be, the best library in any console I ever owned, it's a freaking JRPG heaven, maaaaaaan!

My most desired remake/remaster/rerelease, if you don't count Xenoblade X.

I would really, REALLY, love to get a chance to play it. It's strange that there hasn't been a rerelease for it yet, in this day and age where so many pieces of media are getting rereleased.

It just kind of feels like a waste not to pull the trigger on this one, Sega.

Torn between Xenoblade 3 and Legend of Heroes Trails from Zero, so I gave both a 10

I'm also glad you said not to grind the game because I definitely would have done it out of habit

Also, lowkey, and I can get blasted for this, I have a softspot for games with fixed cameras, so I'm always willing to forgive that

I'm digging both, but I'll go with NA/EU for this one, I like the way the speed is portrayed in it. I do really love the details on the JP one though.
