We don't know when Switch 2 will be released...but I don't think Switch will reach this record before it. But, I think it will still sell well, and surpass other consoles.
PS2 sold a lot of unities after PS3 release (more than PS3 itself for years ).

@sketchturner It's because Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 are already sold on eshop.

I think this second half is stacked. If you dislike those games, it's not really a matter of "being stacked".
Being stacked doesn't mean it's "one game per month", too, it's a bit restrictive...

A variety of long DLC are awaited for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 3.

@Anachronism I have the same reasons as you, and prefer CD versions (there is more in Trinity Box).
Already paid, I'm happy, and just wait for the delivery in August !
This serie has my favorites soundtracs reunited, Yasunori Mitsuda is the best composer for me (ther is a lot of them really good, too).
Music is very important !!

I prefer the Nintendo Labo Edition...
