What I really, really want is an MSX Gradius collection. I know it won't happen, though.
On second thoughts, isn't it time for a proper, all-inclusive, Gradius collection? That could include the MSX versions, especially since the MSX has it's own unique Gradius II.
I had the VR kit. It got to a point where I hadn't used it for years, and the rubber bands for the reloading mechanism needed replacing. On top of that it doesn't even work with Switch 2. So I tried to sell it, but noone was interested so I recycled it.
I remember reading glossy British gaming magazines in the nineties, carefully reading reviews and making lists of which games to buy if I ever got a Sega Mega Drive (yes, I know this is a Nintendo site). I never got one, or managed to save up for one myself.
It's curious. I've never really been that keen on seeing what the fuzz (really wasn't) about at the time. Somehow I still can't resist the opportunity to see this part of Nintendo history with my own eyes. Day one then, in my case. And yes, with the full size replica.
Don't quite know how this came to be, but I've pre-ordered the full size accessory. Never owned a Virtual Boy. Never even considered picking one up. Yet here I am.
This is great news! Now I know for sure that I will be able to sell my Switch OLED that I only recently upgraded to. That will make my Switch 2 much more affordable
I think you're doing the readers a disservice in not addressing the fact that the game crashes quite often on the Switch. Infuriating if you've just played through fifteen minutes of dialogue which you'll have to sit through one more time, trying to remember your choices. One happened to me right at the end.
So, for Tears of the Kingdom they left a debug tool in (ascend). This time they left some of the level design tools in? (The ability to create endless numbers of beds, apparently)
Have all the Mario 64 I need, but I've never played the N64 Zelda or Paper Mario titles. Maybe I'll just buy them for Wii U so I get to keep them, though.
That said, if my Wii U HDD fails, I won't have them anymore once the e-shop is gone
As much as I admire Nintendo for putting games first, this year's E3 Nintendo direct made me feel most offerings felt dated, visually. They need new hardware.
The Is this retina-page is interesting. I've been wanting to make the leap to 4K gaming by buying a 4K projector, but at my viewing distance (about 3,5 metres) there seems to be little point in doing so. My HD projector is retina as it is, apperently.

If this is the final design it's Wii U all over again. It doesn't feel new enough. Some people won't realize it's a completely new system.
