I find it hard to believe that they got it to run well on switch (2) because my time with it on ps5 was kind of not great. The gameplay loop was fun enough but SOMETHING about the performance felt incredibly awkward and..strangely stiff? No outright framedrops but everything felt weird to the point I eventually just stopped playing after one or two runs of defeating the final boss.
If they actually figured out what was "wrong" and went back to patch that on ps5 I might go back, but it's not something I'm buying on another system.
Lame as hell, not gonna lie. Phantom mode is a neat idea, I guess, but another level of difficulty just means FURTHER inflated stats on enemies that already feel too spongy on hard.
I enjoyed playing through the game but it's still an incredibly weak release. Definitely feels like they made this JUST for the paychecks.
@StarCollector just for the record, I like playing as those characters in Imprisonment. But I couldn't care less about them. And the sages are unfortunately not much more interesting, as a whole, even though I love those four's designs.
This game feels half baked as hell in some aspects. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but half the roster are basic looking NPCs, the story has very odd pacing issues, imho, there's still not a ton of variety in missions and THE biggest issue with the game is that neither Sonia nor Ganondorf are playable whatsoever.
I hope whatever else they have in mind for these updates includes those two, because more weapons is not it...
Yeah, expected. It's an incredibly niche game within a...somewhat niche franchise. I know Kirby's popular but I also DON'T know many Kirby fans who liked Air Ride (or the recent online demos of Riders)
I know it can't be true but those demographics always felt like the circles BARELY overlapped for some odd reason.
The more I play it the more I'm actually thinking it might be the best Pokémon game since HGSS... At least for me. Gen 5 is close behind those, the sequels have a dumb amount of content but never truly grabbed me, personally.
It's basically the same general gameplay loop as Arceus but the battle mechanics actually elevate it, imho. They're not on the level of vgc battling, of course, but I like that there can be a certain amount of strategy to them in pvp and if you don't just waltz into every encounter with overleveled meta picks. And that breaks up the catching in a way that Arceus utterly failed for me. That game got HELLA boring after the fourth or fifth locale and as small as the city is, it was much more engaging to explore as I went through the game. Still chasing that shiny tepig, still playing pvp, I think I'm looking forward to the dlc.
It's entirety possible that my expectations were in a very different place because I managed to buy ZA for 30€ thanks to discounts and gift cards I forgot I had and knowing the game's laughable budget from those leaks a while ago; but it's a legitimately good, maybe even great, game in my book.
All that to say...i think this deserves doing well a lot more than previous efforts. Hope they take more from this into the next title than they tend to.
These costumes are alright. Nothing too crazy, but not exactly inspired/interesting.
I loathe the look of the Netflix one piece series, it's ugly as hell. That's why I'm saying the Zelda pictures aren't anywhere near that particular POS
I don't know the actors so I don't want to comment on the two, and I knew I probably wouldn't like this movie anyway, but the costumes are pretty...meh.
Knee-jerk reaction was that they're as comically awful as the Netflix one piece trash fire but they're not even in that same ballpark. They're "not bad" but this is also a pretty big production, I assume, and that just doesn't cut it for that kind of movie. I bet they wanted to play it safe for the initial movie, though, which I won't blame them for, knowing how some breeds of fans can act towards creators and actors in these cases.

Re: Video: Digital Foundry Reviews Skyrim On Switch 2, And Yeah, It's Bad
The fact that they have the nerve to meme about putting skyrim on yet another system and then f*** it up like this is hilarious to me.

Re: Divinity: Original Sin 2 Gets Surprise Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, And It's Out Now
I...think I have this? Someone once told me it's a good fit for switch, it wasn't so I immediately dropped it.
Might be worth checking out if performance is significantly better and if they offer mouse mode.
Re: Kirby Air Riders Dev Team Disbanding Soon, Game Updates Also Ending
The fact that "videogame is finished" is news worthy says everything about modern gamers.
Re: Nintendo Music Adds Another Yoshi Soundtrack, Here's Every Song Included
Wtf would CHOOSE to listen to this train wreck of a soundtrack?

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - SNES Classic Mini Console
Every time I see the north American snes I have to mention how f***ugly the button colors are.
Who decided to go with that?
