I’ve personally reached the end of my tether with character designs such as these, so I can understand the frustration.

The crazy thing for me is always how the design does not mesh at all with the personalities in play; from a story perspective it’s really jarring.

Something like Manuela on Fire Emblem gets no complains from me because of how her design ties to her personality, there’s clearly effort been shown there.

When a detective dresses like THIS; it just strikes me as lazy and taking advantage.

Obviously the response is to not play the game, and ignore it - review bombing is bad!

Sunless Sea is an absolute gem. Feels like a modern ‘text only’ game; visuals are there to accompany and boost the brilliant writing, gameplay is slightly performative but it’s absolutely worth slogging through to enjoy the world. Really unique, special piece of work.

She seems really fun. Big Star Wars nerd too!

I absolutely feel bad for them, but I can’t help but compare this to YouTubers who feel entitled to a livelihood on the platform.

I don’t think either platforms were designed to uphold people’s livelihoods and jobs, and it’s unfair to criticise them for not being able to do so - even if it does negatively affect you

How do these games ACTUALLY work? I saw hitman has a 98GB download size, so that's an automatic nope for me

@nimnio I do think there are elements of the game that are objectively ugly though - I genuinely don't think you'd find many people buying this game off the screenshots alone
