Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game is a game littered with popular video game references and to celebrate its return, the one and only Zion Grassl has put together a video highlighting all of these easter eggs and secrets.
Just a word of warning, though - before you click play, this video is filled with spoilers, as the easter eggs are sprinkled throughout the entire thing. So it's highly recommended you play the game first (if you haven't already), before watching.
Right, now that we've got that out of the way, feel free to click play on that video above and enjoy!

That gets me right in the nostalgia. Just need to wait until this time next year for my physical to arrive to play again though. Sigh
My favorite secret: First close out of the this game, go to the eshop, search for Fight ‘n Rage and then purchase it to unlock better beat-em-up gameplay.
The parking meters in stage one are breakable if you need extra coinage.
@SalvorHardin Or Streets of Rage 4 if you just wanna skip ahead and play the best
Do you guys have an advertising deal with the Studio of SP-The Game?
@DeclanS98 @SalvorHardin How dare you insult a game that I never played before 😡
@SalvorHardin ngl you’re definitely right. I loved this when it came out but after having played it again...it has not aged well at all in the gameplay department. The difficulty is entirely dependent on the leveling system. It goes from NES hard to a complete joke once you grind and max things out. The music and art still shines tho.
Fight n Rage may as well be the best beat em up ever made though. I can’t think of ANY other game in this genre where I’ve sunk like 100 hours in and am still not tired of it.
@SalvorHardin So glad you said that. I totally agree. I felt like I was taking crazy pills while everyone was going on and on about how great this one is. I loaded it up a few months ago and wondered if I could warm up to it again.... it felt so slow and grindy. The genre has moved on.
The Never-Ending Fantasy item might also be a reference to Endless Fantasy, the album that Anamanaguchi released, oh, uhm...after this game came out. Never mind.
