OMG I love Costume Quest and is VERY excited to hear there a second one at all. And to hear it will be on Wii U is just icing on the cake!

Ill be getting MK8 this week, and wait for Watch_Dogs Wii U version. But only because I have nothing else to play watch dogs on. And another thing, as I am watching watch_dogs on twitter it looks too much like GTA mixed with Dues Ex: Human Revolution. Getting rather boring to me actually. Less and less from me for Watch_Dogs

I was pretty sad this nvr got released for wii. But VERY excited there bringing it back for Wii U and exclusive! Although, those screen shots dont look 2D to me.

The Wii/Wiiu uses a sensor bar NOT a camera. This patent should be geared towards Sony for its Move and Microsotf for its Kinect. Considering NInty probably has much more money than the other two companies, this just seems like they need money and target only one company.

Its looks ok, probably would look much better with a different art style or a different engine. I personally thought the Zelda HD demo looked alot better.

I really havent use Miiverse in months and probably won't use it at all. Although i must say, they are really strict it seems but the way the online gaming community is now it could use some harsh rules.

Meh, i rather hear about one of those "new" franchise they said they had a development when they announced the Wii U at E3 2011. I have only seen 2 released and maybe 1 that hasnt been released yet.

That makes since, the presidents of each company own each others consoles lol. Like it or not Sony and Ninty actually get along fine.

The is on my radar for now, looks totally kool and a nice change from all the other genres thats been getting released.

@Peek-a-boo I how ever DID play TLOU and thought it was boring and not innovative at all. I own all three consoles and tbh, there are other games beside TLOU and SM3DW out there that should win GOTY. On THAT list I personally thought AC4 or atleast GTA5 won over both games.

Correct me if i am wrong, but isnt Sony like the only thing Europeans play over there? TLOU for me was boring and NOT innovative. I wouldn't give it game of the year tbh, but all these awards and such are based off opinions and said judges just happen to be Sony fans. And I am sorry, but when your awards show has a "Best British Game" on the list, there is so MAJOR favoritism going on here.

Umm i wanna know why the heck there hasnt' been anything said about Yarn Yoshi (which i believe got more hype) yet this game that seems like nobody wants gets more attention.

As long as we dont see the word "CANCELLED" come up, I am good. I am hoping they are serious and this game will be great on Wii U. Ill probably get it on Wii U because i will not own a Next Gen console because there aren't any games out for the consoles yet or by the time this game comes out. I have more games on wii u then there are games out for the next gen consoles.

I would rather have New HD games as the old ones were fine to begin with. Judging by the video,it wouldn't be a drastic change tbh. Most HD remakes tends to still look the same as the original game either way. Very rare ocassions like Wind Waker for example tend to stand out with the remake over most other HD remakes.

Now I have a question, does this also include the backwards compatibility of the Wii on the Wii U not having wifi?

I was they had an update for a streaming service on Wii U! Even partnering up with someone like Hitbox i wouldn't mind.

I REALLY wanna hear something bout a new Metroid or Conduit. GC virtual console would be nice. And certainly would like to know whats goin on with Yarn Yoshi. But most of these probably wont show up today :/

I feel like this is the same old stuff just different day. I buy Ninty consoles for Ninty games, not 3rd parties. I can play 3rd party games on my pc, just that simple!

Hold up, I heard that ME3 was a really buggy and crappy port on there effort. I am sorry but companies that make statements like this gives them a very bad image. Nintendo does fine w/out them anyway.

Yes, those two buttons were there before the update. So i wonder what the update did? They need an update to where the next episode automatically plays after the previous episode. All the other versions have it, why not the Wii U?

I hope they started on that Zelda U and SSBU early enough to get it released this Holiday season to pull Ninty out of this mess (of course it NOT being rushed). But i have a feeling for Zelda it wont be until 2015. But SSB probably this holiday. I heard form ALOT of people they arent getting Wii U UNTIL Zelda U is released and some for SSB.

Nintendo should be funding this! This was one game that showed what kinda power the system had in it and the story seemed to emerge the player in the game. It looked awesome with a great story. Its a shame it never got funded . hopefully it will someday

I believe there was a mod that inspired this? Not my cup of tea but interesting. Rest of the direct was not inspiring.

I really dont understand this considering if u play online or talk to others in miiverse your talkin to strangers either way. They really jus made themselves look stupid on this one.

@Savino To be quite honest, its a silly version of the Wii U miiverse. Much better and they didnt give the exact same features as wii u.

@JaxonH Its sad but true, i thought it was a terrible game when i demoed it but consumers today will buy something because it looks pretty reguardlees if the game is fun or not

For the record, the only reason for Knack surpassing 3D World is people blindly buy the game w/out demoing it first. Compare the 2 3D World is much more fun and well put together than Knack.

@Stubborn_Monkey My issue is I think they should have made a completely new IP for there first HD game on a Nintendo platform. Dont get me wrong, DK looks awesome and will probbaly be awesome but i personally dont think it should be there first game. Maybe there second but thought they should have made a more unique original and fresh idea .

@Hale-Bopp WEll, i think pikmin 3 was a great game, i think the issue with it was that it was too short. Also a lot people said Wonderful 101 was great, but judging by the people who owned both games, Mario 3D World was phenomenal!

@Peach64 BItter people are everywhere. Not saying I am defending those people, but if u think that's all that's in here why do you keep coming to this site in the first place? TBH some of the awards I didnt think some games deserve were because I felt like there were truly better game out there, and to be quite honest none of those games were Nintendo games. Nintendo deserved the awards it got but didnt deserve any other awards. There are people in here that have some sense my friend.

This was a pathetic decision on Nintendos part. Instead of showing new gameplay of a game people WANT to see, they show us things we've seen and already knew about. I was expecting Bayonetta 2,SSB, or even Yarn Yoshi to be a Ninty highlight at VGX. And instead we get an unwanted game that i still think shouldnt have been in development at this time.

So Nintendo won in best Nintendo game, Casual game, and Handheld game....as predicted.

So the game of the year went to GTA, a game which brought nothing new since the first game, go figure. Although i thought Last Of us was boring, it even should have been ahead of GTA, but i was rooting for Bioshock Infinite myself. I was expecting COD or BF would win best shooter and GLAD Infinite beat both of them out hahaha!
