Honestly I didn’t know a single gamer in real life who wasn’t extremely hyped immediately. Was a waayyyyyy different energy than Wii U reveal. Was pretty obvious it was going to be a blockbuster imo. People who doubted it either had Wii U ptsd or just the usual Sony/ms/pc elite gamurr$
I really really REALLY want a new punch out. or an hd deluxe version of 2009 punch out even. It's a top 10 nintendo franchise for me. sadly, i have a feeling they might have retired this series.
@UnseatingKDawg to be fair, the “switch pro” was a tall tale spun completely out of control by online speculation. The insider leaks always pointed to an oled.
I’ll believe it when I see it, but totally ok with just prime 1. The other two really aren’t that good. Bring on a prime 1 full remaster, I’ll eat it up
I played every day for about 9 months, with many of those days feeling like i was obligated. jumped back in when the update dropped, and honestly it feels quite refreshed. I've bulldozed about half my island just to have something to work towards with all the new items. It's a shame this stuff wasn't here to begin with, because it feels so much more complete now.
I think it's pretty clear Nintendo going to stick with the switch concept, potentially in other forms, for a good while. If their next console was just a better switch, I am 1000% ok w that
I've been saying this too. First off, it's like saying lazy astronaut. Game development takes a crazy amount of effort and planning, even horrible games. Its really just money at the end of the day. Directors and producers and executives and even shareholders sometimes decide how much money is going to be spent on any given aspect of development, and it trickles down from there. there's not n64 trees in pokemon because some guy just wants to go home early. its the result of a calculation somewhere way higher up the chain. blame execs, not devs
There’s no question that yoshis island is a better game, but I personally love yoshis story. I’ve never played another platformer like it, the structure is very unique. My only cons would be the floaty controls and the baby singing. Other than that, I think this game deserve more credit than it gets
I think the original pikmin on GameCube was the best, specifically on the first run. I had no idea what to expect or what strategy to use. Once I figured it out and I could just steamroll every area, the whole series got kinda boring for me. Like even pikmin 3 I just found myself doing the same exact thing, and it had been at least 15 years since playing the first one. Granted I played it on switch not Wii U, so maybe I missed out on what made the 3 captain system special
they absolutely whipped this up over a weekend. Needed those subscribers. Maybe they'll fix it in like a year. Complete waste of money, and definitely in the top 3 nintendo rip-offs of the switch era
It’s hard to say, because it is so relative to the experience itself. I absolutely would not put dread in the too short category. Metroid is so incredibly dense with content and progression, I feel very satisfied there. I can think of games were way too long, like luigis mansion 3
As someone who defended the original package, I can say without a doubt this offering feels like a major ripoff. Why not just let me choose which parts of it I want? I was excited for this, and I was willing to pay more….but more than twice the price? What a stupid ask, I don’t wanna play ocarina of time that bad

Re: New Pokémon Snap Took 'Many Years Of Trial And Error', Core Concept Could Have Been Changed
I loved this game. I don’t really see myself going back to it, but i thought it was a great sequel even if it wasn’t that fundamentally different
Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity's Development Was A Real Pain In The... Grass
@Rayquaza2510 for botw, sure. For this game? Totally not necessary

Imagine the backlash if they went with different grass
Re: Square Enix President Knows You Hate NFTs Because You "Play To Have Fun"
People who play to have fun are CURRENTLY the majority of players? Wtf is wrong with SE. I’m sure Nintendo is knocking on the door with this stuff too

Re: Talking Point: Should The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Library Expand Faster?
For that much money they should dump every single rom they plan to drop at once.
Re: The Game Awards Has A "World Premiere" It's Been Working On With A Dev For 2.5 Years, And One Guess Is Zelda
Hmmm don’t think they’d use the word premiere for something that’s already been announced and shown. May not even be nintendo at all

@Kirby_Girl hasn't Kirby already crossed the cringe threshold with Kirby right back at ya?
Re: Nintendo Is Eager To Utilise More Franchises For 'Visual Content' Like Movies
@BirdBoy16 I would want that actually lol. There is that one super accurate animal crossing anime movie, I'd love a whole show of that
Re: Nintendo Is Eager To Utilise More Franchises For 'Visual Content' Like Movies
They're going full Disney. I guarantee there will be an animal crossing movie or show before too long

@Lordplops lmao no def the other way around. Completed it multiple times nonetheless
Re: Video: Learn More About Sonic The Hedgehog's 8-Bit History
I don’t think I realized until I was older that sonic 2 on game gear was straight up just a bad game and that’s why it was hard.

I’ll probably start with none, but then gradually work my way to none of them. I will then spend my annual $30 on something else like rent
