@TYRANACLES Hopefully you're non US as I've been waiting on the inevitable physical release here in the states, Play Asia has them as coming soon but nothing yet. I say this because I ordered a Ragebound from Clear River UK because they had been up for a good while with no US release showing... So I ordered one and then two days later they announced a US release... I'm too lazy/irritated to cancel and order the US one at this point.

12 NEOGEO games/collections are on sale right now starting at $4.79. One the them is the Samurai Showdown Collection $39 normally, for $9.99. Most of them are the NEOGEO Pocket games, but the SamSho, Windjammers are from reg. Neo with the SS collection being a very nice deal.

This price increase by Hamster has really killed my desire to rent old games.

@Blast16 They actually go on sale quit a bit, I've picked up 16 or so and passed on many more. Normally when they go on sale they do like 5 or 6 at a time. Just mark them as favorite and you'll see them flagged when they are cheaper, usually $3.99. With that said, I've still picked up all 8 volumes so far, because NEOGEO.

Just getting ready to order this as an import, was hoping to see if it would get a US physical version or not? Have not seen it yet, but I'm sure I will shortly after I import it in.

Yes, that's what I was asking as I have the Japanese editions 1-4 with 5+6 on the way, all have English. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something where they were actually having a US release as I don't think they ever will.

To the best f my knowledge there has not been an English release in this series. Either way I now have the first 6 volumes from importing them so I’ll be good

@Solid_Python You mean with this controller or the Switch2 console specifically? I know you can wake the Switch with many such as the 8bitdo Ultimate 2C.

Wish you would have provided a pic with the ball tops on. Having a hard time envisioning the size and overall look of it.....edit... never mind, I went to Amazon and looked at their pics.

Pikmin 1-4 already out on the switch one, not sure it would be the best candidate with so many other games still missing.

@uncleMike And that is why the Switch 1 is my last console to collect for. We've seen it before in the comics industry, movie industry..... when at the height of their success they tend to implode... I was just hoping we'd get more time from the gaming industry via Nintendo.

@HalBailman well to be fair nothing has changed and it’s still stopping people who want to buy the games from doing so, so I guess it’s still an issue.

@Dee123 I want Nintendo to work triple overtime on a pathway to smaller/cheaper game cards for the Switch 2. That way companies will have better options. I want Nintendo to pull game key cards if that's not possible, that way companies on the fence will fall one way or the other, which means half will release a proper physical game. I want Nintendo so reduce their fee's to make the 64gb card as cheap as possible if that's all they can do. I want Nintendo to figure out a better solution than what they launched with. Those are a few of my thoughts on what I'd like Nintendo to do.

Well then, I'll more than likely not be purchasing this game at all. I'm a no go on Switch 2 key-card, 20% on a switch one purchase. Part of me says if they want to give me this ***** options I'll simply not purchase it at all. I'm ok with my Switch 2 just being the switch pro I never got.

Hope it gets a physical release and not a key-card or digital only release. I'd really like this on my Switch.

I was right there for a purchase.... what's that... a game key card.. oh, alright then, I guess I'm out. Maybe I'll see you when you're on clearance if that ever happens.

@k8sMum Personal opinion, if you're leaving for the day and know you only have an hour or two of away playtime, you don't need to take a charger. Second, if you're throwing it in a bag to say take on vacation, you're not really worried about your charger getting ruined in said bag. It's to protect things like screens and joysticks of which chargers have non. That's how I use Switch cases at least.

@Burning_Spear Right there with you. Nintendo kinda forced a retirement from collecting. I have a backlog as well, and honestly since I decided I'm not going to collect like I did this last generation I've actually put a lot more time into playing the games I have. I mean, if I'm being honest I probably have enough non played games to last me until I'm dead, so yeah... Nintendo forced my hand and I'm good with that. Will save me a lot of money in the process.

If the framerate held up on the switch 1, I think I would prefer it. The current game being released on the switch 2 looks like a lot of AI procedurally generated landscape, as well as the effects are way over done to the point of being distracting in my opinion. It's like modern day fighting games were there's so many sparks of color flashing you can't actually see the people fight each other. Either way, I'll pick up the new game because I'm a sucker for DK, but I do think the graphics are a letdown... even more so since they said the framerate suffers in some parts as it is.

I bought the other Savage Raven grip (one piece) and it's pretty good. Yeah you would have to remove it to dock the Switch, but I'm mostly a hand held player anyway. It makes the system feel very very solid. Probably going to pick one up for my wife at some point.

Issue with HDMI, HDR, 120hz... on my main TV.
Needs a grip case to make it "really comfortable". I bought a Savage Raven case which is good. It's light on its own, on the Switch 2 it actually feels heavier than my Steamdeck without a case, even though in actuality it's not.
Not a real fan of left side 4 buttons, I fixed this on my other Switches by buying different joy cons, which are not out yet for the Switch 2.
No Switch 2 games I really want at this point. And when they do release I only want to buy physical as that's my preferred medium.

All small things, even though as I stated I love it as Switch Pro. I like it enough that I've purchased 2 so far, albeit I bought the second for my wife to play along in games like Fantasy Life i.

At some point I wish developers would say "hey this is taking performance hits, maybe we should back off on the things causing the performance hits a little..." In this game maybe go from 7 million items flying everywhere to only 3.5 million... I don't see how that would effect how fun the game is. Hyperbole, yes... but the point is the same.

@OorWullie Agreed with this. I personally was very much looking forward to SF6 on the Switch 2... and then it was a key card, so I passed and will just continue to play it on the Xbox.

@Burning_Spear I agree, being a physical collector with a good sized collection of Switch 1 physical games, I'm pretty much out of collecting when it comes to Switch 2. My plan at this point is to have probably 20 or so Switch 2 games by the end of the generation, of which my Switch 1 collection is over 20 times that.

This is where key cards are going to hurt Nintendo in the worst way. Myself and I'm sure many others don't want to fill up valuable storage space with large games. Sure this one isn't that big, but it's showing where we are going. I'd much rather have 20 small indie games than one large game. Hence, I won't be buying it if it's a key card.

Mouse controls? It's the number one game I thought of back when the mouse controller was revealed.

So then Fantasy Life i, not only did I enjoy the 3DS game, I bought my Switch 2 with a physical copy of FLi knowing I would enjoy it. Turns out I did, so I quickly purchased another Switch 2 and another physical copy of FLi for my wife to play it with me. Yeah I enjoy it.

The article should clearly state what media the game comes out on. It stinks to look at a game and not know right away whether it's even a consideration.

No convincing needed here. I simply don't want them. I'm a physical collector, if they don't offer most games as physical on cart purchases anymore, I'm simply not buying them.

I love all these old retro games, but if I'm being honest $15.00 for a digital download is already asking a lot. Couple that with it being an old retro port and I'm thinking it's a bit much. When they are selling these at $7.00 it seems much more feasible, I might even go to $10 if the games right.

I know everyone is looking forward to Gex 2 and 3, but being a Panasonic 3DO owner, I used to love playing Gex the original. I'm sure it will bring back some good memories. With that said, how long before Amazon gets LRG games? I ask because I'm just now realizing everything I ever special order ends up on Amazon, so I'm holding off on the pre-order. Pre-Ordered NG Ragebound because I saw the article here, couple of days later I see the US release is now up and I can't cancel my PO.

@Baker1000 Not that it will make you feel better about your purchase, but I picked up an extra 1TB card a while back expecting I would use it for my Switch 2. Could have been using it all this time in Steamdeck or Switch OLED... oh well, live and learn I guess.

Being a collector, I can honestly say I'm going to try and purchase zero key-cards this generation. Will I achieve this, probably not, but it's my goal. On the switch 1 I purchased physical copies even if the game was better played elsewhere. This generation, if it's on a key-card I'll either get it on xbox, PS or buy it cheap on steam.

Got my physical copy and my Switch 2 pretty much at the same time. Absolutely loved the first one and this one looks like it's going to be just as addicting. The Import comes with the code for the free charm and other stuff, I just wish it worked in this region.

@Stormcloudlive I bought my Switch 2 mostly for the reason of playing my huge backlog of Switch 1 games. Honestly there's a lot about the Switch 2 I don't like, but it's a perfect "Switch Pro"...

Monster Hunter Stories 2 is actually worth the effort of playing it now. On switch 2 I'm pretty smooth

Finally got into text adventures on the switch within the last month, so this might be coming at the right time.

@JohnnyMind Same here, says it shipped from overseas like 4 or 5 days ago, so it might be pretty close. I picked it up when it was $50, but it looks like the next day they raised it to $60, so even with that I got a decent deal.

VF is one of the best fighting games out there, vastly underrated.

"It makes you use motion controls", I mostly played it with a controller. I tried the motion controls and they were pretty cool, just not my thing.

Honestly, I'm not trying to be a grammar cop. For the last couple of years I've noted that so many of the articles here are just plain poor quality in their editing. This one for example:
"In other Street Fighter 6 news, the for this game are now on sale. ". I know it's a very small thing, but isn't that what copy editors are for?

100% this. My Switch 2 will be used for:
1. making my current switch 1 library better
2. the few franchises I have to have... ie. FE, MH, Xenoblade
3. anything else that's really cheap but really good

It seems the switch 1 will be my last generation of mass collecting based on what I've seen of the switch 2 so far.

@speed_loafer Yes, I'm one of them. I love DK, I don't think this game looks very good. It looks like a lot of flying particles and cheap throw away levels made to just smash smash smash and then smash some more.... Just watching someone else play it, I got tired of seeing the 6,oooth piece of gold being picked up. Honestly, I was really looking forward to it, but after seeing it I was less than impressed. Ahh well, I'm sure it has its audience.

Way back when, I used to buy Sony consoles and then Sony came up with the wonderful idea of charging a ***** ton for the console and saying consumers would pay the price no matter what it was because it was a playstation. They'd mow lawns, or get a second job if needed... Yeah, the PS2 was exactly the last Sony console I've paid for since.
