@fullyilly Downloaded. Played the first level. Loved it. Really have taken to the art style and the voice acting and music is really good. Had an odd smile when I realised I could kill someone by throwing a corpse’s head! Really hope this game does well for you.
@nobboysbro Thanks, I think I will. I was away from gaming when it hit initially and never hugely appealed, yet I just love playing games portably on Switch and to me this game appeals to me as a portable one.
Great news. Haven't played either but am intrigued by them now - regarding Isaac, after playing Darkest Dungeon and now Has-Been Heroes, I have a new desire for rogue likes.
@popey1980 Shine a light as you pull the right stick down you'll see it in the top of the rim. I got it cheap via Very, I was 'very' lucky, they had a new customer £30 off offer and little stock, use HotUKDeals all the time, they are great for discounts.
Just looked at mine and that made me so happy! Also, getting the controller for £35 made me even happier. It's a great controller and will be awesome for Splatoon!
The start of my Nintendo love! Having been both a Commodore and Mega Drive player before, getting the N64 was awesome. Love that 20 years on I now take the day off work to rejoice in launch day.
Also, so glad Sterling rate on Switch seems to not be too painful! 1.50 less per 10 looks to be an ok conversion, thought it might have been level this gen!
So tempted to double dip on both of these. Barely played the Fast DLC but the game was priced so fairly I'd happily buy again. I struggled with Shovel Knight on 3DS but loved it, may need the Switch version.
@MarcelRguez Yeah saw that as well. That's really positive as I spend a lot on these download only games on PS4, if I can get them on Switch that's money going Nintendo's way as this being portable would be awesome!
Really recommend their twitch stream yesterday as well. They were playing for half an hour on the Switch. They make it sound like porting will be really easy.
@alasdair91 unfair way of me putting it I guess but yeah I have prime and I got LOZ and 12 Switch and used their recent £10 off (actually I used multiple amazon accounts to get a number of games £10 off that day!), so effectively worked out at £28 for that and ) £41 for Zelda.
@WeeManStudios Really enjoying it so far! Also visually on the n3ds it looks really good and the 3D is used very well. Will definitely leave a positive user review.
@DonkeyKongBigBoy Probably not, unless I can get it cheap I kinda just like the novelty of the thing and having it out, whilst awkward, allows me to see the thing properly. It's just really cool having a tiny NES sitting there!
@DonkeyKongBigBoy Short for sure, but I sit about 2 metres from my tv and my TVs hdmi is via a breakout box that also has a USB so the nes sits well on my coffee table. The emulation on my 4K tv it looks beautiful in pixel perfect mode.
Think I'll get a 64 until I get a library up and going and the hopefully the large ones will be cheaper (I'll be buying any retail games at retail anyway!).
