Yeah Im excited for Rise and I've never properly got into a Monster Hunter game.

Hopefully Nintendo will drop something Zelda related (maybe a collection) after this fiscal year. Something is definitely happening after the anniversary limited editions get taken down...

Mario 3D All Stars and Age of Calamity are the first full price console games I've bought in about 2 years and they were great.

I actually really dislike Link in BOTW for some reason.

I like the voice acting and the actress I'd just have rather they had characterised Zelda differently in Breath of the Wild. I don't think she should be so vulnerable.

I don't think voice acting is a good fit to the Zelda series anyway though. I'd rather honestly have text bubbles.

Pirates Curse is easily the best in the series for me.

@GrandScribe I don't see how they could make conventional controls work with Skyward Sword? The puzzle solving and combat is linked to the specific motion controls.

A Skyward Sword remake would have to work on Switch Lite...

Exactly. I don't know why so many people keep talking about a Skyward Sword remake, even people who talk about games for a living have been beating the drum about it for months.

The game would have to be completely remade. It wouldn't be the same game. Also, who said EVERY Zelda game needs a remake anyway. Let them work on something new.

I just put a new shell on my gba sp, so might play through the underrated lotr the two towers which is a diablo style hack 'n' slash with tons of loot and potential to level up. Either that or a three heart challenge in ocarina of time 3d.

This is probably years away but good to see.

BOTW 2 and a retro collection. There's no way they'll put in the effort to remake anything.

I might give this a try. Timespinner and Chasm didn't review too well on Nintendolife and those are two of my favourite metroidvanias.

I hope Nintendo don't start out their ip...

@invictus4000 A return to a pixel art style and its day one for me. I really liked Risky's Revenge and Pirates Curse but 1/2 Genie Hero just seemed generic. I havent even picked up Seven Sirens because of the art style and the gameplay/physics that come with the style.

3D definitely...probably because Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda.

I still think its a little retro powerhouse. The N64 Zelda's, Pokemon and VC games make it essential even now.

The wii version is actually a good game.

Pirates Curse is the best...especially the 3ds version because of the 3d effect.

1/2 Genie Hero was ok, and Seven Sirens looks like it does nothing different. Wayforward should create a HD pixel art style for the next game.

Who is "the fortune teller" from BOTW lore?

I actually think the most likely scenario is that its either Vaati or a new villain. I mean he's dressed like Vaati, his face looks like Vaati's and the eye on the headband looks like the eye of the final boss in Minish Cap. If it is Vaati this will set up some epicness in BOTW 2.

@aray03 That would be so awesome if it is Vaati, he's a great antagonist and has never been in a 3D game. I'm going to watch out for spoilers from now on.

£50 is way too much. Maybe Nintendo has some amazing games lined up for 2021, because at least that would slightly numb the blow of what a let down this year has been in terms of first party games.

Don't get me wrong I love 3D Mario, 64 and Galaxy are in the top 10 games ever made (by a lot of peoples standards), but the output and information, from Nintendo, on whats coming has been poor.

Hope Age of Calamity smashes it though.

I bought a Super Mario Land box and manual for £5 on ebay recently. The manual was genuine but I'm not sure about the box. It looks good though and is the next best thing I guess.

I have the original cartridge from like 1992.
