I know this a coincidence but it does seem like this is a conspiracy.

Skyward Sword had some good ideas. But the actual surface was boring. When I originally played it I kept thinking 'ok, now the games going to start' but it never did. To be fair the story was good, and the side quests in skyloft were also fun.

I beat Kolotos and didn't have the desire to carry on after. Its the only 3d zelda I've never beaten. I do think its a good game and I do want to pick it up again to finish it, but £50? This should be £20.

Ocarina of Time, in all its incarnations has had such an impact on my life and helped me in so many ways but up until like maybe 5 years ago I thought the Hylian Loach and sinking lure were a myth until I came upon the item in (virtual) real life and caught the loach! I literally thought the loach was up there with obtaining the Triforce and getting Ganondorfs horse! How wrong was I. Who knows what other secrets this game holds...

OK, so it's not going to be that easy. Its not the end of the world lol.

The 3ds is my favourite system for two main reasons; Ocarina 3D and Majora's Mask 3D.

Plus the retro Pokemon games, Resident Evil Revelations, a slew of great indie games (Xeodrifter, Shantae, Shovel Knight), backwards compatability, and the greatness that was Miiverse.

The 3ds was a refuge for Nintendo fans during the dark days of the Wii U. It was an underdog that suffered at the start but fought on until it made it.

Last thing to add; Heroes of Ruin is massively underrated and everyone who likes hack an slash dungeon crawlers should play it through.

@JohnnyC Yeah same. I just thought that with the new movie being call Rogue Squadron they might leave the release of the game version namesake until closer to release of the movie.

Are there any barriers in the way to that happening?

This game came out a weird time for me. I thought it was great though, loved how you could customize the ship. Plus Linebeck is so funny and has a great character arc.

The handheld and console teams are now all working on switch titles and we're getting less content than when they were two separate teams.

Chrono Trigger DS is really expensive now. Glad I have that gem.

You never know with Nintendo.

Pokemon needs a complete reboot.

Lol, the monster hunter one? Yh looks good. I'm not a massive monster hunter fan though. I've played the rise demo an seems cool, but haven't ever really gotten into monster hunter. The Mario red/blue one looks good though

Not if you include the remake of Majora's Mask. Plus the Wii Virtual console sales, the Gamecube collectors edition ect.

I literally just bought this about two hours ago. Its downloading. Am HYPED.

In my opinion the first one was on par with Majora's Mask in terms of weirdness and cryptic messages.

If there is a collection of Zelda games for the 35th Anniversary it'll be the original ocarina of time (N64), Wind Waker (Gamecube), and Twilight Princess (Gamecube).

I don't think they'll put the HD remakes in a collection. People get carried away like its Nintendo Xmas every month.

I would love to see just ocarina of time and majora's mask in a limited edition bundle. I don't care if it the originals or the 3ds versions. How can those games not be on the Switch in some form almost 4 years after launch? Final Fantasy 7 is even on Switch.

Can you buy the physical edition if you're not a backer? I definitely want to pick this up for my re-shelled gba sp. Just hope its accessible and fun!

I think the 3DS died waaaaayyyyy too soon. Even the Vita still has new games being released.

I had a 'fire orange' N64 as a replacement for the original that broke in around 2001.

I don't know why my parents were so adamant to get a replacement when the Gamecube was around the corner.

Wish I still had the orange console though...literally am really pissed off about it. Its worth money now too.

I actually thought the red Wii mini looked really cool. I want to get one just for the novelty.

How long is the demo? Also what is the best 3ds monster hunter game for a newcomer?

I'm playing the original Ocarina of Time (Wii VC) and Ocarina of Time 3D in parallel (3 heart challenge in both). So far the original has a much more rustic aesthetic and controls aren't as fluid so its a little more difficult.

Dark Link is muccchh harder in the original even if you don't z target. I can see why people would prefer the original, but there's so many QOL improvements in the remake.

I know the Switch is doing really well, but I'd really like a dual screen successor to the 3ds thats backwards compatible with 3ds and ds.

I would pick up Origami King, but its £50.

Is Sticker Star worth a playthrough as it's only £16 on the Eshop?

What is it about the series that people like?

I've never played a Paper Mario game, but from the comments it seems that Nintendo has led the series down a path that the fans don't want.

@Rubbercookie Even though I loved Revelations on 3DS when it first came out, I honestly can't go back to playing it on its original hardware. The controls are too awkward. The console versions (and Switch) are so much better.

I've never played the second one but am really tempted to pick it up on Wii.

Planning on finishing a 3 heart challenge of Ocarina of Time 3D tonight.

First played that game Xmas 1998 when my older brother got it when I was like 7. It was so awe inspiring back then.

@Gamerdudesteel I agree, Ocarina of Time, Majora's mask, and Wind Waker have best Zelda stories for me; if only because of the atmosphere and minimalism the games build.

The truth is that voice acting in Zelda is cringey.
