My brother had a megadrive and I remember Vectorman, Street Fighter 2, and Golden Axe as the first games I ever played.

This theory was one of the ridiculous things ive ever heard in relation to Nintendo...but then again there other examples of crazy theories like this to do with Ninty.

Why are people pulling out the torches and pitchforks for this? What damage did leaking two images really do to the Pokemon Company? A minor stratch. How can people say that this serves them right? They probably earn minimum wage and did it not realizing these consequences. I 100% feel bad for them, not a scratch to PC. Plus, their games are s*hit this generation and last.

Well the games s**t with no minimal effort put into development anyway.

If the company wants to be lazy and serve out low quality products I don't care how much it gets leaked.

@anoyonmus Maybe get a Gamecube controller which works on Wii and pick up Wind Waker or Zelda Collectors Edition (it includes Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask). Theyre Gamecube games but work on Wii since it's backwards compatible. Those are three of the best video game experiences ever made.

Great review, really conveys how the game generally feels and plays to someone who hasn't played this specific Mana game.

I find all the Mana games weird to be honest. I got really far into the original Trials of Mana and loved it, but didn't 'get' children of Mana at all and Sword of Mana, on the GBA, seemed great at first but then I realized I couldn't save because I was playing a reproduction cart that didn't have a save feature (not the games fault).

The Mana games are so stylish though, and give me the same inquisitive sense of wonder as the Zelda series.

This specific title looks great artistically, and the fact is side quest heavy and has a strange gameplay loop makes me want to try it.

Is it kind of like the Majora's Mask of the Mana series?

I'm definitely picking it up when I have spare money but I worry the combat isn't satisfying (real time ala tales of puts me off).

Will probably wait for a sale.

I'm picking this up because I never finished the original, but half of Nintendo games seem to be remakes or ports this generation which is very disappointing AND illogical considering they have combined their console and handheld divisions.

£50 for a GBC game with Links Awakening, £50 for a GBA game with Advance Wars, £50 for 3 bare bones ports that anyone can easily play on an emulator for free.

Nintendo sure does love f*****g over the customer.

@Lyricana Yh M2 are good, the 3D Megadrive Sonics on 3ds are great.

Trials of Mana in the Mana Collection was such a classic, great to play it after it kind of went under the radar in the west when it released.

M2 are also doing the Legend of Mana remake (I think), really looking forward to that game.

The graphics don't look up to 16-bit standard. A Castlevania DS collection would be awesome though. Also, I've never played SOTN does Sony have the license or something?

This looks great. Hope Europe gets something similar.

Only letdown is Zelda isn't coming out this year.

I own the limited edition wii version and its great. Feel bad for what's happened to Naka recently.

I love games, and I'm probably best at smash, mario kart, Fifa and Goldeneye. I also love a good metroidvania and Zelda game, although I'm not the best at puzzle solving or pulling out sikk moves on Street Fighter.

What about Rodea the sky soldier...give this guy some hope at least.

A Zelda turn based RPG would be aewsome.

I'm just hoping BOTW 2 gets a title and a Zelda Switch collection is announced.

Damn, that is an insightful and epic post. In my opinion Ocarina of Time is magical, literally so much of my life revolves around that game in different ways. In 500 years, if videogames ever properly go mainstream it will be seen as the masterpiece that it is.

Arceus looked promising but such an early release date is worrying. I actually hope it gets delayed a few months, if Game Freak ever do that?

Plus, I hope Arceus release date doesn't relate, in any way, to when BOTW 2 is released. That has to come out this year.

@johnvboy Don't get me wrong I like the amibo, but this remake has so few new features that locking the quick travel mechanic behind physical DLC just seems very frugal of them.

I'll probably end up picking up the game anyway and enjoying it. SS is the only 3D zelda I never finished. I think it had really interesting side quests involving the villagers in skyloft.

This move is a big f you from Nintendo to fans.

Damn, this article bring back nostalgia for the game boy colour. Sunny summers in Spain with Pokemon and Super Mario Land. Perfecting your team and raising a dragonite. The amount of work that took.

@Shadowthrone I'd love to pick up Pirates Curse for 3ds physical. It's getting expensive though. Pirates Curse on the 3ds has 3D. Defo one of the best uses of 3D on 3ds.

The second and third are the best imo. I didn't like Half Genie Hero as much and haven't even picked up Seven Sirens yet.

The original must have been awesome in its time though.

What are the paddles for?

Why would someone buy this when you can buy a switch lite for just $50 more and then just emulate the software that this is capable of running on your phone. Better yet, buy an 8bitdo bluetooth controller and use it to play the software on your phone.

I just about managed to reshell a gba sp i had, although Id like to learn more skill to do with customizing hardware.

I dont understand why you'd pay 3 times the price. Doesn't the EZ Flash Omega do exactly the same thing as this? I haven't picked either up but i really want to get to get a decent flash cart for my reshelled GBA SP which looks cool in its black an blue dichotomy that its expressing...lol

I think you're the only person that I've ever heard say that but it's actually a really good idea. I like 3D as well and face tracking on a switch pro to make the 3D consistent even with movement would be awesome.

It would require a lot of power though to send double the image.

And I love Phantom Hourglass, Linebeck is the best Zelda NPC since Dampe.

I'm sorry but this game is utterly and completely broken because the pan pipe mechanic simply DOES NOT WORK...

Great article Kate. I think it really captures the wholesome essence of Minish Cap. For me I got Minish Cap as a Christmas present in 2004. I must have been about 13, the game really enthralled me like no other GBA game. It was my first 2D and handheld Zelda and the first 2D Zelda game I finished. I remember Vaati being really difficult at the end of the game.

Luckily if you're a 3ds ambassador this game can be in your library. Still...wish a I had the original box. It's worth money now.

How do I assign buttons to my 8bitdo sn30 pro when connecting it to M64Plus FZ Android N64 emulator? The button layout is all out of wack.
