So glad we get more of Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who played Shang Tsung in the first MK movie. I was disappointed he only had a few lines in the Krypt, now we get him front and center.

@NintendoPok EA has a huge backlog of great games, even today. I mean to say that other people say that not me. I don't like their practices, but their games are mostly really good. Battlefront 2 was damn good after the loot boxes were taken out. People will complain left and right as their sitting there watching the end credits roll on a game they swore they'd never buy.

@TheNewButler More like Xbox 360. The PS2 doesn't look nearly this good. This game would bring it to its knees.

The game barely has any content and it's almost out of Early Access on Steam. I've held off for a couple of years now because of how bare bones it still is.

@Old_Man_Nintendo They haven't added loot boxes to any games since Battlefront 2 and they already removed those long ago. Loot Boxes are dying in console games, thankfully, because of the outcry. The last game I remember getting slammed was MK11. It might survive on the mobile market, but console/PC gamers won't tolerate it.

@Andrew5678 They do. They have the Frostbite engine that DICE created for Battlefield that's used in Mirror's Edge, Fallen Order, and the latest 4 or 5 Need for Speeds plus I'm sure all their sports titles use it.

@Kriven While you listed probably the only games anyone remembers playing, it didn't have that huge third party catalog like Sony had. They solely relied on first party titles which 90% of what you listed are. I remember not enjoying my N64 as much as my PS1 and playing the PS1 much longer and having more games to play.

I won't deny people having the N64 as their favorite system, but most people say "the N64 didn't have any good games" is because they were all first-party and a lot of people didn't like them as they were geared more towards children. Sony had more adult-oriented games thus that meme doesn't exist with the PS1. Some people may have only like Mario and didn't care for Zelda or any other IPS thus only ever knowing that Mario games existed on the system and "there are no good N64 games" persisted. The N64 was weird like that. I remember friends only talking about the franchises they liked and didn't play anything else on it.

@Wolfgabe Yep, because it's cool and popular to hate on publishers who do one, or a few bad things. Bethesda still has good games regardless of their work ethics, but it's not cool to say that. Oh! And remember EA has never made a good game before.

Never had this issue including the Joy Con drift. I guess people are just really rough on their controllers. We have 3 Switches in the house and not any of them have issues.

As long as Robomodo keeps their dirty mitts off the series I can get excited again. The series hasn't been seriously good since THUG2 through and that was 15 years ago.

@Heavyarms55 Have you ever played any of the games? MK has the deepest story in any fighting game and takes it pretty seriously. There's tons of lore that's been created for over 25 years. C'mon now.

Story mode DLC? That would be amazing. Anyone who says "MK11 is garbage" is dead wrong. You have never played a real garbage fighting game. You can dislike it, sure, but garbage? Grow up. The only people I know who say this are those who aren't any good at it...and the game isn't all that hot on Switch anyways.

I'll pass on this, still waiting for my World of Goo steelbook as well as a few Limited Run Games orders, but the warehouses are shut down due to Corona so nothing is shipping anyway.

@RodSD64 An indie publisher like Limited Run Games. These games do become "super rare" as they manufacture in small quantities and go for 3-4x the amount on eBay after release due to scalpers.

@Rodan2000 5,000 is the minimum they have to order to get steelbooks. The plants that make the books require a 5,000 minimum order. Any more than that and they will just sit around unsold. Trust me, these will sell out. Limited Run Games and Super Rare Games usually always sell out on their games.

@JayJ You clearly don't understand how it works then. Physical games are expensive to make. They have to order a minimum amount (usually 2,000 for basic games and 4-5,000 for steelbooks). They only have the minimum available as they don't want extra unsold stock sitting around. It costs a lot to manufacture a physical games, thus most games are minimum $30. It also keeps the game's value up as physical collector's want their games to be as valuable as possible.

This is all thanks to digital games taking over. If you want physical you now have to pay the price for it and a lot of us collectors (myself included) are more than happy to as it also supports the developer immensely.

@Razer It's not a bad game, just an acquired taste. It's well made, just very strange and not very appealing to the average gamer.

@NEStalgia When did Sony abandon the PS4? There's been steady exclusives since launch. The Last of Us II is out this summer. We just got Death Stranding.

@nkarafo I have a $5,000 PC setup and still spend hours a week on my Switch. I also have a PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Proof it appeals to anyone.

Reggie has an amazing charisma and is just a good speaker. It's part of why we all believe the Nintendo hype at every E3 since the GameCube.

As a nurse working in Seattle, I love this. It's nice to get the recognition. Getting free coffees and meals since this whole thing started feels good. I still get the occasional crazy person asking if 5G towers started it or that I'm part of the whole "conspiracy", but overall it's really nice.

Nintendo rewards will never be the same. Give us the physical goodies back.

It's the beginning of the 3DS shutter. They're going to do it slowly like this and then announce the discontinuation of consoles then eventually all online services.

Picked up Trials of Mana (physical) yesterday and also the Starlink Starter Set for $10 (physical). I'm also racing through FF8 Remastered. I love the x3 fast forward and no random encounters feature. I can finally finish the game now (it's been a childhood nemesis for me). The first two playthroughs as a kid I lost my save twice, the third playthrough disc 2 was too scratched up and my parents couldn't afford a new copy, the fourth playthrough I didn't pay attention to leveling enough and got stuck on a boss fight on disc 2. This is my fifth attempt to finally finishing this game.

@Linknallie you're right. It's not cheating. Did anyone forget all the cheats during the PS2/Xbox era and before it? No one cared then. The "economy" in AC is artifical anyways. You're not supposed to be trading outside of the any game. People need to play their game and leave everyone else alone.

Wow. People are taking this way too seriously. It's a single player game. It's not an MMO. You technically aren't supposed to be trading outside of the game anyways. Time travel all you want. First it was the dupe glitch, now this. Get over it. This isn't the only game you can use to time travel. You can do it in Pokémon as well. Gamers always find something to whine about.

You guys need to chill. Those poll results only show people take the game WAY too seriously and need to rethink their lives. It's not an MMO, it's not like it's server hacking. My wife does it all the time. It's your own game, you can do with it what you want. Does anyone not remember using cheats back in the PS2 era and before it just for fun?

I'm a nurse and have to deal with this every day despite also being a huge gamer. How incredibly selfish can you be? Talk about privileged. Do you work? Happened to my wife's Switch account yesterday. She activated 2-step immediately. My account has been 2FA for almost a year now after my PlayStation account was hacked and I nearly lost the account.

If people stopped buying the scalped systems this would stop! These people are freaking evil

@duffmmann The one from the Play Store doesn't work and/or my puck might be a fake/faulty. I got it off eBay for $30 about a year ago. I could never get it to work, and the N2 Elite app on the Play Store has low ratings with many people reporting issues.

@mesome713 It doesn't rip anything. It's like saying blank CDs should be illegal. You take the data that's already online and put it onto an NFC sticker, that's it. Nintendo also didn't shut down this system, just forced the company to change the name amiiqo. It's not illegal. The actual device is just a blank NFC storage device.

The fact that everyone is trying to be a moral compass is silly. Not everyone can afford these amiibos or wants to spend hundreds of dollars on them. I'm sure every single person here has pirated something, even if it's one song. Anyone over the age of 20 has pirated something whether it's a PC game, song, or streaming a movie off of a website. Don't be a bunch of hypocrites. It's also not illegal to use NFC cards. Nintendo forced the amiiqo name change, they didn't shut it down. That's like saying any blank media is illegal.

The N2 Elite puck doesn't actually work anymore and hasn't for over a year. I bought one over a year ago and the app has been abandoned for a long time. It doesn't work on Android 8 or higher and is complete garbage. They also don't even sell them anymore at least on eBay.

It uses the Crytek engine on PC and runs poorly unless you have a really powerful GPU. Not sure how they got this to run on Switch.

I use a non-alcohol based cleaner I use on my TV screens/monitors for all my electronics and a microfiber cloth. Never once had an issue with it. Been doing this since I was a teenager. It's called Screen Mom on Amazon. I have been using it for years. One bottle lasts me over a year and it gets everything clean without harming anything.

Also, I don't disinfect my electronics. If someone is so dirty that it needs disinfecting you shouldn't be touching my shit.

They need to start working on Sega CD/Saturn/Dreamcast ports already. I'm so tired of Genesis releases. There are so many hidden gems on their later systems that people love. Hell, give us Game Gear ports or something already.

Not much this week it looks like. I'm busy with RE3 and got some games on the current eShop sale. April looks to be a dry month outside of FF7.

Been casually looking for a Switch Lite just so I can leave my regular Switch at home and there's literally nothing. My wife had to get one on Craigslist, but it's hard to find one that's not being price gouged. I mean, the shortage is temporary. Out entire area is out of stock in every store except GameStop but they're all closed here in Washington. I will just wait for more stock, not going to pay $300+ for a Switch Lite.

Not an AC fan. My wife loves it, and we each have our own Switch. Not saying it's a bad game just not my style. I don't like life simulators. Never got into The Sims, or any of the hundreds of, mostly awful, survival games out there.

Younger people need to stay home to not spread the virus. That's the dangerous part. You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. You have no credentials for anyone to take your seriously either.

Younger people also can't go anywhere or do anything right now. Younger people meaning anyone under the age of 50 by the way. Not just teenagers and little kids. There are food and supply shortages all around the world. Wake up and stop acting like this isn't a big deal because you're sheltered in your comfortable life. There are also younger people who are out of work and facing possible homelessness and utilities being cut off.

Retirement accounts pretty much stopped receiving any interest (including my own), which means they're not growing. Medical facilities can't get the supplies they need because of selfish people who hoard supplies (including my facility). It goes beyond your selfish unrealistic claims of this being a vacation for the younger population. A lot of people are scared.

Grow up.

Knowing GameStop they aren't going to break street date. They never EVER do. So Friday morning at 9AM it is for us.
