I don't care for AC, but my wife is head over heels for it. Glad it's getting great reviews. I can see the appeal of the game. Just like I don't like Minecraft, but can understand why it's so highly rated. I'm glad more casual games are getting high remarks, we need more of those.

Buuuuut...there's still the whiny bunch who are mad the game is scoring so high? Like what? Seriously? Isn't that a good thing?

So, people are mad that the game is getting good reviews, people are mad certain news outlets are giving it high scores...yeah sounds like typical whiny gamers. "It's too simple of a game to get a 9!" "I don't like AC how can this game ever deserve more than 6?!"

@DinnerAndWine You clearly haven't been reading any news. I'm a nurse, and it's the elderly who are dying from this, and the youths are spreading it rapidly.

@rjejr I live in King County and work in Northern Seattle, maybe 15 miles south of Redmond and 15 miles west of the Kirkland nursing home outbreak. I'm a nurse and basically work in ground zero. It's pretty bad here, but most people are just living their lives like normal. All the isolations and precautions seems to have slowed it down a bit up here.

@travisrusko As a nurse, and someone who has the credentials to speak on this, I can tell you even in the medical books wanting to be another gender is not considered a medical condition. You don't need to seek help. It's not a condition in the DSM-5 (official book of psychology) There are millions of trans people, and gay people, who are 100% mentally stable. The instability comes from people like you who try to classify them as having a mental disability, bullying, etc. and that's what they need the counseling for. If you are against people wanting to decide their gender and how they feel inside, you're a bigot end of story. Also, your puppy argument is deflection which is typical of someone who is a bigot. You're on the wrong side of the fence my dude. Even in hospitals, we have to address people as they want to be addressed. It's not a medical condition.

@Zuljaras if it bothers you then you're against it. Simple as that. If you weren't against it, why would it bother you? There's not special middle road for this kind of opinion either. You're either against it or for it, and no one likes people against it.

About $20,000. I have my collection insured even. I have a lot of rare games, mostly for PS1. Some rare Saturn games, my copy of Haunting Ground for PS2 alone is $200. I'm not the type to collect weird and obscure rare stuff like a N64 DD or a prototype testing console like a rare odd NES or anything like that, but it's mostly games and a few rare systems. I try to buy all my systems boxed if I can and will shell out extra cash for that. Game collecting is my main hobby and I'm blessed I have a career that can support that easily. I have everything cataloged and PriceCharting.com is the best way to determine what your collection is worth, at least for consoles, first-party hardware, and games.

I can't believe this HAS to be a damn topic of heated discussion. If this was "Dream Mommy" with hot milfs you would all eat it up and not argue. Just because it's a game you don't like doesn't mean it doesn't deserve an 8.

IT's popular to hate on AC3. I went to the midnight launch and it was a great game. I don't understand the hate and never will. Unity is a much worse game. I understand the story and characters were not as good as previous games, but it's not THAT bad. People just hate on it when they have NEVER played it or because it's a popular opinion. This port DOES suck however. I don't understand why people are smashing ports into a system that can't run them. Saint's Row had this problem too. STOP porting games to the Switch unless you're going to put more effort into it. Is it really that hard? Of course it's just a quick cash grab for people who never played these games and need a quick fix on their Switch.

@Audiogore0733 Then you've never played fighting games EVER in your life bro. How can you say each game is the same? They are all completely different especially Mortal Kombat. They change things SO much between releases and that's why it sells so well and has so many hardcore fans. Street Fighter literally died with the release of SF4 and they haven't bounced back yet.

@Paulywally Trying to shoehorn the Unreal Engine 4 is the problem. It just wasn't built for the low-end hardware the Switch has to offer sadly.

@Yosher Get with the times then or stop gaming altogether. Microtransactions are here to stay for the foreseeable future and soon every single game will have them. I don't mind them if it's for cosmetics, you can LITERALLY ignore them and they won't affect the game.

@SnesSwitch There are plenty of PlayStation exclusives you're missing out on. I mean a TON. It's an entire side of gaming you're missing out on. If you have never touched a PS console you really need to go back, bro. There's a reason why the PS2 is the best selling console of all time. It was all those exclusives and why the PS4 won this generation of consoles. The only Xbox One exclusive not on PC is Rare Replay, but I feel you for Xbox. Microsoft really dropped the ball this generation, but I still love my One X for multi-platform console exclusive games.

Also Crash was never a PS exclusive. It was a time release and they already announced it would come to other consoles later. It was a good faith gesture to PS fans since the original games stayed PS exclusive. No other exclusive PS4 game has made it to other systems and never will. God of War (the single best game of this entire generation hands down), Horizon, Killzone, Gran Turismo Sport, Days Gone, Last of Us, The Last Guardian, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted, Until Dawn, The Order, plus many other JRPGs.

I like how NL just assumes people will get super offended by this game like it came out 20 years ago. NO ONE cared in 2011 and they don't care now. SR:TT is probably the least offensive game to have been released at that time and now. People saying it's not "PC" are part of the problem as it's just Correct. If people don't like it, so what? We as gamers feel some obligation to go after groups of people who don't like something because we pride ourselves as the "nothing ever offends me I'm made of steel" crowd. Games CAN be insensitive and it CAN be wrong whether you accepit or it not. We all grow up differently in different cultures, households, and with different values.

Now SR doesn't offend me one bit, it's rather ridiculous rather that some times just isn't really funny but more shock value, and that's what the series went for since the very first game. I've played them all and they are rather forgettable. Fanboys getting up in arms because the Switch version didn't score 9's and 10's are just as ridiculous as the people saying this game isn't allowed to rub people the wrong way.

As for the performance, I saw this coming a mile away. The Switch just isn't powerful enough to run DirectX 11 games as my 2010 gaming laptop couldn't even run this on highest settings. This is also just a port so the publisher isn't going to dump a dumb amount of money into the game to get it running perfect. Patches can fix this up a bit later.

@Stocksy It's just a slightly above average game and it was when it came out. It was already riding on the coat tails of GTAIV when it was released and it was funny but super repetitive and nothing special.

@SnesSwitch Says the Nintendo fanboy? Like being a fanboy does any good these days? You're just missing out on what other consoles have to offer. SR:TT didn't get hot reviews when it first came out either.

@Kalmaro You're part of the problem. There's no such thing as PC just Correct. There's nothing wrong with people taking offense to this game just because you don't care. This game doesn't offend me one bit, I've played all the SR games, but don't be a douche about how other people might feel. I think NL saying it may offend people and the whole PC thing is a bit of a stretch anyway. It didn't really piss people off when it came out the first time and I doubt it will now.
